I’ve had great success with delta silver from the delta business credit cards. 14 delta flights and 8 upgrades! Note: I’m traveling from a smaller airport and not a delta hub However many upgrades have occurred even when I was in ATL or MSP
With all the CC stuff going on in Congress it will be interesting to see how it impacts all of this. Also, if any of these services charge a fee to use your CC to pay your bill, it's not worth it.
For sure, I’m interested to see if anything will happen, and then can talk about the effects etc. Thanks Texan for being here, I know I will hit that news if/when it comes ha!
2025 is gonna bring a lot of interesting changes to the credit card space! This video was a great way to start the week without feeling like I missed out on any big updates haha. Thanks for keeping us informed Tony!
I did the Barclays & Hawaii one purchase SUBs recently. Easy peasy! I’ll wait to get the Citi Strata until AA is confirmed as a transfer partner though. No need to rush if they have a 10 year contract.
Nice video Anthony. I was targeted as Hilton Diamond for 6 Months Delta Silver status, although out of Miami, AA is my preferred airline. Very interesting the Announcement of Citi / AA partnership and how that evolves, especially with Strata Premier cardholders and rumored premium card.
I suppose I should try for Delta upgrades, but I always worry that I won't get the upgrade and no first class seats will still be available for purchase.
My wife and I just applied for the Barclays AAdvantage card on this news. We've already got a card AAdvantage with Citi. I'm thinking I'll likely be denied but if we get it 60,000 miles will be worth it.
I received a upgrade offer from the Delta Gold to the Delta Platinum it a Big fee from Gold to Platinum still thinking I’m not sure I Love my Delta Gold weighting on what Make sense
Citi and their CS operations suck though. One or two minor complaints here and there are outliers, but you see it’s common to see people have so many issues with them. Maybe it’s stilk worth it to deal with them for the initial bonus, but don’t know about long term.
I think they are pretty good too, Wyndham just had that change coming soon where you can’t match to Cesar’s diamond anymore unfortunately. Jet blue I like, I’ll need to look more into it. Thanks Vicki as always!
Hi there! How often do cards go away like the Barclays cards or the Hawiian airline card? I’m unsure if it’s worth to go for cards like these or keep my 5/24 chase card slots available. I’m active military if that helps think through any variables and have opened 2 of 5 cards in the last 24 months- one of them being the Chase Sapphire Reserve and AMEX Gold
Not often, since it can really only happen in this way when mergers happen, which isn’t often. Tough to say based on how you travel, I’d imagine you can get a lot of other cards, even business cards that don’t count towards 5/24, but cards nonetheless than can do better than this card. However I found value in it, and I was 1/24 when applying so worth while enough for me I think. Thanks MM! 🫡
I can't wait for Bilt to start accepting Mortgage payments. I rent AND I have a mortgage (rental property). That's double the points that will get me to the next status, faster! Yayyy
I think they can be, I think Citi AA will be the talk of the town come a year from now etc. Bilt, just their program is enough personally, but the card can come in handy and will maybe get better over time. Thanks Neno and Random!
Is Barclays hard pull sensitive? I'm under 5/24 but have 8 or 9? HP. Would you go back over 5/24 for this Chase has my Mortgage. I dont see them making it easy for built. The delta status offering ends for most before the summer travel season.
If it’s any consolation, my hard pulls are about 3 for each bureau. I don’t think they are too inquiry sensitive, they seemed to be fairly leinent, but you never know. Personally though, I probably wouldn’t go back over 5/24 for this card unless you knew for sure you’d easily get great value from these 70k. But if just a have to have and pts later, maybe hold off until maybe mid year when I bet this cards starts merging over etc. It’s possible, I guess we’ll see for Bilt. Ahh yeah that’s a good point, too bad I wasn’t targeted though. Thanks Bill man as always!
@@AnthonyVenturehonestly not really… it only gets 1x on almost everything. But the free baggage and companion pass for TWO other passengers has been pretty dope. I always say I’ll get rid of it then never do. I also had to be invited to get the silver… you can’t just apply for it on your own…so I feel bad getting rid of it
I received a upgrade offer from the Delta Gold to the Delta Platinum it a Big fee from Gold to Platinum still thinking I’m not sure I Love my Delta Gold weighting on what Make sense
getting the platinum straight out is a better play with more points if you have room in your Amex lineup (typically can have 5 credit cards with Amex max). Then cancel the other as long as after a year open. I have the business gold and have gotten multiple upgrade offers but for $1k more spend I can get way more points getting card directly instead of upgrading.
Yeah I agree with 412, better to get the double or triple miles for applying for the card instead of upgrading I think. Then as 412 said, just cancel one of them next year etc. Thanks Ant man! And thanks 412! 🫡

Dangggg, powerful Key! You were in mind when thinking through this actually.
Thanks Key!!
I got the delta gold targeted offer!

Absolutely 💯! Haha I know right, so many different things happening!
Thanks Spencer for being here man!!

That status match is clutch 😎
It for sure is! Thanks Calby man!

That’s what I originally thought too, but talking to enough people with silver, I was like ok yeah there’s something big here ha.
Thanks Paul man!

Make sense
I’m still weighting it out that A/F is a little to heavy rite now with
My other Amex A/F cards
But thxz for the break Down
Only if had player Two .
Silly question, is there a card to pay property tax and get points?
No card specifically I don’t think, but I’d just get a card with a good welcome offer and use that card for the taxes!
Thanks BangPaulxu!
Thanks for the info + video!
Thanks for being here Jimmy James!
So you can use Rate for lending and Bilt for real estate agent? Potential stacking possibility?

I didn’t get targeted for the Delta offer. Reached out to Hilton to see if I could get targeted. Didn’t work lol
Damn haha, I wasn’t either 😂
Thanks John ha!
What about jet blue and Wyndham credit cards from barclay? Great job on UA-cam ♥️
I think they are pretty good too, Wyndham just had that change coming soon where you can’t match to Cesar’s diamond anymore unfortunately.
Jet blue I like, I’ll need to look more into it.

10000%! That’s going to open up a whole world of crazy for us haha!
Thanks Angie!
Is these cards worth a Chase 5/24 slot
Yes
I think they can be, I think Citi AA will be the talk of the town come a year from now etc.
Bilt, just their program is enough personally, but the card can come in handy and will maybe get better over time.
Thanks Neno and Random!
Hey Anthony how are bro where have you been . Nice news on CITI cards im Using Citi in place of chase card cuz I’m still in chase jail lock up
I’ve been good man, you as well?
Absolutely, haha, it’s 23 hour lockdown for 5/24 folks 😂
Thanks Ant and nice seeing you as always!

oh shit, u no longer in the car?
😬 Cam I’m sorry. 😬
Wow! Guess I gotta keep my SILVER aviator master card. LFG Anthony!!!!
I wonder how long Barclays will still let you product change before Citi takes over their AA portfolio.
Haha let’s gooo! Yeah, you like that card LEIT?
Thanks as always LEIT and Vincent!

Citi cards earn better than SOME Chase cards? They’ve earned better than almost all Chase cards 🤣
True haha. That’s a good point 😂
Thanks Travis for being here ha!
First 🥇
Appreciate you Doc man!!
Not targeted 👎🏼😂
