wow quite the presentation. you explain the details cgd very clearly with crafty visual that makes the processes easier to follow. thank you for the help, my uncle passed away recently and had cgd and I am doing a project over it to better understand this rare genetic disorder that I have a personal relationship with. thank you, you are a scholar and gentleman

im sorry to say but there is a mistake.... what you say are the acute chemokines are actually cytokines... a chemokines is a type of cytokine, but is specialized for chemotaxis

While I like the simple explanation, you are wrong about lysosomes containing lysozymes in macrophages. Because macrophages don't have lysosomal containing granules to stored in lysosomes, lysosomes in macrophages do not carry lysosomal activity of their own. The macrophages mut be newly synthesized the lysosomal enzymes in the endoplasmic reticulum according to the needs, then packaged in the golgi apparatus as secretory vesicles. These secretory vesicles either fused with early phagosome for maturation purposes and then there are ready to fuse with lysosome. Lysosome fusion is needed because it mantains low PH acidity for activation of the newly synthesized lysosomal enzymes. This is different from neutrophils which do have primary, secondary, and tertiary granules stored in the lysosome and are ore readily avalaible for fusion with the phagosome.
Pseudopodia is the ability of the cell to have cytoplasmic filled projections of the cell membrane to confer them ability of movement or modify the cell membrane structure. The engulfment of the microorganism or material is an example of how the cell modifies the shape to entrap said material. Phagosome is the fusion of the surrounding cell membrane with the antigen.
