- Borley is a wonderfully historic village with a church shows Saxon masonry and of course the most haunted place in England, Borley Rectory. This walk begins in the village of Foxearth and crosses countryside to Borley to see the Saxon church and the site of the Rectory that was demolished in the 1940s. The walk then continues to Liston where there is Norman architecture in the church and then back to Foxearth, via what was the tallest church in Essex.

Absolutely loved this video Joe. I always enjoy a walk, run or bike ride where I can stop and film inside a church or two. I have added Borley to my list of places to visit. Thank you for posting.
Next time you’re in Liston head down the road to Melford and you’ll find the beautiful mill house painted blue and white next to the water meadows- a glorious spot!
Have been there many times to sit by the weir. Lovely spot!
