As a Filipino man living in Korea right now, Im really proud and at the same time thankful for these opportunities and recognition for my countrymen. New subscriber here. Excited to hear your honest evaluations for all the Filipino players moving forward.
It would be more fun if you folks get to see how you our college basketball programs in two of our two collegiate premier leagues, NCAA and UAAP and analyze the players and assess them if they'll be fit in the KBL. That could give you folks more eyes watching you from the Philippines.
maybe a lot will be surprised but when these guys (the guards) where in college (except for Albano), Juan GDL from SK is the best among them, individual skills and potential-wise. But unfortunately, he could not live up to the expectations. A lot of opportunities to level-up for him as he (barely) played in B-League and in Lithuanian League. You can see he still has the individual skills when he is playing in D-League but you can also see that he is not having fun and he is just forcing his game trying to solo carry the game, he could not play a role that is not the ace. His mind is not in the game IMO, he needs to get his confidence back, how? idk the answer.
i think Korean style of basketball is still good, your offense is very effective. The problem I see is, there is no adjustment in your system. You only play half court pressure defense, you always fight the screen even when it can be easily switch or go under. When you play stronger countries it is okay to stick with your system, but when you played versus Indonesia and Thailand, your national team should just ran over their arguably weaker roster and don't let them stick around and get their confidence (we know because we lost before). In your last FIBA window games, it was clear that Lee Hyun-jung was struggling with his shot but he still tries to find ways to be aggressive on the offense, If your players all have that mindset, I think you will still be alright in the FIBA scene.
I think the Korean National Team don’t stand a chance against the current Philippine National Team. The Philippines is very strong right now that they can even beat powerhouses like Latvia and New Zealand. On the other hand, Korea is even struggling to win against Indonesia.
Sorry for the late reply! The KBL All-Star Game has already ended, but you can catch the highlights here: ua-cam.com/video/YD27uivPOxs/v-deo.htmlsi=Vx-MSgspmYjpS4dH. We'll be doing a live review of the All-Star Game tomorrow at 12 PM, so I’d love for you to join us!
🤣🤣🤣 Great joke! DMX is a mediocre 6'9" college player in US. Transferring schools didn't help either coz that means he isn't valued as much as you guys do with him to be given up by an average D1 school.😂

Wow! Filipino players are really doing good in KBL!

한편으로 너무 걱정이다..이제 국제대회에서 필리핀한테 참패 당할지도...

We're already beating you brother. But I look forward on our next match soon. And I hope both of our teams are fully healthy

@@HUMAN01-p2l 동의하다. 그러나 그것은 필리핀 코치들의 잘못이다. 그들은 약하다. 그들은 새롭고 더 나은 팀 방어 전략을 배우려고 노력하지 않습니다.

In your dreams. Indognesia can't even qualify in world cup or Olympics.
Lol With the current Philippine team right now, you don’t stand a chance even if you go all out.
@jadeburigsay7042 keep dreaming Indonesia doesn't even qualify in the upcoming fiba asia cup hahaha
You dreaming?
