Hi Ollie, really enjoyed the showcage training video,I have a question, you might be able to help me with,I'm colour feeding with cantaxa in the drinking water, and I also will be using muta vit,my question is what way do I give the muta vit if I'm colour feeding in the water,do I give two seperate water dishes, one for the colour and one with the muta vit. Thank you for your help.

I usually put mutavit in with the colour feed but if not do 4 days colour feed and 3 days multi vitamin

Thanks Ollie, informative episode. Very basic question for you, how do you get young British birds to go into the show cage to begin with? Simply hanging it on the front of a stock cage in a similar way to training canaries?

I’ve never had much success with hanging on the front with the natives so always catching the bird up and keeping it in there for a short amount of time

I wouldn't be putting them in showcages till they're almost moulted, you could loose them ..best off hang training cage on their flight cage/flight

Hi Murt, yes mate I generally won’t have them in a show cage in the moult due to the added stress. I just wanted to use them in this video as a demonstration with some of the cyb natives being almost fully moulted now and what to expect?
Have you had much success with having the cages on the front of the flight/cage? I’ve never had much success with getting them to go in

Nice video but would not recommend put something on the front as the cage as in shows it may be expecting a meal worm or what u gave it let them do it naturally
