A lot of people already pointed out that the Silver Scream and Welcome to Horrorwood are based on horror films but the previous album "Every Trick in the Book" is all based on literature. Really great band!
Now you see why I said this is my favorite band. They are sooooooo good.

I’ve been dying to See You React to this band cos their director is the same as falling in Reverse! So excited to watch this! They do homage to horror movies mostly and spencer (the singer) is such a good actor in em. They actually create a storyline if you watch them in order. In case you were wondering assault and batteries is the next installment!
Or if you want one not about movies. They have one i think you will like is nature of the beast!but its not part of the movie-storyline
As others have said, they do these songs and weave them into part of their own overarching story and lore. Its a deep dive if you decide to take it, but endlessly satisfying.
The guy playing Paul singing some parts is Jacoby Shaddix from the band Papa Roach, and yes they do albums with every song is inspired and based on a different horror movie or book
For the last two albums every song is a take on a horror film. Ice Nine Kills is amazing! They have some real bangers! The Crow, Pet Cemetery, Friday the 13th, etc. So good.
Their music is all horror-themed and their videos are incredible. They are a really talented band and I am absolutely here for your future reactions of ice nine kills!!!!
This isn't a one off, for years now they delved into mixing metal with horror movies. So as a videographer, I would imagine you would love the music and videos they make as homage to horror movies. Their videos are so well done, it's unreal, and the music matches the movies, as does their take on the movies with the videos. I am seeing them live in August, so have been listening to them a lot recently! In another post I'll suggest some songs and what movies they correspond to, though they have no bad songs from what I've heard! Great reaction and now subbed! They have 2 full albums that are what they call Horror-Core. Metalcore based on famous horror movies. Even their live shows are totally themed around the horror movies. Try Rainy Days. American Nightmare, The Shower Scene, and more.

All their music videos are like this. For the last two albums, each album has a whole story line and plays like a movie in itself. Most of their videos are of this caliber honestly, especially those from Silver Scream 2 (Hip to Be Scared, Assault and Batteries, Rainy Day, Funeral Derangements,The Shower Scene, Welcome to Horrorwood, Meet and Greet). The first Silver Scream album order is American Nightmare, Thank God It's Friday, A Grave Mistake, Stabbing in the Dark, IT is the End, and Your Number's Up. If you want to listen to something without a basis in a movie or a book (every trick in the book is this album) I recommend The Fastest Way to a Girls Heart is Through Her Ribcage.
Literally seeing them for the first time with "In This Moment" on August 9th. Figured I'd be seeing them live, might as well get acquainted with their music. Heard of them but never heard them so have been deep diving in their selections and really upset with myself for missing this band.

The album that sold me on them was Every Trick in the Book which is all based on famous books.
Then they dropped the silver scream 1 & 2 which were just brilliant

Haha.. finding one not based on a movie.... yeeeeea... their past 2 albums are all horror movie based, FANTASTIC music videos by the way and very good if you know the horror movies and get all the lines and nods to the movie they throw in.
One thing to note is even in their heavier songs, they're know for their catchy choruses, so even though heavy isn't my vibe, I still find myself singing along to their songs and getting them stuck in my head.
Grave Mistake is one of my faves, probably their least heavy song. (The Crow)
Rainy Day is also not super heavy (compared to their other songs) based on Resident Evil, but more the games than the movies
These 3 are must watches in my opinion. Cinematics are great, but quite heavy, but all good with very catchy choruses. They're some of their more recent songs/videos-

well, if you want something that's not movie related, there's my favorite which is The Nature of the Beast, but it's based on a book: Animal Farm. they have a Punk Goes Pop cover of Animals by Maroon 5 you might be interested in. they have a fun parody called Jason's Mom. really you can't go wrong with any of their songs, but most of them are either based on movies or books. Or both. anyway, great reaction.
