The narrative must be maintained and the agenda continue at all cost.
Interesting. At the 18 minute mark Ms.Dou said something that resonated with something I heard as a contrast between of Eastern and Western philosophy. In the West, things are seen as binary choices, this or that, good or evil. In the East, its a question of dualism, this and that, good and bad, ying and yang, each being different sides of the same coin.

I should add that the fact that year after year, since Huawei equipment has been restricted in the US as a security threat, the Pentagon has been given an exemption and is using Huawei's equipment in. its global communications because it could not maintain its global communications network without Huawei's equipment. Yet Huawei is considered to b e too much of a security risk to allow local US telecommunications companies from purchasing and using the equipment. Ironic.
Why is then the Pentagon having a waiver to use Huawei technologies if securities was the main fear.
Pentagon has a waiver to use DJI drones.
Because Pentagon is the furthest away from anything related to national security. I'm kidding.
Asking a NYT reporter how the Chip War is going? K. News for Dan: China has an advanced chip design platform, pretty much zero gap for performance chips, some gaps for integrated mullti-chip design. Process tools and materials are still lagging, but lets not2e the former CTO of ASML who drove EUV development - a Chinese gentleman - resigned, and like many Chinese tech leaders, is returning home as Sinophobia in the US and Europe make professional life miserable.
Change to topic to huawei
A microchip, tooling, software, and etching machine contains countless IP from various companies and countries.
How can USA government able to coerce, bully, and forced others to comply with it selfish agendas and strategic policies to maintain its' hegemony and monopoly, especially against China, as the top dog despite all USA companies only add up to a certain percentage of IP?
USA using it whole national weight against one single company (Huawei) is unprecedent in that scale and breathe counter to USA champion of free-market and globalization.
Future generation analysis via General A.I will conclude humanity technological progress suffer slowdown due to USA selfish and illogical efforts to maintain supremacy causes splitting of standards into two camps, hence reduces efficiency. That in turn might cause Earth survivability against doomsday cataclysmic natural disaster, be it asteroid impact or alien invasion.
Still very very shallow understanding of the subject regardless of skin colors.
When US talks Huawei, then you talk Huawei. Isn't this stupid? Don't you know anything better?
