I AM proud of you! I have such a hard time getting rid of anything.. When I look at my makeup, all I see are dollar signs. Money that, if saved, would have allowed us to retire. The pleasure I get from my 'collection' doesn't outweigh the guilt I feel that my husband, at nearly 75 years old, doesn't feel that he can retire! 😭 I have two preorders coming that I ordered in February and April. Other than that, I will buy nothing! I promised.. and I will keep that promise. I know that, at your age, retirement seems a lifetime away... but it comes quicker than you can imagine! I have heard that most foundations after sitting for a while will separate because of the different consistencies of ingredients in the formula so if you just shake it everything will mix back together kind of like nail polish. ❤️
Hi i have had eye surgery and later after my eyes had healed and chatting to my surgeon , he told me under no circumstances that was i to use any eye makeup after the age of the product 3 months , so now i buy mascara in travel sizes and eyeliners and discard them after three months , apparently he 😢 was telling me that what all ladies should do , so hence from now on all my eye liners be it they are expensive i use charlotte Tilbury , feline flick liner and charlottes mascara too but in travel sizes , so thats a big warning ! i certainly to want to suffer as i did when my eyes were healing .plus i have a special cleansing routine. if in doubt about your product throw it away. your sight is precious.
Just because your foundations are separating as they sit does not mean there expired 95 percent of foundations separate as they sit you just need to shake before use.

I bought the Mac Stack mascara a while ago and still haven't used it, I am trying to finish the last of my Bite Beauty mascara, before I move on to another mascara. So glad you got a chance to do a huge declutter, I always enjoy seeing videos of getting rid of makeup and declutters because it helps me get into the mood to do one for myself.

My Bite beauty mascara was dry and crusty by the time I decluttered it lol And yes- this declutter was lonngggg overdue. I've done several leading up to now but I'm always hesitant to throw things out-I needed to be a little more choosey with what I kept this time around. No sense in having a large makeup stash when up never have enough time in the year to use everything lol

please please please try to sell the powder products that you don't need. They don't expire after even 5 years and there are lots of people who would be glad to get a face palette for cheap price. You'll make them happy for sure

If you struggle with remembering when you opened a product, I have heard others say that a good way to organize that is you put some tape on the packaging and write the date you open it, and then you know when a product is expired. I tend to use a product until it is different in smell, texture, or application, but I have a smaller collection than you do, and tend to use things up. But everyone has their own comfort level with their collection size, and that's okay! I watched the other declutter video first, and I am so impressed with how ruthless you have been. Also, I have to say I really enjoy watching these videos, I am impressed that you managed to make such long declutter videos entertaining enough to watch through!

Hey girl hey! Glad to see you and LOVED this video! I declutter and go through my collection little by little, especially since I’m moving soon. But I don’t have the courage to ever film it 😂. Proud of you for doing this! What’s nice about decluttering is I have been able to put aside so many products (that were practically brand new or rarely touched) for my makeup kit for clients because I had such a large personal collection.
Glad to see you as well! I was so ready for this one lol it was long overdue. And I kept Telling myself that I was going to do makeup for people and then I just never did. So I had to get out of the mindset that I needed all these extra products to do makeup on people when I was never doing makeup on people lol I would still like to in the future but I had to get Is real with myself and just get rid of stuff that I knew I wasn't going to use and that was likely expired.. But I'm glad you found good use for the products that were in your personal collection that's awesome
@@MakeupwithMichelle I got in my own way for such a long time. I was so scared to do makeup on others because I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to match women who were lighter than me. But now that I have done a few faces, it was a lot easier than I thought. And having some amazing products already that I was able to transfer to a makeup kit was definitely a plus. I still did have to purchase some additional supplies (like foundation & concealer for lighter complexions, disposables and other products to keep sanitary. But I was surprised at how much rarely used and new makeup I really had 😂
That's my concern as well- well, that and Im only used to doing makeup on myself and my daughter lol doing it other skin types, tones, textures, etc is a different ball game. ..makes me nervous. I need to just get over it and do it lol

But the complexion I’m pretty comfortable with now and have a good idea on how to match others. It gets easier the more you do it. Now I can’t wait to someone else’s makeup!! I get in the zone!

I'd rather have that money to buy stuff I actually want- when I really analyzed what I was getting vs what I was using, I just wasn't getting good use out of much from my boxes. I don't regret quitting any of the boxes and I used to be subbed to 5 different ones at once-Boxy, Ipsy, Birchbox, Allure, and Sephora Play 😬

Hey sweet friend!!! Ugh....my ankle is MUCH better. It only hurts when I misstep or land on it funny, but my stomach....I wish I could say things are better. It's been a nightmare for the past few months. I'm going to film a Chatty grwm and update things. I go back to my GI dr next week, thankfully. It was easy getting rid of a lot of that stuff- so much of it has been needing to go for a long time. I just hate getting rid of stuff lol It sounds like you had a really nice day though! I'm glad to hear that. What's the weather like there? It's been pretty all over the place here. @@MakeupwithMichelle i know id is so good to get rid of things you honestly dont need, i do that to with some stuff other i project pan. im a bit of a closet hoarder so haha for me it takes a while and im so cheap that every product i declutter i think of what i used buying it haha. the weather here has been nice and warm for a few days 25+ celcius to 15+ celsius. but its nice to see the sun again and to get to start my vegetable garden again. oh yeah cant wait for the next video then, hope it comes soon wink wink. so sorry to hear about your stomach, its so bad to struggle with your stomach, have you tried to switch over to non dairy products? it helped me a lot. hope your gi gives you real help this time, ill cross my fingers and toes for you. good to hear the ancle is better. have a great day sweetie love ya
