The Dragon Clan in the 2nd DLC is the mission you want to farm for the first draft of your dragon gear -- but after that, just put on luck drop equipped armor and clear any content you want while getting tons of drops. For early game, I'd run with whatever you think works, but crafing fuma gear and using kunai could be a good way to get ninja feels -- just run behind bosses and use storm kunai, or hit them in the back with regular kunai at range. My Way of the Samurai dual sword build guide video could be a good build to carry you through the new game cycles once you're in mid to late game.

i just started playing again and this is the build i’m trying :) I have a 750 purity switchglaive build using warrior of the east/izanagi’s but i wanted to replay through the game again
MEANT TO MENTION: Corruption on the dragon sword or falcon claws is impossible to Temper on at the blacksmith; it must be a drop from a killed enemy. It's basically a hidden star effect. Let me know if I missed anything else or if questions come to mind. Have a milky new year!^^
@@AkuuGamesYT hmm well medium and heavy armor makes things a lot easier, but you have to invest heavily in stamina so more of a late game concern. But the difference between 200+ toughness and sub 200 toughness is very noticeable--try to get to 200 toughness fast to make blocking and taking a hit or two more manageable
I am getting my ass kicked in Dream of the Strong… i can’t even touch Ren Hayabusa and im already lvl 205 … should i just keep leveling up?? I barely figured out that i was getting destroyed because i wasn’t soul matching my gear…
@@escobargameslatam the game forces to use a stat called "Melee vs poison" and most builds don't start as ninjasu because ninjasu is weak until dream of the nioh. you start them as magic build and then you convert your magic into ninjasu build. this one in particular which is total pain to get. especially his amulets which have "Melee vs corruption" AND "-1 set requirement". Also since, it is ninjasu, you can't roll unlimited ninjasu on certain accessories so it is even MORE specific for what accessories your allowed to use as ninjasu build.

I went 200 magic instead of 200 skill cos, I kinda feel like getting 1 ninjutsu point every 5 (or 10) points wasn't really appealing to me and ultimate skill is meh, but everything else is almost the same of your guide and for that I wanna say thankyou, idk if I would have come this far into the abyss if wasn't for that! Anyways with that said, I've been curious, is it possible to get a Scrolls of the Damned, before beating the 100 floors of abyss (like via friends or something) or not really? No, not possible to get a scroll of the damned before finishing underworld afaik -- not 100% sure. Their used to be a glitch but it got patched I think. Omoikane is great. The damage is really nice, and if you have 200 magic it could fit your build like a dream. Might be worth a shot! Hope you have a happy new year too. Have fun and lmk if more questions come to mind.
Hoping I’m not too late to the party, but I managed to complete new game and have started a smidge of new game plus. Though I knew hayabusa showed up in the games dlc at some point, so I grinded through the second one and got to him. Took me AWHILE because for some reason he just wouldn’t drop greaves, but I grinded out all his gear on divine rarity. I’m currently level 182 but I can easily make it 200 hundred flat. I was kinda just wondering how I should even out my levels rn? I know this build is super high leveled so I understand if there’s no much advice that can be given but I would like this to be my build going forth sooo it would be much appreciate if I can get a tip or two.. or three

Way of the wise or way of the nioh are prolly the best times to farm it up unfortunately I have some other build guides that might work but you might be able to just scrape by with a scuff build using coop when stuck until way of the wise And thank you very much for sub and support!!!:D
I have been trying to build this, I just can't get the anima bonus on ninjitsu hit to roll on a core lol. Also have been working with making it a partial poison build
your suppose start the game as poison build. the first thing you need farm is toxic poison slim core and you put melee vs poisoned on your jewellery. then you need find "Lucky armor" and "Lucky weapons" amulets to start farming for what one of the most painful farming experiences ever. you have find an amulet that has *MELEE VS corruption* and the most painful farm wbich an amulet with 3 Stupid *** effects. they need to be *Melee vs corrupted *-1 set bonus *Sloth on hit). these 2 amulets are SUPER cancer to find because when you get to dream of the nioh, the game is balanced for you to ALREADY have these affixes and if you don't have them, it is ultra hard to actually farm/play the game without these affixes. You will feel like ultra underpowered. it was easily the thing that completely turns me off from finishing nioh 2.

With only 10 heart are you able to effectively use the fists? I would assume you would run out of stamina immediately. Pls correct me if I'm wrong and sorry if this is a noob question.
Somewhat.. you can get around it by stacking TONS of ki regen tho. 450 ki regen at base with a ki regen onmyo buff or off a guardian spirit or something will solve your ki problems!

Hey bro, How do you get high level gear like that? I know soul matching and stuff but does that mean youd have to upgrade your dragon sword with a material better then the dragon sword? So that it become level 200? And also how do u get plus 200+
I've recently started this game and just got to chapter two (I beat the snake with two arms) and wanted to know how I could make this build real early. Pretty sure I'm level 30 or something so could you give a run down on what I should aim for every 50 levels?
This is a level 750 build so it's not really early game friendly. You can't start making it until the second DLC. If you want something similar I'd try either my way of the strong ninja turtle build (not way of the nioh or way of the wise), or PWAR gaming's ninja king build. Sorry I can't be more help... I will say Fuma ninja gear and kunai will get you through your first playthrough easily, at least for bosses. You should be able to craft it when you get to the second or third map, or maybe at the first map too.
His Ninja Turtle (Dual Sword) build are great to follow. I simple use the 4 X Yoriki Armor we can craft and Nanan Armor Chest we can craft when needed. After i put point into Stamina and strength for that. So I have Agility B. I go for 16 point in Magic & Dexterity (that what i need to have what i needed) I then got 10 point into Constitution, Heart, Courage. Then i go for 30 point into Magic & Dexterity. Then i put point into what i think i needed. I use what every Dual Sword that have highest damage on it. Got me well into to NG+ before change armor to full veteran armor set. And craft me a good Dual Sword. And having no problems in NG+ Kindly.

Right now, my stats are Constitution: 15 Heart: 6 Courage: 15 Stamina: 5 Strength: 6 Skill: 30 for whatever reason Dexterity: 40 Magic: 11 And A in agility. Any thoughts on this so far I'm also using a lot of throwing items with magic on the side but I don't really get to see magic as much as I want to.

But 30 Magic give me 5 x Barrier Talisman, 4 x Purification Talisman, 4 x Stel Talisman, 4 x Extraction Talisman, 4 x Archyokai Talisman And 30 Dexterity give me 2 x Quick-Change, 6 x Shadow Arts: Flaming Heron, 6 x Shadow Arts: Yaroka Water, 6 x Shadow Arts: Raijin For me this is what i NEED/Want (Aiming for 50 point in Magic & Dexterity in NG+) But looking at your stats i think you have to be using light armor ? I dont like light armor, I like to be able to take a few ekstra hits as i way to slow at my age. To dodge, block, parrying every thing, That why i use the armor setup i type early. You need around 20-22 Stamina and 10 Strength to use the Armor setup. (To stay in Agility B) I like it as the 4 X Yoriki Armor give me Auto Recovery (Enemy killed) 12.3 % X 4 armor. I all so use Toyotomi Clan for the Life Recovery (Amrita Absorption) 50 (30) and Amrita Loot Bonus 25% (15%) That and my Magic Talisman keep me alive, I all so have Life Recovery (Amrita Absorption) on my chest and 2 Accessory. The Dexterity Feathers do massive Damage Vs zero ki enemy, And all so good damage if enemy still have ki, Learn to cancel the cast animation. I have a screen shot from when i was level 100, That what i have. Constitution: 10 Heart: 10 Courage: 20 Stamina: 22 Strength: 10 Skill: 10 Dexterity: 30 Magic: 30 From that point i start to focus on point in my weapon (Dual Sword) some point in Heart and Courage to help with my KI. In NG+ 10 Constitution is enough for me to stay alive, But maybe later or in NG++ i need more. Please remember that what work for me, Not saying this is the way to do things. Kindly

I did life and ki at first, but then did ki and attack.. I did squeeze a bunch more atk between that and soul core farming for +66 atk IF you wanna go nuts minmaxing I did enough ki recovery for 450 and did all atk after that. But life was good when I was making more mistakes and has great returns. I’d say go with what you feel like you need most for focus leveling. It’s not hard to change later
So I recently got a ps5 and got the upgrade to nioh 2 remastered (I played the original release but never did any of the dlc). I'm starting to push my way through the underworld I'm around lvl 455 and at underworld 27 I was using nekomata for most of it and relying on my personal dodge for everything. But I was wondering instead of onryoki why not replace that with kasha for a bit more constant pressure and damage? You have hag which does negate grabs and I understand using it for damage reduction but can't it roll on a hag core as well?
@@LeagueofMilk fair enough, I will say I rolled a amazing Enenra with damage reduction. I assume you know this but enenra damage is considered physical and channeled so it refills your ninjutsu stupidly fast as well as gives you a TON of healing and makes you immune to grabs. @@LeagueofMilk you can get a yasakani even before the end of dream of the strong. They drop in all the dlc's on way of the samurai. And can also be farmed from guaranteed accessorie spawns.
I have one way of the wise build that’s good for 650; the second ninja turtle video For lvl 200, those will drop once n a while on way of the nioh. You can just keep soul matching until you get 200 plus 120 for all gear but you need to get to the underworld

Start doing underworld levels once you hit way of the nioh, check my how to get OP fast in the underworld video to help the grind, and just keep soul matching and upgrading your gear
I have a Question, is Yumehami a must have ? I really like Ho-oH for the special Move and more Place for Soul cores. And i have on my Soul Cores (Anima Bonus - Ninjintsu)
Longshot but, what would you recommend doing if I wanted to lpay this build through all dreams? I just picked the game back up after having beaten NG like a year ago, and I saw this set in game so I googled builds. Seeing this, obviously a lot of this is out of reach at lvl 150, but I'm curious which part I should focus on the most as I'm leveling it.
Hm good question. It’s tough to really get this working great before dream of the wise.. But sacrificing a bit of hayabusa to get 200 toughness, Honda clan, and focus on constitution should make things easy until you get a yasakani. Then you should be able to go full set plus 200 toughness!
@@LeagueofMilk Interesting, thanks for the insight - any missions or items you recommend looking for in the mean time? I did a baby version of this build and I find the damage is great, but it's extremely hard to keep up the pressure unless I just gamble and guess right, ki and anima can't keep up with the enemies. I can instakill with ninjutsu if I can manage to exhaust an enemy but outside of that it's a very slow and patient approach with a lot of mashing roll to create space. I'm not really familiar with what core components make up a build, and how to acquire them, this early on. I've had some people recommend going confusion status and using cores that boost anima and damage vs confused enemies, but I don't even know how to apply it besides talismans. Also any recommendation for guides on the actual combat systems? I find sometimes I can just maul an enemy to death and other times (way of the warrior veteran dojo trial for example), I can't seem to identify why the enemy is able to immediately respond with huge strings despite using stronger attacks on their guards.
@@LeagueofMilk I did realize that however I'm trying to make the build work on the first playthrough, although its prolly not smart, because it looks so cool and realized all the investment into magic is hurting me cause my weapon scaling it getting nothing off of it so I wanted to limit my omnyo and focus more on DeX and skill.😅
How do you get ethereal plus sets past thirty plus and what floors are good for farming maricas grace? Also my gear level is only 190 how do get that to go higher?
I do t remember the floors, I just Google a Reddit thread. Level 200 gear is random but drops eventually so you can soul match it eventually. Same for getting sets above 30👍
Yes but your build has a omamori and prayer beads, not the Yasakani magatama. Are you saying you can get the Yasakani magatama effect rolled onto other accessories?

Unfortunately this build won’t work until dream of the wise when Marici grace becomes available.. it’s rly endgame focused BUT I did make a ninja build for dream of strong. Try searching dream of strong ninja turtle!
Kurama sword dance is the only must have imo True and thru is a really good opener tho Just boost to your taste. I usually change between pure damage or more quality of lofe
I'm watching all of these builds for this set and Ren pissed me off so bad I was screaming and even screaming at my dog because it barked and it threw my focus off at very little health for both Hayabusa and myself and after so many tries I finally killed him and I went back in immediately after to get the rest of his armor and I kill him first try....Now comes the grind for the two skills I don't have I'm waiting until after I'm done with ng+ before doing that
For the first playthru, I wouldn't worry about power leveling too much, just clear the sidemissions and you'll be fine. After that, I'd recommend coop instead of just pure grinding solo b/c a lot of unique items drop in coop for visitors, particularly in the later difficulties.
Only part of the build will work before way of the wise! So I would just make a build incorporating some of the ideas with your own take until dream of the wise or even dream of the nioh when farming gets easier with scrolls and ethereal drop rate increases

Hitting the abyss directly before dream of the nioh can help a lot - I wait till like +45-50 gear to do story missions

Soul matching and +xx gear is smth you only need to worry about much later on!
How do you get these skills on the gear though? I love crafting builds in Stranger of Paradise, but never bothered to do so in Nioh until now
The best way is targeted farming in the abyss for marici or ryu hayabusa afaik

Why did you max out Skill to 200? I use sword and you too. Am i missing something?
For the extra ninjutsu that equates to extra attack power thanks to the grace iirc. Just mod your sword to scale off skill and dex, and you’re golden
I've recently started this game and just got to chapter two (I beat the snake with two arms) and wanted to know how I could make this build real early. Pretty sure I'm level 30 or something so could you give a run down on what I should aim for every 50 levels?
This is a level 750 build so it's not really early game friendly. You can't start making it until the second DLC. If you want something similar I'd try either my way of the strong ninja turtle build (not way of the nioh or way of the wise), or PWAR gaming's ninja king build.
Sorry I can't be more help... I will say Fuma ninja gear and kunai will get you through your first playthrough easily, at least for bosses. You should be able to craft it when you get to the second or third map, or maybe at the first map too.
His Ninja Turtle (Dual Sword) build are great to follow.
I simple use the 4 X Yoriki Armor we can craft and Nanan Armor Chest we can craft when needed.
After i put point into Stamina and strength for that. So I have Agility B.
I go for 16 point in Magic & Dexterity (that what i need to have what i needed)
I then got 10 point into Constitution, Heart, Courage.
Then i go for 30 point into Magic & Dexterity.
Then i put point into what i think i needed.
I use what every Dual Sword that have highest damage on it.
Got me well into to NG+ before change armor to full veteran armor set.
And craft me a good Dual Sword.
And having no problems in NG+

Constitution: 15
Heart: 6
Courage: 15
Stamina: 5
Strength: 6
Skill: 30 for whatever reason
Dexterity: 40
Magic: 11
And A in agility.
Any thoughts on this so far
I'm also using a lot of throwing items with magic on the side but I don't really get to see magic as much as I want to.

I am no expert, not even close...
But 30 Magic give me 5 x Barrier Talisman, 4 x Purification Talisman, 4 x Stel Talisman, 4 x Extraction Talisman, 4 x Archyokai Talisman
And 30 Dexterity give me 2 x Quick-Change, 6 x Shadow Arts: Flaming Heron, 6 x Shadow Arts: Yaroka Water, 6 x Shadow Arts: Raijin
For me this is what i NEED/Want (Aiming for 50 point in Magic & Dexterity in NG+)
But looking at your stats i think you have to be using light armor ?
I dont like light armor, I like to be able to take a few ekstra hits as i way to slow at my age.
To dodge, block, parrying every thing, That why i use the armor setup i type early.
You need around 20-22 Stamina and 10 Strength to use the Armor setup. (To stay in Agility B)
I like it as the 4 X Yoriki Armor give me Auto Recovery (Enemy killed) 12.3 % X 4 armor.
I all so use Toyotomi Clan for the Life Recovery (Amrita Absorption) 50 (30) and Amrita Loot Bonus 25% (15%)
That and my Magic Talisman keep me alive, I all so have Life Recovery (Amrita Absorption) on my chest and 2 Accessory.
The Dexterity Feathers do massive Damage Vs zero ki enemy, And all so good damage if enemy still have ki, Learn to cancel the cast animation.
I have a screen shot from when i was level 100, That what i have.
Constitution: 10
Heart: 10
Courage: 20
Stamina: 22
Strength: 10
Skill: 10
Dexterity: 30
Magic: 30
From that point i start to focus on point in my weapon (Dual Sword) some point in Heart and Courage to help with my KI.
In NG+ 10 Constitution is enough for me to stay alive, But maybe later or in NG++ i need more.
Please remember that what work for me, Not saying this is the way to do things.

this my goal build now but what about focus level points? life, attack, ki, luck where you put points or does it matter?
I did life and ki at first, but then did ki and attack.. I did squeeze a bunch more atk between that and soul core farming for +66 atk IF you wanna go nuts minmaxing
I did enough ki recovery for 450 and did all atk after that. But life was good when I was making more mistakes and has great returns. I’d say go with what you feel like you need most for focus leveling. It’s not hard to change later
So I recently got a ps5 and got the upgrade to nioh 2 remastered (I played the original release but never did any of the dlc). I'm starting to push my way through the underworld I'm around lvl 455 and at underworld 27 I was using nekomata for most of it and relying on my personal dodge for everything. But I was wondering instead of onryoki why not replace that with kasha for a bit more constant pressure and damage? You have hag which does negate grabs and I understand using it for damage reduction but can't it roll on a hag core as well?
I don’t think it can roll that damage reduction mid attack. The value of that on onryoki is crazy good imho
@@LeagueofMilk fair enough, I will say I rolled a amazing Enenra with damage reduction. I assume you know this but enenra damage is considered physical and channeled so it refills your ninjutsu stupidly fast as well as gives you a TON of healing and makes you immune to grabs. Yasakani magatama accessory effect! Don’t leave home without it after clearing way of the strong :)
@@LeagueofMilk you can get a yasakani even before the end of dream of the strong. They drop in all the dlc's on way of the samurai. And can also be farmed from guaranteed accessorie spawns.
what built should i use for level 650? so i wont have problem on 1v1 and how do i find or collect level 200 (+120) armors an weapons? from

For lvl 200, those will drop once n a while on way of the nioh. You can just keep soul matching until you get 200 plus 120 for all gear but you need to get to the underworld

Start doing underworld levels once you hit way of the nioh, check my how to get OP fast in the underworld video to help the grind, and just keep soul matching and upgrading your gear

How do you get 7+ on Dragon Ninja and 6 on a grace? Isn't a set requirement-1 non-stackable?
-1 is not stackable, yea. I think I might have 5 piece marici, I don’t remember specifically and lost my ps5 :/

Longshot but, what would you recommend doing if I wanted to lpay this build through all dreams? I just picked the game back up after having beaten NG like a year ago, and I saw this set in game so I googled builds. Seeing this, obviously a lot of this is out of reach at lvl 150, but I'm curious which part I should focus on the most as I'm leveling it.
Hm good question. It’s tough to really get this working great before dream of the wise.. But sacrificing a bit of hayabusa to get 200 toughness, Honda clan, and focus on constitution should make things easy until you get a yasakani. Then you should be able to go full set plus 200 toughness!
@@LeagueofMilk Interesting, thanks for the insight - any missions or items you recommend looking for in the mean time? I did a baby version of this build and I find the damage is great, but it's extremely hard to keep up the pressure unless I just gamble and guess right, ki and anima can't keep up with the enemies. I can instakill with ninjutsu if I can manage to exhaust an enemy but outside of that it's a very slow and patient approach with a lot of mashing roll to create space. I'm not really familiar with what core components make up a build, and how to acquire them, this early on. I've had some people recommend going confusion status and using cores that boost anima and damage vs confused enemies, but I don't even know how to apply it besides talismans.
Also any recommendation for guides on the actual combat systems? I find sometimes I can just maul an enemy to death and other times (way of the warrior veteran dojo trial for example), I can't seem to identify why the enemy is able to immediately respond with huge strings despite using stronger attacks on their guards.

That’s worth a shot for sure imo but it is a very costly core
@@LeagueofMilk I did realize that however I'm trying to make the build work on the first playthrough, although its prolly not smart, because it looks so cool and realized all the investment into magic is hurting me cause my weapon scaling it getting nothing off of it so I wanted to limit my omnyo and focus more on DeX and skill.😅
How do you get ethereal plus sets past thirty plus and what floors are good for farming maricas grace? Also my gear level is only 190 how do get that to go higher?
I do t remember the floors, I just Google a Reddit thread. Level 200 gear is random but drops eventually so you can soul match it eventually. Same for getting sets above 30👍

I’m not understanding how you go A toughness and you have no toughness on any of your armor. I stuck at 172 toughness and have some starred toughtness

does Falcon Claws still do a good amount of damage? because does fist not scale on strength ?
Yeah claws get a base atk value buff over fists so they always do more damage on most builds at least. Fist do more ki damage tho👍

Probably both with dex and magic sprinkled in steadily on occasion

yasakani magatama effect on one of my accessories reduces set bonus by 1 -- very critical accessory effect for any build!
Yes but your build has a omamori and prayer beads, not the Yasakani magatama. Are you saying you can get the Yasakani magatama effect rolled onto other accessories?

That's from the underworld -- it's on the left side above the twilight missions! There are 108 floors... and even more endgame content after that

Not personally but it’s still a good option. Losing the chest piece and 200 toughness will hurt survival and blocking ability a lot

I just played through the missions mostly! Try doing coop-it’s the best way to farm mats n xp imo

Unfortunately this build won’t work until dream of the wise when Marici grace becomes available.. it’s rly endgame focused

It’s possible that effect might not roll in demon. It might be worthwhile to push to wise or even nioh

I'm watching all of these builds for this set and Ren pissed me off so bad I was screaming and even screaming at my dog because it barked and it threw my focus off at very little health for both Hayabusa and myself and after so many tries I finally killed him and I went back in immediately after to get the rest of his armor and I kill him first try....Now comes the grind for the two skills I don't have I'm waiting until after I'm done with ng+ before doing that

Hm probably 30 dex 50 con for practicality, stamina for sub 70% equip load, then free points wherever

What’s the fastest way to level up
For the first playthru, I wouldn't worry about power leveling too much, just clear the sidemissions and you'll be fine. After that, I'd recommend coop instead of just pure grinding solo b/c a lot of unique items drop in coop for visitors, particularly in the later difficulties.
How you get dragon ninja+ I'm confused

Only part of the build will work before way of the wise! So I would just make a build incorporating some of the ideas with your own take until dream of the wise or even dream of the nioh when farming gets easier with scrolls and ethereal drop rate increases
