I bought this machine brand new but only used it a few times. Now I want to hem the new pants. I can't find the piece for the blind hem. Can I still hem my pants without this piece?

Please do again this video with a different color of fabric, it will be helpful one that has a different color on each side

Would this stitch work on a stretchy fabric? I mean, would it give at all if stretched or would the thread break?

Hi Barb this stitch is best on woven fabric however there is a version for stretchy fabrics. It has zig zags instead of straight stitches.
