We've had our E Brompton for a few months now -It's just brilliant. After watching your rack bag review we purchased sed item.Today we will use it to go get a wee bit of shopping from our local shop.Think also will consider large front bag ....the small bag is great for small items like phone wallet etc. Thanks for your videos ....you come across so human & relatable....ps wish we had a wine shop like yours on our doorstep 😃😄
So very helpful! Thank you! I still think Brompton has to do a front basket bag version, but this gives me a wonderful idea of the real world shopping capacity! 🥂
Agree - also If only Brompton sell the Frame. Reviews on Brompton website had this request. Right now, I looking to use a basket to attach to rear rack.
This is really helpful, thank you. I've got a large laptop and this is helpful for working out if it'll fit. Its also good for knowing how much wine can be carted around! Excellent real world use.
Thanks for another really helpful video, and I bought this bag after seeing it in action in the real world (and thanks very much for such a super efficient service). Of course there is only going to be so much volume in any bag when you have to fit around a battery, so it'll never be perfect. But it was great to see you can squeeze in almost enough alchohol to see you through a decent lunch. Bit selfish though- what's your other half going to drink?
Metric * Imperial Small Bag .65 * 1.5 lb Big Bag 1.5 * 3.5 lb w Battery 2.24 * 5 lb Small 2.94 * 6.5 lb Big 3.84 * 8.5 lb Max capacity is limited to the difference of 10 kg as indicated on the front block & the weight indicated above.
Yes it’s fine! I was amazed the first time I rode with a full bag that the bike still handles well! Please just remember the 10kg upper weight limit. Thank you for watching!
It’s really simple on the Brompton electrics, just depress the button and then lift. No it best to remove it first, before you fold. Thank you for watching and for your question.
Hi, Thanks for taking the time to watch (and comment) Both of the Brompton Electric bags - small and large, have the USB charge functionality (the cable actually plugs into the battery)
Hi - thanks for watching and commenting, by default the Brompton Electric comes with the small bag - you are right, at time of configuring your bike you can choose (at an extra cost) to have the large bag
The normal Brompton carrier block for the bag takes 10kg Max, does that mean the larger bag for eBrompton will only accommodate 6kg if the bag and battery together are already nearly 4kg?
@@hjamesayashi1590 Good - question ... we checked on the front carrier block on the Brompton Electric. It does indeed have a sticker stating that the maximum weight is 10kg (so yes - 6kg left after the weight of the bag and battery). We think it's the same as the non-electric front carrier block, as the screws bolting the block to the Brompton frame are the same - so too much weight could rip them out.
The large one is similar in size to the S-Bag, but loses space due to the battery, and doesn't have the handy pockets on the back. Thanks for watching and caring and asking :-)
Hi and thanks for watching It's a POC Receptor Flow - you can still get some on Amazon here: www.amazon.co.uk/POC-Receptor-Flow-Adult-Helmet/dp/B003FLM79I
Thanks for watching - and for your feedback In the early days we were shy about talking - we have now ditched the music in favour of talking (it’s still not prefect - but we try)

Thank you for your lovely comment. I hope you enjoy your electric as much as we do! We are lucky to have a lovely wine shop just across the road….. 😀

Many thanks for watching! We had fun making this! Yes a basket bag would be an amazing idea!

Thanks for the vid. Just discovered my rain cover thanks to you ☺
😂 it was well hidden! Thanks for watching

I might just be happy to share some of the content with him 😆.

Thanks for watching! A bonus surprise!
Thanks for the video. Quick question. Can you fit in a spare battery in the big bag?
same Question..
Your seat post is too high, when you pedal you have to rock your hips to reach the bottom of the pedal stroke. Thanks for sharing another video.
Thanks, I probably just grabbed a bike and did not adjust properly! Thanks for watching
@@brilliantbikes thanks, I have ordered the electric Brompton in the blue colour, your videos were a great in helping me decide.
What's it like riding with the large bag, i.e. compared to a backpack? Is it stable and comfortable enough?
Yes it’s fine! I was amazed the first time I rode with a full bag that the bike still handles well! Please just remember the 10kg upper weight limit.
Thank you for watching!
Video cuts out - What else was on it, please?
Oh no! Thanks for watching what you did
What’s the time stamp where it stops - it seems ok for us?
Hi....is there any waterproof battery cover ( small bag ) for Brompton ebike
How did you detach the bags so easily? I have been looking for a release catch. Do you need to have the bike partly folded?
It’s really simple on the Brompton electrics, just depress the button and then lift. No it best to remove it first, before you fold.
Thank you for watching and for your question.
If you take the batterie of the bike do you need extra lights on your bike .
Thanks for watching
Yes - the lights are powered by the battery
Is there no USB charge option on the bigger bag?
Hi, Thanks for taking the time to watch (and comment)
Both of the Brompton Electric bags - small and large, have the USB charge functionality (the cable actually plugs into the battery)
I think they offer the large one on pre-orders

Very nice
Thanks for watching! Glad you liked it.
Is that the same size as the sport bag?
The large one is similar in size to the S-Bag, but loses space due to the battery, and doesn't have the handy pockets on the back.

Hi there- what Helmet is she wearing? thanks.

Small bag is too small, big is too big. Is it any medium size? It is my suggestion 🙂for UK inventors. Good luck from PL.
what are the dimensions please? thanks!
spoken commentary rathe than overly loud music would have been nice
Thanks for watching - and for your feedback
In the early days we were shy about talking - we have now ditched the music in favour of talking (it’s still not prefect - but we try)
Can't hear the narrator over the music. Most annoying.
Many thanks for watching! We stopped using music as it was distracting! Sorry!
You need a cargo bike for that amount of booze!
Great idea !
We wanted to have some fun and something sized that people may relate to (or not)
Oh, and a new liver!
I LOVE that you show what is actually important to accommodate! Thank you! Cheers! 🍷
