Last year, a friend of mine and his dad decided to hike colden's trapdike-he slipped and lost his life on the rockface at 1:15. I salute you guys for taking that route.
Watch for the Park Rangers..not an approved trail and they will lecture you either going up or down...down is much more of a challenge with great free climbing in a water fall....great video

Cool, I had no idea you could do Colden from the lake? That's awesome, next time I do Colden I'll have to remember that. Looks amazing.
