i dont understan all the hate this video is gettin, yes it missed some points, but the rest were alright. this video is not meant to be a substitute to reading the book, it's just meant to act as a refresher to get the main plot back in order. so stop wasting yout time criticising the video if you're not gonna read the book
One thing I noticed about this book as we were reading (Yes I admit it, I read the book and I enjoyed it. Whats it to ya?) was the lack of mentions of the US/Soviet/Mujahideen involvement. Yeah there was mentions of said groups sprinkled around in the book but it was more focused on the story at hand instead, which I did not expect because normally you see said groups all over middle-eastern stories.
40% comments: This is great summarizing and overall storyline. 45% comments: Complaining how Shmoop didn't tell everything in detail because they didn't read the book, saying it was useless, but I think that their brains are useless if they didn't read for their high school school assignment. jk lol 24% comments: Random comments and conversations 1% comments: Me roasting the haters comments.
I still despise the fact that Hassan is simply killed after being treated by a douchy kid especially after getting raped. he should of understood why Hassan had special treatment from Baba.
