Since then there have been weak ass wanna be Sublime who sound close, but never had the soul that Brad did. It's like listening to his old man..shit gave me chills. Also, with Jeff Buckley and his father Tim Buckley. Both Jakob and Jeff never knew their fathers, though Jeff met his once. Both fathers passed very young in their own lives and in their son's lives (IIRC Jakob wasn't even born yet when Bradley passed) so neither man was there to teach their sons the craft of music and song. Jakob could sing exactly like Bradley if he chose, but sings in his natural voice instead which just sounds like Bradley via genetics.
