We boarded P&O Oceana in Malta before sailing to Split. The ship is beautiful and the staff so helpful.
We spent the sea day relaxing before the Captains Gala Party. Our first port was Split, here we visited the KrKa National Park. Our second port was Venice. We didn’t ride a gondola but we did go to the top of the Bell Tower at St Marks Square and explore the streets to find the Rialto Bridge. Ravenna was a relax day before Dubrovnik. Dubrovnik was our favourite, we went up in the Cable car and then walked the walls of old town before seeking out some Game Of Thrones filming locations.
After a sea day, we arrived back in Malta. It was a great cruise, P&O Oceana is a classic cruise ship with some fabulous staff - Highly recommend the ship and the Mediterranean itinerary.

It’s been announced that oceana has been sold to another cruise line. It’s very sad because I always wanted to sail on her, she looks like an amazing ship based on your video and my grandparents video from when they went on her. I always preferred the smaller classic ships. Edit: Let’s hope she doesn’t go too far, I have a feeling aurora might bet next. 🇬🇧 Great Video by the way, definitely brings me back some memories. Every lunch time at school id watch your videos :0)
It's Sam Hussey thanks Sam, it is a shame but with things the way they are at the moment and with Iona and her new sister ship on the way it was kind of expected I guess. We liked Oceana but she was our least favorite in the fleet, I hope they don’t sell Aurora as she was the first ship we went on.... but we’ll just have to see. I was lucky enough to see and film the Oceana leaving the Tyne a few days ago.
As a child, I actually liked the Canberra, another P&O ship, with her all-white hull and twin yellow funnels.

Im sure you’ll love your time in Croatia, the krka Park is definitely worth a visit (it does take 2hrs to get there & back again) but it’s beautiful. We absolutely loved Dubrovnik, being game of thrones fans we thoroughly enjoyed it, it’s like Disneyland for grown ups😂 the cable car is also fantastic👍🏻

Was on oceana at the beginning of this year and going on her in Jan 2020. In the cafe jardin they have a cake called nutella cake its Devine roll on January love this ship

Have you heard of the new P&O ship? Apparently she's roughly the same size as a carnival ship!
It's Sam Hussey Productions! Yes, P&O’s Iona, she’ll be the biggest cruise ship built for the British cruise market, and LNG powered too! She’ll be sister ship to Aida nova (I think) there’s footage of it kicking about UA-cam- to give you an idea, however I have also seen virtual models on UA-cam just look up Iona 👌🏻

Great video guys, we were on this one too, caught site of us twice in your video, including one in the beach house, we were at the next table to you. Thought the idea of the music overlay good, saves a lot of editing, one question what kind of cameras were you using?, the quality was very good

Brian Easson thank you 👍 Glad you liked it. Great spot in the beach house. We do all the filming on iPhones (6s and a SE) and it’s all put together using iMovie on the phones.
Well done video but you need a new camera. Images are sharp when camera is still or zooming in and out but everything blurs slightly whenever panning side to side.
VancouverKris it’s all done on my phone, it’s probably due to the lights LED lighting does effect it. This was filmed a few years ago now I have a newer phone. We were also using those clip on style lenses at times too, so that could have effected it. Thanks for the comment though 👍🏻

It was an organized excursion with P&O and takes about an hour by coach each way. 👍🏻

Thank you, this is one of our old style videos before we were brave enough to talk :) You could change the beds in to a queen, but what we find sometimes in these smaller insides, you get more room by having the beds separate - it's a little inside space creating hack! :)
Just one more question - are we right in thinking you flew from Bristol Airport - if so, who with and what sort of time .....we only have to wait 3 more months before we find out our flight times lol
Alison Martin Yeah, we flew from Bristol. We were one of the first flights, around 6/6:30am so were on the ship by midday. You will need to pick up your cases from the luggage carousel in Malta and wheel them to the P&O bus, after that you don’t see them until they are placed outside your cabin (this is because you are on a shared flight, not a P&O chartered one) - hope that helps.

Sorry, you are right! An inside cabin, how did you get on with an inside? We always have an outside with balcony. Just watched your vid of Ventura (Belgium) too, it looked a bit wintry but it brought back relatively recent memories as we were on her in Sept. Btw going on Arcadia in 3 days time!
Sue Bradford no worries :) yes, we got on fine - we specifically picked this inside as it was next to the aft terrace, very convenient. We nearly always go inside as we don’t spend much time in the room and it means we can cruise more often haha. Re then Ventura one, yes slightly cold but lovely to see the Christmas markets! Lovely, enjoy Arcadia, it’s been years since we went on her, one of the prettiest looking P&O ships and one we need to go back on to make a better video 😊
Hi guys, me again. Arcadia was lovely, except we had a cabin opposite a service door which housed the air conditioning unit for the whole ship, oh dear, and it sounded like a droning helicopter whilst switched on, which was most of the time. Had to double up the earplugs at night which worked a treat and they offered us two other spare cabins so I can't say they didn't do their best. So once I got used to the "foreign bodies" in my ears we had a lovely cruise round the Med. Can't wait for your next vid!
just so interesting , having been in dubrovnik and visiting again soon it was actually good to see the location of the cable car behind the walls . We did not have enough time to do cable car last visit , so now know the location , Thanks guys you certainly enjoyed yourselves . Can you tell me please what do you use for all the amazing footage ? a video cam corder or just your IPhones .
Lawrence king the cable car is amazing! The view from the top is fantastic topped off with a glass of wine under the Croatian sun - ahhh heaven! Try and get there ASAP as soon as you get off the coach/transfer, it gets busy quickly and the queue can be quite long- but it’s definitely worth it! Next weekend I’m hoping to upload the full cable car climb as in this video I cut bits out to keep the overall run time down. 👍🏻 as always thanks for your comment I’m glad you enjoyed it!

Yeah all done through the iMovie app 👍🏻 it does take days to do! But I love looking back it brings all the memories with it 👌🏻
