I think in this context Us against the world thinking which still kinda fit. edit; as far as I remember Romeo and Juliet both families dont want them together which fits. but in romeo and juliet both families hate each other.
😂 sorry don't mean to laugh...this is a true tragedy..but ur comment was too funny 🤣..I love Romeo & Juliet when I was in highschool or was it middle school 🤔 ... regardless love Shakespeare..I get what you mean ❤
Excellent work Vinnie, as always. I love Court TV and your team. I live in France and you would Never, Ever, Never see this in France. Court Cam ? No way. Never Ever, There are no cameras in the courthouse in France, it's behind doors . Even the judge in Providence? Traffic judge? He's hilarious! Good work..❤.
As soon as I heard that she said she went to walk the dog right after telling her boyfriend not to do anything to her dad as he stormed in with a bat, I knew she was lying 🙄🤥 smdh
What's a horrible tragedy is that the law considers a guilty person who is being punished by being in prison as being in a cruel and unusual punishment situation!!!! Prison is not supposed to be fun!!!!!!!
Its all about the money, they don want to pay senior citizen prisoners living expenses and im guessing statistic shows teenage killers dont re-offend after many long years in prison.
I spent 10 years in prison, and I worked with her in the education building… She was definitely socially awkward, and a very strange individual.. very intelligent but so detached from life and empty of a soul!
My parents got divorced when I was 12. It all worked out fine. I started working at age 15 so I could buy things and not steal things. Duh. Working also kept me busy, along with going to school and being in gymnastics, so I didn't have any free time to just hang out, party and get into trouble. Busy bees are happy bees. 🐝 I have zero sympathy for these psychopathic killers. 🤡
"I'll be all alone soon in this place, so it's nice to hear from someone". That was actually sad. So many str8 guys allow that "Poison Kitty" to put them in that place, something I'm sure he's thought about over those decades now.
7/28/24 Courtney played Michael, I believe his statement. Both equally responsible for this crime! She used him to help get rid of her Dad! Stole, her Grandfather’s car (easy theft) evil smirk. Michael may of helped move him. Condolences, Steven, rip💔
We see this all the time when a young lady tries to act innocent. They change their voice to sound like a little girl . This behavior is seen watching DUI videos.
Whats with all the murders happening in Florida lately 😮...wasnt expecting to see the real image of her fathers deceased body on court TV ,.the legs 🦵🏻🦵🏻 got me off guard 😔😳😲🙈 shocking 😩
Why didn't the witness Friedman warn the police and Courtney's father of the mortal danger he was facing??! What's the point of talking afterwards??! He should have intervened sooner as he would have done any responsible adult!! By now Courtney's father would be alive and there wouldn't be two teenagers in prison for life!;
Romeo and Juliet??! but who??! They??! At the first interrogation they accused each other of the crime, each one blamed the other! If this is a great love??! It is an insult to compare these two subjects to Romeo and Juliet!!!
I suppose in a way they ended their own lives, at the very least paused them in a stage of tragedy...I'm a bit of a logophile so it's interesting to me how words and terms change and morph into the things they morph into it. Hi Nina!! 💞
That was weird of her to smirk before admitting to killing her father after the verdict maybe it was a nervous tick or something but very strange smh teenagers are so scary the way they fixate on their emotions especially when mad or angry, how could you actually want to kill your own parents in cold blood unless you’re being abused and snap 🫰
Her going from saying he did it at her trial, addressing the judge in admitted guilt, and later saying she did it at his trial was definitely a clown show .
That cop should not have said anything except your a minor we can’t talk about this. Since it was established she needed a parent or social worker. Why no body camera. That cop just made himself look bad. Her laughing could be a lot of things teens giggling could be nervousness or her saying that’s what he always said. That being allowed in to the court is surprising too.

If this were To Catch a Predator, and Michael, a 20 year old with a criminal record, showed up to meet a 16 year old girl, how would you view it differently? When that same minor is with that same guy when he kills her dad, do we really place full blame on the 16 year old? I fought to get this sentence commuted to 40 years, and I am proud of that. Courtney was a minor when this happened. Period. 40 years is a massive amount of time and still plenty enough punishment.
Courtney Christine Schulhoff killed her father by making his head into a baseball and she took the Louisville Slugger bat and transformed his head into a ball. Reasons why are that her father didn't like the boyfriend, Michael Morin who was 5 years older than her and she was only 16 at the time. Mike was either high or drunk. Some say she took the Louisville Slugger and bashed his head in. After his murder they took her father's pick up and went to McDonald's for food through the drive thru. She and Mike were planning on tossing his body off a bridge. She was convicted and sentenced to life without possibility of parole Which was later changed to 40 years.
I agree.. at first I thought okay, better than blurry re-enactments (which I hatehate - re enacting is not documenting. Documentaries with re enactments shouldn't be called docus imo..anyway), but now the illustrations make me think of "Kouri's" children's book... it generally downplays the seriousness of crimes imo. Idk.. what's next? True Crime Graphic Novels? Ugggh....
As an "adult" Michael shouldve known better, she was only 16, a very impressable age.....he should get death sentence, she life with parole.....just my humble opinion but i coukd be wrong......
7/28/24 Both life without Parole, she played him to get rid of her Dad. She wanted to be with Michael, 16 yr old girl can manipulate very well to be with boyfriend, imho

Not at all “Romeo and Juliet.” Doesn’t anyone read Shakespeare in high school any more!? 😭

Never have
It got banned because there’s no blacks or gays in it
@@malquid3811how if anyone knows Shakespeare, in the day, his plays were played by men, even the female parts.
This is so unfair that she may get out. She needs to be there for life just like him.

09:37 The appropriate title is something more like "when two snakes turn against each other"
I remember watching this story on Deadly Women. The daughter was super calculated and diabolical. So tragic.

Agreed! Prison is not a five ⭐️ hotel. And murdering your own father at such a young age does not mitigate the horrendous patricide. ⚖️
Unless its federal prison lol
I spent 10 years in prison, and I worked with her in the education building… She was definitely socially awkward, and a very strange individual.. very intelligent but so detached from life and empty of a soul!
Oh god, here we go with another case in Florida 🍿🫣

She tried to save her dad by taking the dog on a nice long walk 🤔
Hello from South Africa
What does it matter what she now says? Let the evidence speak for truth and justice. Let the evidence guide you to the truth.
"I'll be all alone soon in this place, so it's nice to hear from someone". That was actually sad. So many str8 guys allow that "Poison Kitty" to put them in that place, something I'm sure he's thought about over those decades now.
No human being "deserves this." It's an inhumane catchphrase
They didn't protect each other. They committed crimes.
I used to live at Crane’s Roost, crazy

Damn. Awesome intro.

This is beyond heartbreaking!
Never heard this one. 😮
Plsaee dont compare these spoiled brats to Romeo and Juliet.
We see this all the time when a young lady tries to act innocent.
They change their voice to sound like a little girl .
This behavior is seen watching DUI videos.
They tell deflection lies and play the victim.
That's where I live wow sad I'm missed you Vinny
😢 I stayed there w/my ex many years ago. Very familiar. . .heartbreaking . . .a father trying to protect a daughter he loved.😒
Just so happened to be a baseball bat in her dad's trunk, she told a bat was in the trunk. She lies.
Woah, Vinnie out of the studio?!

Courtney appears to be psychopathic 😮
A 16yr old, cannot be sentenced to life in prison without parole. She will get a re- sentencing hearing eventually
She was resentenced to 40 years in 2017
Good freaking grief!😮
Omg, I stayed there w/my ex for a brief time, years ago. Those apts are so close together, kind of tight personal space.
Glad neither of the defendants are related to me.
Why didn't the witness Friedman warn the police and Courtney's father of the mortal danger he was facing??! What's the point of talking afterwards??! He should have intervened sooner as he would have done any responsible adult!! By now Courtney's father would be alive and there wouldn't be two teenagers in prison for life!;
How is this Romeo and Juliet????
The intro , while good, is too long.
Just my opinion. Thanks for Al you do :)
More like Bonnie & Clyde than Romeo & Juliet
Romeo and Juliet??! but who??! They??! At the first interrogation they accused each other of the crime, each one blamed the other! If this is a great love??! It is an insult to compare these two subjects to Romeo and Juliet!!!
Steve, so sorry this happened to you. RIP God Bless you¹¹¹¹
She egged it on
@CourtTV Romeo & Juliet, seriously? 🙈 Read the story please

What a tragedy!!! Yes, so many lives ruined. 😤😤😤
I dont blame the dad for stepping in but forbidding isnt the way to go either....stolen fruit always tastes best......

28:06 if she can manipulate a seasoned Detective, what makes you think she can't do the same to her boyfriend??? It helps the prosecution imo
8:12 it looked like he handed her the bat😮

Sounds like she could’ve avoided all this if diagnosed with bipolar early on.
Why wasn't he a wittness
The new style of story telling jumping between to narrators and chalk drawn animation stills 😳 . Dizzying .
I just want to know where the food came from you make it look so good 🤤🤤😋😋
Vinnie ❤
Almost all of the men sound so hoarse here..
He is saying she beat her dad then handed him a bat.

He asks for bat? And she just so happens to know there is a bat in her dad's car trunk. She lies.
Damn
Diuble jeopardy still applied after she stated she killed her dad? Cant get dp herself?
