For the glory of Rome
@TeethteezI like hikanatoi and Achaemenid
A Türk, a Greek, a Persian, a Slav, and an İtalian person walks into a bar...
….and they make the mother of all cosmopolitan empires
I absolutely blast Farya’s Roman music when playing Total War Rome II as the Romans
I just realized how stupid I am for not doing this, btw Roma surrectum for Rome I remastered is way better than Rome II.
I appreciate the respects to my ancestors and the Roman Empire
Play any Roman game and have a blast!
What about imperator rome?
I do the same playing Mount and Blade Bannerlord 2. Especially when I’m playing as an Empire character.
You feel so proud looking at Giga Chad's happy face.
It fills you with determination.
The way you respected Eastern Roman Empire by transforming it into the Roman Empire at the end is highly respected.
Amazing piece of art bro🥰👍
Bruh lets stop using "western" and "eastern"
Just because there was a diarchy doesnt mean the empire splitted in two. Sparta also had 2 kings.(But we never say it was 2 different spartas)
The western roman empire was just the other 50% territory of the roman empire.
The roman empire didnt fall until 1479 and the "fall of the western roman empire" should be rephrased to "Rome losing the western territories/provinces"
The "eastern" roman empire was,is and always will be the roman empire so we should just call it the roman empire.
And no the roman empire did not end in 1453 with the fall of constantinople/nova roma/byzantium, it fell in 1479 with the fall of the despotate of epirus.
And even before that the principality of theodoro, empire of trebizond and despotate of morea still existed after constantinople fell.
These arent seperate states they're roman territories.
The ottomans still took out all of them until finally arriving at epirus where the last roman stand truly happened.
Ironic how the rome in its early republican eras had one of the largest republican wars with the kingdom of epirus but 1759 years later the last roman territory would be in Epirus
@@quantashonjamaldigglerbury4934
The terms must be used to make the proper distinctions. There were two imperial courts, two Emperors, two de facto states, operating independently of one another. Whether they were, at the time, considered split or not is irrelevant to how they are addressed academically today for the sake of study.
@@toasterboipencil they even fighted one each other in some ocations, is ok to not fall in the failure of our ancestors and call the eastern roman empire "byzantine empire" but I think quantas.... him, is going too far
@@toasterboipencilUse "Eastern" when referring academically and otherwise use "Roman Empire" because that is how the Byzantines referred to themselves. At the end of the day, you can't have the East without having the West, so since there was no western counterpart to the Eastern Empire then it is only natural to refer to it by its proper name rather than "Eastern Roman Empire". This term was made to distinguish between two divisions of an empire, there is no point to uphold it otherwise.
@@quantashonjamaldigglerbury4934Bro, the 2 kings of Sparta were part of the same government Sparta had. They had different jobs on the same territories. The Western Roman Empire and Eastern Roman Empire were both independent from eachother and had their own ruling head in their own territories. It's not even a close comparison.
Ah yes.
The meme that introduced me to Farya Faraji.
Same. Looked up the songs because of this meme. Been hooked ever since.

lol the songs led me to this meme

I’LL TAKE YOUR ENTIRE STOCK!
No one can deny that Farya is the best artist in the world!
To a certain crowd, maybe.
Really unic fuckin goddamn epic guy.
Haven’t heard of this Farya. Barring looking them up by myself, explain.
My personal favorite!
I like how the the countries represented by the music were enemies of each other in the past but in the video they are just vibing to each other.
When history is cool 😎 again..
Она и так крутая
History was cool but the problem was the teachers were boring when talking about history. The teacher doesn't sound energetic when they're teaching the subject. That's a reason why people find math or history boring because the teachers were boring
@@redseagaming7832 Pretty much.
For example, when we covered WW2 the teacher focused on the most boring stuff, like treaties and geography pre-war and post war and shit. Meanwhile, the cool stuff (like the exploits of Audrey Murphy, the espionage and deception shenanigans previous to DDay, the SOE, Jack Churchill etc etc) were not mentioned at all.
My personal favorite was the biography of Adrian Carton de Wiart.
@@ismaelsantos5378 the teachers lack the enthusiasm to make the history they teach interesting. I love talking about history I think I'd make a good history teacher but I have no ambition to be a teacher
@@redseagaming7832 My teacher was very enthusiastic when we talked in private, and she pretty much said that the only reason she didn't teach those interesting stuff is because the ministry of education won't let her. For the same reason a lot of bullshit and coverup was in place.
For instance, most in Argentina believe that Peron was some sort of savior and overall good guy, and that's because that's what they are taught at school. No mention is made of the facts that he:
1- Admired Mussolini and Hitler
2- Bankrupted the country
3- Never won elections once, the two times he was in power was trough coup (in the 50s, his second coup after the failed one in the 40s) and sedition (70s).
4- After getting booted out at the end of the 50s dictatorship he continued to coordinate terrorist activities from his supporters from Colombia
5- All his "achievements" amount to stealing the credit for shit that a lot of other people did. Most of the civil administration upgrades the country had in place, and are attributed to him, where not set up by him, but by Roca and Rosas. Same thing for stuff atributed to Eva.
6- He was more or less responsible for the civil war that Argentina went trough between 73 and 78 (which leftists call "a military coup" leaving out the fact it was the leftist terrorists the one attempting a coup to implement a dictatorship like the one Fidel Castro had in Cuba, and the military simply stopped them and took over after the executive was gone [peron died and isable left] and the legislative and judiciary were not working [half dead, half hiding/exiled out of fear])
So... yeah... History in schools is F'ed up really bad.
I'm working on Constantinople & I play Farya's Byzantine music playlist while building
Istanbul*
@@CoksadebirTurk2 when we talk about Byzantine Empire we say Constantinople
@@CoksadebirTurk2 Istanbul is not a legitimate name
@@blab1523 it is, it got conquered and changed by Turks then the russian city names are not legitimate cuz mongols ruled over the lands before what a stupid comment
@@CoksadebirTurk2 The mongols built zero cities in russia. Turks changed the names of cities that they did not even built. Many of the were changed recently. Your argument is invalid.
Bogurodzica has to be one of the most ominous and epic battle songs of history
Zapewne...

Eastern Roman guy turning into Roman when his music begins is pure historical accuracy! 🎉

Glory to the Roman Empire! I'm of Anatolian Greek ancestry. I'm proud to be Rhomaioi
Romaioi.*
Idk why people call it "Rhomaioi", there's no h equivalent nor an h sound in 'Ῥωμαῖοι', it is pronounced as "Romaii" not the anglo "Rhoma ioi", it just makes me cringe.
Remember: there is no 'h' and 'ioi' for plurals is pronounced the same as the Latin 'ii'.
Example, Skoutatoi will be pronounced literally the same as Latin "Scutati".
@wowngh1778 please find me one Greek person who pronounces Ρωμαίοι with the 'h' sound aka Rhomaioi (Rho-may-ii or ioi, as the anglos pronounce it) instead of Romaioi (Ro-may-ii)
@wowngh1778 do you have any idea how either Byzantine Greek or Modern Greek works? The difference in pronunciation between Byzantine and modern Greek primarily lies in the vowels and sometimes in the stress of the syllables, but not in the addition of an 'h' sound in 'P' (rho). In both Byzantine and modern Greek, the letter 'Ρ' ('rho') is pronounced as a trilled or rolled 'r', similar to the Italian or Spanish 'r'. It does not have an 'h' sound. Byzantine Greek maintained distinct vowel sounds closer to Koine Greek i.e the vowels were more articulate while they're more streamlined in Modern Greek. Consonants, on the other hand, such as Rho in our context had a more trilled 'r' sound compared to modern Greek which has a more rolled 'r' sound.
Anyways, no modern Greek or former Byzantine pronounces or pronounced P (rho) like that, only anglos do. I don't know why it is so in English but it is. There is your answer.
Anatolian Greek is not a thing bro. You are simply Roman. Greek nationalists created these new IDs for you guys under the influence of Western European racists who were obsessed with Ancient Greece. We (Turks) never called you Greek (Yunan) always called you Roman (Rum)
I need the crown and the locs beard.
