Always ask and always try, because what's the worst that could possibly happen? No? well move on - on to the next one! This is actually down the road for me, it's way too early to be looking for sponsors, but I will come back to this vid when ( and if) I get to that place! I'm still in the brainstorming phase of what I want my content to be! I need to narrow down my thought process! Passion, that's the operative word!
Something I've noticed about the whole "just ASK" thing you mentioned, like about the hotel advertisements for cheaper or free rooms, another thing to add to that, and honestly in all of the different ways of getting a hold of these companies, is not just to ask, but be CONFIDENT! A lot of people think "Why isn't this working? I'm asking all over the place.." But that person also has very little confidence, and asks shyly, or undercuts themselves by saying like "Well I know I'm small right now and you might not be up for it, but [question]?" And that's more likely to get your turned away because they don't believe you can actually do it because it sounds like you doubt yourself. Anyway, love your guys' videos. Very helpful!
Love your channel, guys and Sean, I have been enrolled in your master class for a few weeks. My question is: What if you already have a brand deal, but you're trying to balance driving traffic to the sponsor's store, with maintaining momentum on watch time?
This is so true. And you must not be afraid of big brands. My first brand deal was with Sony when I had 200 subs. I did not get money for it but I got Sony gear to be reviewed.
Just asked Sony Finland and showed them my channel which already had some 30 videos, all of them shot with Sony Actioncam or Sony Handycam. They sent me the latest camera model and gears to be promoted in my videos. I did two videos and after two weeks I sent the items back. Now I had a good reference to show to the next brand and that deal was already beneficial also financially.
A good video would be how to negotiate with brands on deals. What should you do once they say yes. That's where I'm at right now and I'm having a hard time making sure I am making the best deal and protecting myself from a scam.

There's a ton of individuals on here that are going on about, "I only have 10 subs or 30 subs or 100 subs, and I don't know how to get sponsors, I need money.." Folks, the first tip of this video at 2:00 is, "Build your channel, better content." Of the individuals that I clicked on who made such comments, they and probably you have maybe ten videos, all-time, two of which made in the last year perhaps. It's super simple, "Start Doing." Stop trying to make the quick buck out of thin air, because you're simply not worth anyone's money, not a dime. Go build great content that individuals want to get involved. 2017 is dedicated to building. You're simply just not creating, and if you are and have a ton of videos, start making better quality content, because clearly the public doesn't like it! #76subscribers haha

That would be like perfect to show them in my video: Here it is, this is a special poish restaurant. Great food, best stuff and good location in the centre. Here u can meet other polish people. I do know the owner, its a polish lady, super sweet and nice. The problem is i dont know how to approach on such kind of conversation. How to approach the idea. I see the fun factor for me and i see what advantages come for her. But im scared she will think thats fake. Or im...crazy. Because people, dont know that kind of business, yet. What do you think?
