I discovered FIR today and the first 3 songs I heard were "Voices In My Head," "Zombified" and this one. I was extremely excited to listen to more of their music. Unfortunately though, their older stuff sounds pretty different. It's not bad, don't get me wrong, but it's definitely not as good as the 3 songs I mentioned. Those truly, truly, stand out. Popular Monster is easily the best song I've heard in years. I hope they release a new album soon because I need more of this

i remember once watching Ronnie react to another channel doing this video, and the reactor asked "What genre is this??" and Ronnie responded with "the genre is Ronnie Radke" - i think that about says it all right there, you cant pidgeonhole, bracket or summarize this man or this band because they stand alone.

I'm obsessed with this song "drugs" and "I'm not a vampire revamped". I can just relate so hard. I lack self control with things and my mind turns into fucking insane mode. Just feels good to have a song that can help be an outlet and help me feel like there's someone I can relate to. I'm really loving these guys. Like Linkin park was for me 10 years ago.

I learned about them when I started the channel last year. I’m still in awe of their talent!
BTW Tom MacDonald and FIR/Ronnie Radke were set to tour together before the lock-downs last year. AND Ronnie does Twitch stream reactions to reactors so copyright strikes are rare....the girl is his daughter and is featured in a lot of his videos....SHE SAVED HIS LIFE, motivated him go get clean. He spend some time in JAIL... his story is amazing. He is a GREAT person.
You’re wrong but sure lol, prison motivated him to get clean, his daughter was born long after his time in prison where he had no choice but to sober up
She was born around when his brother died however and that aspect she saved him in a dark time, she was born in June and then his brother passed in an accident like a month and some change later
Back when I was in the metal scene I played some shows with his old band and this was before I went through my own addiction and behavior problems and I hated him for years for some of the shit he did..... once he came back and I heard this and losing my life I just wanted to apologize to him because I judged him when I hadn’t went through any shit of my own yet
His tour with Tom was canceled due to Ronnie's Guitarist Derek Jones passing away.
@@seanmccormick2998 His guitarist died around the time that "Carry On" came out. Over a year and a half after the Tour got cancelled. Just FYI. It got cancelled due to COVID.
Definitely have to do the Trilogy next, then I'm Not A Vampire Revamped and The Drug in Me is You is Re-imagined. Those two are songs he did years ago in a more punk style, then redid them more recently. They are both EPIC. So glad you are checking them out. If Ronnie ever reacts to you reacting to him, which is something he does, you need to do a reaction to that, lol.

Yes because their guitarist Dereks wife got cancer and sadly passed away in November 2019, and then Derek passed away in April last year :-(

I have patiently waited for your reaction to FIR!! They are the ultimate band! It is mainly Ronnie Radke who is the genius behind his music. There are many songs I can recomend and some of them really need to be seen in order to really be able to appreciate the genius that is Ronnie. The girl in the video is his daughter and she makes a cameo in many of his videos that are all movie quality! She is the grounding element after he have struggled a lot with legal issues including incarceration, drug adiction and depression. I recommend the following in this order:

Feel you, I also grew up in the age of Nu Metal, and Linkin Park in particular, and also went down the Falling in Reverse rabbit hole with Popular Monster, which literally brought tears of joy to my eyes. Ronnie Radke is a frikkin genius and it is insane how versatile he is, not just his voice but in terms of music in general, song writing and music video composition (while he doesn't direct the videos himself, I think it's fair to assume that he sure has a lot of influence on what is going on in these videos).
