I'm on j7 prime, using totsuka v3, I don't know if it has been discontinued, but it shows reboots after fleshing out the ares kernel v8, before starting the system, what do I do?

I'm wondering if I can switch from 6.0.1 (it's the last version I got on samsung j7 prime) directly to android 9 or 10. or do I have to gradually switch everything until I get to the specific version I want? and if for example I switch to android 9 and I don't like how it works can I go back to the one I'm currently using 6.0.1 and how? were thesame at first a got my phone with android 6.0 on top and i tried to directly custom roms with android 9 and it works.. just install twrp on your phone and copy all the instructions of what rom you want to install, because every rom has different instruction.

Its fixed now. First I flashed with orangefox. It didnot work. Later using TWRP it worked.
Update: sa mga naka mi band 4 na gagamit netong os, di siya mapair sa phone. Nadedetect siya pero ayaw magconnect.

hello i have a problem on my device i hope you know to fix it. the problem is that i have a 32gb original samsung sdcard which works on other j7 here on my house but my main j7 prime would not detect it. i tried to format and other partition of sdcard but i think the problem is on my phone i hope it could be fixed
Not working on twrp? U mean? If yes then, that is twrp bug, twrp can't detect sdcards only the internal storage will shiw

Find/search magisk specifically for your device to avoid damage,...
Heres the steps for rooting;
1.download magisk (specific for your device) recommended magisk version 20 or stable build.
2. Flash that through twrp.
3. Reboot.
4. Download root checker to check either you successfully root or not.
Done.

Be sure its treble kernel, but after you change if your phone wouldn't boot just reflash the rom to back it normal......

cuz im using the older build of this rom wgich is the v1. but if you come from another custom rom or you come from stock rom then you need to flash create vendor first.

as of today, 3days of usage i never encounter serious bugs like random reboots and i think this would be my daily rom. very smooth so far.

Already ares kernel v5.1 na po ang totsuka os v3, pero if you try different version its okay pero hindi ko pa na try mag palit ng kernel sa rom na ito. Anyways kung palitan mo ng different version tapos you encounter some bugs install mo lang ulit yung rom para ma revert.

YES. I'm using this rom for playing Mobile Legends. Very good experience 👍 no random reboots, just normal heat and screen recorder works properly.... But i experience fast battery drain using data while playing mobile Legends
