That play where the punt rebounded off the blocker’s butt was a safety (two points and possession for the other team) because it went out of the back of the end zone. Going over, under, or through the goal posts wouldn’t have any effect.
I think if it goes through the goal post it should be a 3 point.

Jerry Jones (aka the Emperor Palpatine of the NFL) is technically from Arkansas, but he was always a big Cowboys fan because they're in the same region and share a media market. And yes, he has been "outspoken" to the point where someone dug up a picture of him as a high school student allegedly blocking the front door to prevent racial integration lmao

Jerry Jones is not only the Cowboys’ owner, but he’s also their general manager (which for most teams is separate boss in charge of the football team personnel, coaches, etc.)
He’s not as hands-on, “my way or the highway” in the team make-up as he was in younger days, but he’s the ultimate decision maker in ALL things Cowboys.
And our biggest prob why we won't ever get past the Divisional round lol Got spoiled growing up in the 90s

I'm a Detroit guy, so I was a bit spoiled too in the 90's (at a _much_ lower level) with Barry, mostly winning seasons, and ONE playoff victory (against y'all)!
Since then - bubkes! (Well, almost ONE playoff win, again against y'all, but we don't need to discuss that 😉)

It is a shame that Dave's 1st full game is the Super Bowl, game takes a backseat to the spectacle and in my opinion it drags a bit don't get me wrong it is a great event but the production is geared to attract non football fans because football fans will watch no matter what and TV produces a show for the casual fan
Jerry Jones is correct, Cowboys owner. He is an Arkansas alum, name on a ton of their buildings for donations. Pays for Arkansas to play a football game every year in his stadium (Cowboys aka Jerry World).

Jerry Jones is the owner of the Cowboys, he is known to be outspoken, but the truth is he hasn't said anything controversial in almost 10 yrs now, the 90s and early 2000s were his talking days. Cowboy fans fell to realize, he actually doing a good job as an owner, he all his top players are players he drafted especially on defense, which is rare in nfl. He signs the checks, he paid dak when he didn't want to, the fans did (they know they did). He generates top revenue for the team also. The issue are the guys he has as playcallers, he hires bad coaches, particularly on offense.

The used to use stick em’ in the nfl in the 60’s, and 70’s but they outlawed it soon after. MLB uses pine tar or stick em’ on the baseball bats. They are covered in brown tar to help you hold on to the bat so you see that in sports shops. But you can’t use the pine yet in the NFL Anymore

Um Dave, that was a very dumb question. But if the defense picks up a fumble or interception and they run across their own goaline it is a safety. The other team gets two points and the defensive team has to kick the ball to the other team.

It happens, most of the time it's finager jams. That's why the lineman in particular wrap their wrists and fingers in tape. O have "fond" memories of finger pain back in the day 😂 its usually a play on injury though.
Most fingers just get dislocated. Good thing about that is that you can just pop in back in place right then and there so its not a big deal.
Intermittent fasting DOES NOT help lose weight, Dave... I only say this cuz I have gotten to really like you over the past couple years. Intermittent fasting just slows down your metabolism during the fasting hours, then when you Do eat, your body keeps Every Calorie, and stores it as fat because your body thinks you are going thru hard times without food.... plz dont do that... you will GAIN WEIGHT if anything, plus it is likely to cause other health issues like type 2 diabetes... plz stop, Dave... from a true fan...
