Unpopular opinion: Rachel and Jesse were a better romantic pairing than Rachel and Finn (as characters ofc) and their voices just complimented each other nicely

Honestly all of Rachels relationships were catastrophes at all - but I agree, in my opinion Finn never really had the ambitions and also (sorry to say this) intelligence level of Rachel and most of the time I had the feeling Rachel treated Finn more like a ... "better dog" than a human being that she loves (because most of the times she was the only important part of the relationship). Jesse fits better in this case, that Jesse was as reckless as (but maybe not that naive and even more self-centred) Rachel was in terms of their dreams and standing on stage or in the middle of everything and even Jesse wasn't portrayed as intelligent, at least within music, art, acting and something he kinda speaks the same language like Rachel, which Finn never does. But honestly, their relationship was also bad (and at the end of Glee REALLY constructed, just because of Corey's death they couldn't made the happy ending they planned), because at the end Rachel and Jesse are kind of toxic personalities that barely want to share the spotlight and I guess in the longrun, they would eat each other living.

Madilyn candles dragged them down a lot but with the Klaine duets the show just went quantity over quality. They have 16 more than anyone else and half of them aren’t great and really poorly arranged. There are some great ones (baby it’s cold outside, got to get you into my life, it’s too late, American boy etc) but Candles, Animal and story of my life where huge drags on the score

Meg Talks Glee I forgot about Animal! Oh god that one was really bad too! So was Story of My Life, and Just Can’t Get Enough wasn’t great. And oh god Perfect? Daydream Believer? God there really were some not very good ones. They always either made Chris go ridiculously high or weirdly low, instead of just like, his basic mean Range. That’s why American Boy is ICONIC.
