This is how we also did our introduction also, we went to registry and also called our friends to do makeup, decoration,photography, catering and everything at an affordable amount of money for our traditional wedding. The wedding was very interesting and we never own anyone after the wedding. Our marriage is a month now 💃🏻 and I’m happy we did it the way we want it.

My question is about the planning, did you guys spend all the money yourself or is it just the groom family or both parent joined together!
Thank you for watching. We spent our money (husband and wife) on our basic needs (like clothes, shoes, hall, cake, decoration, ring, logistics for ourselves and the likes). The families cooked separately so each family sorted their food depending on the number of guests they invited. We planned for 50 per family even though we had a little bit more. The grooms family sorted the bride price list.

We really can’t remember a lot of the prices but we will try to put down a list.
The main thing is that you got married and see eye to eye. Both of you are sensible people. The cakes were lovely, also your wedding gown. If you're working within a budget, you cannot go over it, that's the reality. I like the fact that you didn't make a big elaborate wedding and end up being in debt after it was all over. 🎉

We will try to get the exact price. We can’t really remember most of the prices because we went to the market to get everything ourselves, including the gown and suit materials.

Another thing is, we are also planning on having a low budget wedding, but the thing is there's no how I can do it that I won't end up offending alot of people, because of the kind of job I'm into, am a teacher and it's my Mum that also own the school. So I think to me, that part is challenging.
The people you think you’ll offend aren’t an important part in your marriage. Anyone who gets offended with your decision and holds a grudge doesn’t really love and respect you. I understand the feeling to gather friends and colleagues to rejoice with you. If you can afford it, it’s very nice. If you can’t, just focus on the purpose, which is the wedding and marriage.

We had our engagement immediately after the church wedding. We had reception and engagement at the same time so it was like killing 2 birds with one stone. It saved us money and time.

Fab Daddy is also from a polygamous family. He invited only his immediate siblings to avoid complications and family drama. A lot depends on you and your spouse. You are in the position to decide what you want for your marriage and you must be able to stand your ground especially with your parents. Also, pray hard!

But when you have to share on social media, then you should help us to know some very specific things.. By mention the price or amount spent that constitute the Low budget wedding. To one person 800,000 can be a low budget wedding, while to another 2M can also be a low budget wedding. So it would have been good to know the range of your spending that makes it a low budget wedding.
Secondly, where you both working and what is the salary range. Was the contribution coming from both of you.

There’s no amount that exactly defines low budget or high budget. 300k might be low budget to us and high budget to someone else, the same way 1M can be high budget to us and low budget to someone else. I can’t remember the exact figure but I think we spent about 300-400k (somewhere in between).
