Amazing. Great to see that an alternative for body panels finally exists. The fact that no other company offers anything like this after 5 years of T7 existence really is surprising. Nice job...
thank you for doing it! I always wondered why no manufacturer dared to do it since many people are afraid of breaking their bikes and fill them with bars and extra weight. I'll give you my money!
Yet another item to contribute to the list on why Camel adv is the goat🤘🏻 Would love if you made 7/890 ones as well in the future, I know a guy that needs new plastics😅
Wow!!! That is so AWSEOME!! I have been going back and forth about crash bars. I also love the slim athletic look. The price tag on bars also makes me hesitant to getting them. THANK YOU CAMEL ADV!!!
Hello, what great news, now all that remains is the development of a tank with the original capacity but in plastic, a continuation of this spectacular work. greetings from Portugal
Nice work. Don't even have a T7 but it's good to see companies coming out with options. Shame you don't have a set for the Versys 300, and a few other bikes with rigid panels.
I like idea of not running crash bars, but then is there a risk of bending radiator if they are not there or something else or they are there purely (90% at the time) to protect plastics only? Thank you for making great products!
this is my only fear when not running crashbars. I wonder if these thicker panels can prevent damage to the rad if there was a rock in the wrong place...
You can replace the radiator 2-3 times before you get into the cost of most crash bars. Plus crash bars put extra stress on where they mount so you risk breaking other things as well. That, and running crash bars doesn't guarentee you won't break anything. If a rock, stump, or log goes through the opening of your crash bar you're breaking something anyways. They kind of provide a false sense of security to some extent. The T7 is very narrow compared to most ADV bikes so it's unlikely that you'd break anything other than the panel on a drop, but all crashes are different and anything is possible.
@@OgreMotoThere is difference in cost both monetary and time if, for example, I need to replace radiator or any other part that was broken because I decided not to run crash bars 50 miles from home or 1000 miles from home. The latter is always more painful as you are in unfamiliar setting far away from home with parts availability possibly questionable, but still a need to get home. I have had some good slides on stock crash bars and 0 issues, I am not saying they can't damage other parts on bike - sure they can, but what is more probable, that's the main question. I do understand that nothing is guarantied, however question what risks I am exposing myself if I don't run crash bars is important to me, and I am talking about real and probable risks, not hypothetical once in a blue moon scenarios. I am often in places that are far away from city, so this is important to me.
@@peterlv I kind of agree. It seems CamelADV is building a rad-brace to protect the radiator without crashbars. I still wish this bike had some integrated plastic crash protection of some kind, like the old KTM 990 or the new KTM 890 fuel tank covers. Something that protects the most vulnerable spot without big metal bars.
We haven’t made any decisions about the rear section yet. The mold would be huge and it would cost $80-100k USD. We’ll have to sell a pile of panels to just break even.
Sounds ridiculous but I’m currently trying to find side panels for my xt600 and thought these might work, would you be able to tell me the dimensions between the top and bottom mounting holes? If these are a similar size I will be ordering them ASAP. Cheers.
I'd love to ditch crash bars, but how do you keep from busting a radiator if you dont have crash bars and drop the bike on rocks? Awesome design though, I've always said its dumb for these off road oriented adv bikes to have hard brittle plastics
There are something like ten plastic panels on the T7. The tabs are crap, most of them have failed on mine, and its only two years old. I'm sure not gonna buy OEM replacements that are gonna fail just the same. Bad design, bad material. I'll give these a try when the time comes.
Are you guys thinking about making windscreen pieces also in solid white? And the rear tail piece? Thanks. Also, just an idea ,to make a camel adv. emblem to go where the Yamaha emblem goes so that we don’t have to order a Yamaha one.
No plans for windscreen pieces as they don't seem to be an item that breaks regularly. The rear tail section is f'n huge and the mold needed would be $100K or more so it's unlikely at this point... never say never. The fairing kit has two 3M double-sided tape circles to reattach the OEM emblems. We might make Camel emblems in the future but nothing is in the works at the moment.
@@Gwiedert If they spent the time and money on molds then stopped making them, there's a good reason. We have fuel tanks like that... they simply don't sell in the volume they need to to make it feasible.
Just bought a set! I was literally just thinking about this a few days back. “Man if I had cheaper, more durable fairings I wouldn’t bother buying crash bars”. And here you are with this product!!! Camel ADV is the GOAT! You can bet your ass I’ll be reviewing these on my channel as well! Thank you so much for your hard work! Now I can take off my pristine OE fairings and put on the cheaper, stouter ones and not worry about crash bars!!
Dammit, another Camel product I need. Lol Seriously though thank you, I’ve been waiting for this to be made for the T7 since the beginning. You’re going to sell a ton!

This is awesome , would love a full kit :) This would have saved me the money for my crashbars ! Definitely wanted to ride without but with the oem ABS it wasn't an option.
It would be great if you could fabricate the fork protection fenders. Not only do they crack super easy but you can never buy them in the US, They are contantly out of stcok

That's badass. Pretty soon you'll be selling a whole bike after all lol have to change that disclaimer to "yes you are finally getting a T7" 🤣
Just do a full plastics kit. Panels, rear, fork guard, fender. I'd pre-order.
Very surprised acerbis never did
Also the center tank area

Crash bar sales are going to tank. Hope you have a warehouse full of them. You are going to need them.
I don't think the crash bar manufacturers have anything to worry about!

Well, me being from Denmark just have to wait on till they show up in Europe then 😉, but good job bin waiting for that 😁
I’m stoked. I’d like a blue, but I suppose this will work better with a fuel tank upgrade since they’re mostly black.
I'm surprised a hole has been left in the accessory market for this bike.
The World Raid will rely on thick graphics kits I guess.
