One thing that seems to be a constant in all your projects is your curiosity ans positivity about new challenges, as a creative that is really inspiring to see
That’s what it’s all about!
My biggest regret in life is working in a video store, and a customer came to the counter to ask 'What was that movie where a woman gets [Redacted] by a tree?'. My co-worker answered just a half-second before me, and I will never forgive him. That was my moment, and he took it from me.
Whoa, whoa, whoa.....they make hole punches that make mini leaves?!?! GET OUT!
Outstanding vid as always!
I see Black Magic Craft, I click like. I see Evil Dead Cabin? I click share! Groovy!
Hail to the King Baby!
Dude, army of darkness is a masterpiece!
it totally isss, i had such a blast watching that movie
It's very nice to see the "old style" work process video, with voiceover.I really like this way! Thanks for the video, by the way the final result is simply gorgeous
Your VHS and soundtrack cassette collection is amazing.
this was cool Jeremy, Good job
The rock under his foot is where they keep the spare cabin key, of course. The build turned out really well
I'm not a huge Evil Dead fan, but this is actually some of your best work. Big fan of this one for sure.
I think your miniature projects should definitely be used in stop motion animation movies because your attention to detail is definitely amazing So realistic Great Art Work.
The broken glass is so creative, love your creative problem solving!
this is the kind of crafting i love most. i dig all your videos, but, i beg humbly, more of this please.
started watching you as a freshman in highschool. going into my senior year of college. if i hadn’t joined the army i would’ve for sure continued making terrain, youre one hell of an inspiration
The way the corner is cut makes it fit the table space so nicely! It’s a beautiful project, and a perfect home for it!!!
10/10 deadites approve!
Your channel is criminally underrated. This is some of the coolest stuff. I’ve always been interested in miniatures and dioramas. I remember playing Mage Knight with my cousin when I was younger. Such a fun game.
Just wanted to comment and say this build was fantastic. A loving tribute to a fun series of movies, comics, video games and crossovers with other video games! Seeing it placed in your movie room was fantastic with the lights shining through it!
Evil Dead is probably one of my favorite movies, and of course, the sequels are great.
Learning how they filmed so much of the film on a really shoestring budget is kind of interesting. The chase scene is filmed by attaching the camera to a 2x4 (might have been a different size) board and then, of course, chasing after the actress.
The scene that follows it, the vine scene (if you've seen it you know which one I mean) is actually filmed in reverse, they attached the vines to her and then filmed the vines being pulled off, then reversing the footage.
It really is a B-Budget film that became so much more.
Also, as the main prop maker for the Evil Dead: The Musical performed by Good Luck Macbeth (Reno), I LOVE this episode!
Dude, your channel has been an stress relieving, joy to watch over the years. I go in and out of my hobbies but every time I get back to the diorama aspect I always freshen up woth a few of your uploads. You do stellar work. I only wish we would get to see your skills tackling more cosmic, alien, type crafting. Regardless, still my favorite craft channel! I hope you have and still are getting more out of it than what you put in. Its well deserved!
This is amazing. I recently helped my daughter do the "last minute build" for a project at school. Just goes to show that it doesn't matter the generation, kids are "pros" at procrastination.
That was *running chainsaw while waiting for the camera to pan upwards "Groovy."
You did an honor to the movie, it came out well done.
I LOVE this. Thank you for sharing and making it exist. Evil Dead is one of my absolute favourites. Hail to the king (of craft), baby!
Evil Dead 1-3 are in my top 10 of fav movies but the series is absolutely amazing, it sucks that it only got 3 seasons, but those 3 seasons I could watch over and over again(which I have lol) and never get bored of it.anways I love the time and effort you put into making these dioramas.
This video was so much like the "older you" videos and I really enjoyed it. I sincerely miss how you were, toward when you started out. You were different then, you were happier and it seemed like you really enjoyed what you were doing. I haven't seen this in a long time. ❤
"Creation is just a series of problem solving steps". I couldn't have said it better! I really share that sentiment working on my own creative projects. Awesome video! ED2 is one of my all time favs.
It's always so refreshing to watch the builds where you twist your normal process. Great work on that cabin!
Dude, this is why I love your channel.
The Evil Dead trilogy is one of my all time favorites. Yes, the series peaked at 2 and yes the original is the best. But I love it all the same.
What more can I say except... Groovy.
Black Magic Craft is the best evil dead channel
I love seeing your projects, regardless of how long they take! It's so obvious that they're made from passion and love for the subject matter and the craft. The new shirts look great too!
This was awesome. More iconic horror movie dioramas wouldn't make me upset.
My favorite part is the hole-punched leaves.
I've been watching more and more diorama builds from various creators, and I'm so glad to see such a cool Evil Dead cabin!
hell yeah, Evil Dead 2 is one of my favorite films, definitely my favorite horror film!
Using a leaf hole punch on a leaf to make smaller leaves hits me as funny. It works. It's hilarious.
No way I could have as much fun watching a video as it was to actually make the thing.
THANK YOU! LOVE IT! This universe is so iconic, LOVED that I was able to see Army Of Darkness in theatre!!!
"Green Theft World"...bravo :D
I'm a bit out of the loop, what happenned with GSW?
I’m out of the loop too.
@@pablomahe1284 I don't know about their issues with intellectual property or anything, but their marketing emails irk me.
To make up an example:
The email could have a title like "New Paintbrush Technology!" and the email is about terrain bits and display shelves.
@@pablomahe1284 dont know about anything new but almost everything they sell is just a repackage with a massive markup.
GSW likes to take other peoples projects and products, then trademark them and sue the original creators so they cannot sell their products anymore. Mostly going after small companies. Other things they are known for are stealing work from painters and posting them as their own artists. And when called out will retouch the photo in an editor and repost it instead of crediting and paying the artists. As well as a whole host of other horrible and
Malicious business practices.
Now i need to rewatch this classic!! ❤❤
I made a display with the Neca Ash figs. It’s a clear display case but I didn’t want to just have them in a case.
So I took what I’ve learned from your videos and made a version of the camera as a backdrop. This was coffee stirrers and foam core. The ground is foam core as well.
I wouldn’t have been able to do this, about a year ago, without your tutorials and making several projects over the pandemic. It all began with your D&D tiles.
Thank you so much.
This is so cool! Love the Evil Dead!
I’m generally not a fan of dioramas, but one I will one day build is the bathroom for the first Saw.
Another fun build. I always find it interesting to work with materials other than just foam. Love the Canadiana references!
Nailed it man. Ironically, I started THE CABIN about 3 weeks ago (not for Evil Dead, but a Supernatural/Scooby Doo/ Cthulhu project). Your crafted version wrecks both of the stl files I'm messing with. x
I'm an evil dead fan boy, I grew up about an hour-ish from where the original one used to be in Tennessee. It'd be awesome to do haunted theme terrain in a wicked forest for playing Marvel Crisis Protocol...using Scarlet Witch, Dr Stange...and all the other "mystics" from Marvel
Love this video, was pretty hyped when I saw the preview. Evil Dead is one of these series that have just a special place in my heart.
Due to the censorship laws in Germany, you could not get evil Dead and other horror classics in you regular shop. We had a special Movie store with a 18 and above section in our town though. After turning 18 a good friend and I just went there weekly, get some horror dvds and spend evenings watching and rewatching them. Evil Dead and Texas Chainsaw Massacre being the series that we rewatched the most. Happy times.
Groovy. Its neat to see your contractor background and creative process be so in sync on these dioramas.
I love the way you build this. Its almost the way, i did my dioramas. There is always a point, when you think " How can i create this special Look or item or whatever, with things i had at home". You cant always get out and buy new stuff. And this is the point, when your creativity comes out, thinking in new ways. and most time, i learn a new way to create something.
Great cabin, a really nice Diorama. 🤩
You killed it on this one! I also really appreciate what you had to say about that artificial/model railroad look. I'm in the middle of a couple of terrain projects and it was a good reminder not to skip the finishing touches once I get the flock down.
Love to see you do a supernatural themed diorama
Love how this one turned out, and I gotta agree with your ranking, 1 is the best, then 2 then the others after.
Love your work. Evil dead has always been one of my favourite franchises
Great subject matter... "Groovy" and sweet cabin build.
Man, I totally wussed out at Adepticon and didn't come say hello even though I saw you around. Now I feel like even more of a doofus... I'm a HUGE fan of Evil Dead 2. Amazing build. Great to see. Can't wait for the next one.
Always say hi!
Nice work, Jeremy. The cabin has a lot of story to it, you did a great job bringing the diorama to life
It's weird, but when you did the "collapsed cabin in the woods" miniature I thought how cool it would be if you did the cabin from the Evil Dead movies. I love how this one turned out!
With Evil Dead being one of my favorite franchises (even the series, which was a mixed bag for me), I can happily say this is one of the best tributes ever! Groovy.
Damn. Good job on that scene. "This is my boom stick!" Love Ash. Great video. Thanks. (Just doing my part to appease the UA-cam algorithm.)
Tip for printing statues at 28mm scale: Import all the parts in 3D Builder at the same time. Usually they're all still in the same relative positions so it'll make a complete figure. Then you can merge them into a single piece and rescale as necessary.
This has such an awesome look to it. You did a great job on it. Really cool stuff.
Hail to the king, baby. Great build!
I build like you do. I'm so glad I'm not the only one.
Love your stuff!!!
Dammit! As an Evil Dead franchise fan, I want to make an Evil Dead Diorama. Great work as always man.
Only one thing to say:
Groovy.
Please do more builds like this. .I think its my favorite one yet..love it.
I really feel the energy that goes into a build like this. Great video! The small steps are so inspiring, like putting paper wdges between the logs. That helps me a lot in my creative process.
I have been wanting to do this for years, but the diecast model of the Delta just doesn’t exist. I got so hyped when I saw this, and then saw you printed it 😆 guess I need to find someone with a printer! Great work! I love it
Thats a great idea Mr. BMC!!! I play a lotta Last Days Zombie Apocalypse, and I love the idea of scale cars and busted glass, damage,...it just makes the whole board more immersive! but I always had trouble with the glass/ windshields. I tried to make bullet-holes with a pin vise, it worked, but tried to get the cheap plastic to "spider-web", with an X-Acto just made it crack with BIG-gaps. Looked tottlly unrealistic, and not at all what I was looking for. Now you made these shattered windows gives me ideas! Like a burned-out car,....and doing what you done, I could tint the glass with a wash. Thanks Man for the inspiration here! Great diorama. NOTE: Hasslefree does an almost PERFECT Ash Miniature in 28mm scale. FYI. Peace!
I was right this is officially my favorite video of yours!
I like these new different cam usage (Ring, Selfie etc.)
Groovy
Love it! The Evil Dead was a part of my teen horror education, although I didn't think Ash would still be fighting the Deadites nearly 40 years later!
very cool! Loved the first Evil Dead the most
ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!! LOVE IT!!
I. Recognized! That! Immediately!
I've literally just finished watching all the Evil Dead movies (again), and will be watching the Ash vs Evil Dead series (again) soon. lol
I really like the way you constructed that, building it around the paper model. I'm planning a log cabin build and this will be really useful.
The first Evil Dead is in my top 3 favorite movies, so this was so brilliant to see. The cabin & diorama turned out wonderful!
Your original stuff is usually your best, but this is wicked cool.
That looks fantastic.
What a cool build! The music in this video had some real Magic Sword vibes.
Magic Sword is rad. I’m lucky enough to have seen them live!
Awesome work mate! I have a big love for movies that use miniatures and stop motion so this hit home for me 👍
Combining two of my favorite things. So good!
Evil Dead is an awesome franchise. I have to disagree on the Army of Darkness , I really like that movie . Yes it’s way out of the normal story but it’s still pretty cool . Nice job on the cabin ! Looks awesome man !!!
Dude! C'mon! This is OUTSTANDING! You totally nailed it! So iconic. Now all you need to do is head down into that cellar.... and carve yourself a witch!
the itty bitty hole punched leaves is about the coolest fuckin thing i've ever seen wow
Loved this build. Your creativity and ingenuity are inspiring as always. More importantly though, give us a movie room tour!
This is one of my favorite of your builds!
Kassie DePaiva from evil dead 2 is from my home town. She is super nice and signed my DVD one time when she was in visiting family.
Great as always, can't wait to try implementing some of these ideas!
I have always wanted to watch you make a horror diorama and one of my favorite horror movie franchises at that
This would look incredible in my tattoo studio, which is heavily horror themed , awesome build
Watching this made me want to rewatch the franchise movies.
I saw the first, its remake and the new one. Never seen 2 and 3.
Army of Darkness is the best comedy in a horror setting. Great build this week!
I like the TV series and the medieval one where ash travel back in time.
That looks incredible!
Great diorama!
Excellent job!
Wow! 😍
Awesome build!
Another banger of an episode that gives me ideas for my own set pieces. Speaking of, Evil Dead is from the era most of my own table top games exist in. I'd love it if you did some cityscapes or other semi-modern sets... Ghostbusters, perhaps? That's where my photo comes from, my first minis from Ghostbusters the Board Game!
