    Very nice! Looking forward to seeing this series. I just did the duraspark conversion on my 84 BII and it's running way better than when it had the old feedback carb wiring harness rats nest!! Cheers!

    Wish I could walk into a Nova scotian field and find a Bronco 2 that good a shape. Our tin ants love steel, and sheet metal,I also follow Junkyard digs,👍.Happy Friday, God bless 🙌 🇨🇦 I once owned a 1984/86,and a 1988 that's why I said could find another, explorer driver last 15 years

    Old Fords never die. People just park em.

      So true. I just bought a 2000 ranger (not that old, but old enough) that hadnt been on the road since the end of 2017. It ran when parked and just toodled up the road with no plate to keep the fluids fresh for 2 years. Finally the guy got around to selling his small boat n truck since he was too old to boat much anymore. This thing has had 7 owners and nearly 200k miles and still runs and drives like a champ. Even though it practically pours oil out of the rear main seal.

      Unfortunately i live in an area that they rust away to nothing. My black bronco is so bad that the only thing holding the roof to the floor is the firewall and the floor to frame mounts are down to 2 of the 6/8.

    Had a 2.8 Bronco. Smoked like a diesel but still ran. Unbelievable that it did considering its life.

      Yes they are tough little trucks. I have had two others and they took a beating. This one will have an easier life.

      They have their pros and cons. they last a long time if properly maintained and you dont try and up the power too much. this is the only 2.9 i have had but i have had quite a few of the 2.9 and 4.0.

    Had a 86 bronco 2...could not let it get below 3/4 tank of gas..if it did it smoked and sputtered like crazy..had complete fuel system redone in it new tank etc and still ran like that. Took it to Ford dealer and they were baffled at what it could be..good luck on fixing it up

    • @repairityourself6275
      @repairityourself6275  4 роки тому

      I bet it had something to do with the fuel pressure regulator and the fuel return. I'm guessing someone plumbed it wrong and when you had the system replaced, they just copied what was already there. Would have been interesting to look at it myself

      ricky weaver also another question why ford always put horse name on their car like Ford Mustang and ford bronco and ford pinto

    • @repairityourself6275
      @repairityourself6275  4 роки тому +1

      The difference is the same between the ranger and f150. There were some real early Broncos that were more like the jeeps but that's a whole different truck again.

    Im looking at a 89 its really nice has the v6 but its not 4x4 i dont think... But i hear they still have a transfer case? And its been rhino lined outside nice rims tires interior is still very nice its a 5 speed manual anything i should look at off hand?

    • @repairityourself6275
      @repairityourself6275  4 роки тому

      I do know that 89 they offered a two wheel drive version but I dont thinknit would still have the transfer case. There isn't anything off hand that I would recommend looking at as they are pretty good vehicles. Just check things like the oil and coolant for cross contamination and check your normal wear parts like wheel bearings, u-joints and steering components. Other than that, if you like it and can afford it, you will love it. Dont hesitate to comment if you have any other questions.

    I have a bronco ii 1986 At what price can I sell the truck?

    • @repairityourself6275
      @repairityourself6275  4 роки тому

      There are many factors that play into the vehicle price. I suggest placing it for sale at $2000 and every two days take $100 off the price until it sells
