@Wulliman I'm not disputing that, the fact is it doesnt come out frequently enough. I've had a few races where 2 cars have retired from the race near each other in an unsafe area and no safety car has come out, it definitely needs a fix.

@@TriplePProductionz If I didn't know any better, using the menu to check for weather will tell you that rain is loaded into the race. I just wait until Jeff says something while I'm racing and once he does, to start planning it out hopefully not middle of a long stint
Yeah, both the weather and AI strategy need to be tweaked. It's rare to even see the front runners go for undercuts in a race. You're more likely to see them over it and try to stretch their stints out.
I had in Brazil, that the rain will come in 5 minutes when it was 8 laps remaining, I had 70% wear with the mediums, 4 laps later I asked Jeff again, and he said 5 minutes AGAIN! I had 95% wear, so I came in, AND IT STARTED RAINING IN THE NEXT LAP! Luckily it wasn't as bad conditions, but most of the AI came in for inters for only one lap, so I finished at 9th with Toro Rosso...
Focus on your starts! Right before launching, the bottom right menu will say "Reach Optimum RPM" / "Maintain RPM". Be sure to rev to "Maintain RPM" and keep the lettering white, which indicates you're in the window of the optimum RPM. Otherwise you're over-revving the car and will have excessive wheel spin. Keep up the great racing! Starts are everything! P.S. Thank you for such entertaining videos, excellent editing and great music choices to build up the suspense. Good luck on your next race!

I've done 3 races in my let's play career mode, and I've seen the full course safety car in all three races lol (Granted, 2 of them were caused by me, but still)

Ben, it apperas that weather forecast (6:00) was accurate, the session there was devided by 7 parts, which meant that each "cloud" for the race approximately continues for 4.7 laps. The switch for inters hit when there where just 5 laps to go (17:25). So it seems that pre-race forecast is more reliable than Jeff.

Again, take a look at the weather forecast in the strategy menu. If you see the last cloud being rainy, it means it will be ready for inters in the very end, not start raining in the very end. Got caught out like that many times in AOR :/
I acctually like it that the rain is unpredictable it makes the race strategy wise way more interesting instead you always knows oh around that lap it is gonna rain
I think the Safety Car glitch might be with race length, anything shorter then 50% probably screws with it. Then again, it was on the way out in the episode where you ran into Danny Ric.
I did not see any SC aswell , i have a feeling they are not telling us about the f1 2015 patch that they made for f1 2019 (because f1 2015 did not have a safety car)
Its definitely there, I've had SC come out multiple times. It's just rarer than it should be. Now that I think about it, Ben might have it turned off by accident. For some reason off is the default setting.
I finally got a safety car in France season 3. Not sure if it was because of the hurricane that we were driving in or Butlers backmarking Renault retiring on the inside of turn 1
I saw the safety car at Australia in the first season and haven't seen it since (although I am only at Baku)...they should probably increase the frequency a bit

I know it’s last years game but I got a crazy safety car where it was HEAVY HEAVY rain at China and I could barely see so they threw the safety car out... that’s the craziest thing I’ve seen in an F1 game

I actually did a full race at Monza in rainy conditions with dry tyres. None of the ai went for intermediate tyres throughout the entire races. Codies will need to fix this.
You should check out the Incidents tap in the Race Director when something like that happens to see if his lap was invalidated I have had both the VSC and full safety car. 99/100 when a car retires its because of a mechanical fault and they are able to pull their car onto the side safely. You need a racing incident with someone spinning to get a safety car
Anyone else noticed this? Towards the end of Q2 - Ben moves from 8th to 6th during his final lap of the session without finishing the lap. How can that possibly happen! Look from 3:19 in the video.
weird how you still havent had a safety car i had one in season 1 hockenheim just because it was raining and ive had loads of vscs seems like one every race
Had a safety car in my 2nd season 2019 F1 career mode @Baku come out on 1st lap turn two accident... stayed out for 5 laps when not needed at all in the race 🤦🏻♂️
how can you be so quick with assists off, i run all off except corner line and i am 4 seconds slower than quickest time trial and as far as i know i'm doing a perfect brake and line

Please ask Codemasters to patch the safety car in. It’s making my career a bit dead without it.

I’ve had the safety car once and I don’t know why it even bothered coming out. There was no accidents or breakdowns when it did.

In my Singapore race it was raining for the last 10 laps but never wet enough for inters and the ai are overpowered when it's wet with dry tyres on

Flashbacks move u up two places if used on a lap in Q2
I saw u used a flashback inQ2 because when you use a flashback it moves your place up by 2
It's sad that the Butler / Weber / You storyline doesn't continue onwards into the first F1 season and forwards...
