Ya I mean 10% sh and only putting a 1/4 would make it a 2.5% strength. I always start off weak maybe 1/8 or 1.25% and if it doesn’t get it off then add a little chlorine. Always start weaker and step it up
@@pressurewashingguides3178 10 4, thank you ! Glad video as well! . I been trying to find a ok priced downstream injector for my 3100 2.3gpm machine but alot them are iffy reviews about working and I don't wanna waste money lol. Or spend 100 plus
@r.ptoneloc3173 or 3? It would be too time consuming and dangerous. At that point it is better pay a pro to spray it. Those little pump sprayers are fantastic for one story homes.
I mean if the house is filthy and u just do this then yes you could tell the streaks that’s when you would upswell for whole house cleaning. But I always spray the house and windows down before doing it to help prevent an issues
If I see it before hand I take pictures and note it. If you use to strong of a mix then you can damage the paint and siding. I always use the weakness mix that gets job done. Also if you keep the walls wet and don’t let it dry on the paint that drastically helps. I’m over 100 jobs I have never damaged anything though if you spend the little extra time keeping things wet and only using a 1-2% mix max closer to 1% so 1/8 pool chlorine in a pump up sprayer if not a little less
Yes I try to keep everything wet the entire process and not let it dry very long. Most houses I'm doing are already heavily oxidized and I dont offer them removing that just to clean the green/mold off.
When you say chlorine, are you talking about sodium hypochlorite?
Add a tiny bit of dish soap! It acts as a surfactant and makes the bleach stick to the siding/gutters better
Awesome thanks for the vid! If I use 10% sh In a pump sprayer maybe about 1 quarter to? I don't wanna damage dark grey vinyl siding

How would u do that on a 2 story house

How does it not run down the house and leave streaks

Will it do vinal siding
What if you spray it like this then rinse with garden hose dont water get in soffit and cause black mold ?
What do you do if that part's made of wood, not vinyl?
I would personally still do the same thing but make sure to keep it wet at all times and not let the SH sit to long
Did you ever see damage to the paint/siding of the house?

Bleach oxidized in the hot sun. Especially on vinyl siding and aluminum. I've been installing siding for 30 + years
Do you do it in spring or fall on a cloudy day?

and where can i get a mask that does'nt fog the eye protection?
ya a good respirator with anti fog run about $50
Use comet cleaner on gutters to clean and get rid of black streaks
How far did that pump up sprayer take you
It would spray like 20 ft but I loved it for little jobs and I replace it every like 3 months its cheap
