How do you intonate correctly with the short neck and long neck bridge placement? S.D. has "trembucker" bridge pickup pole spacing, Dimarzio has F-Spaced.
The neck is so called conversion. You can buy at warmoth the neck fretted that way that you could just put on a strat and the scale 62,5cm like gibson intonates perfectly. The squier body has 52mm string spacing and you can also buy a metal block bridge which would do fine with narrow spaced gibson pickups, you need a f-spaced just in case you have a american 56mm or a floyd rose bridge. Keep rockin
i left a hole inthere, all my experiments are just inermediate tests.... still, kinda like it. That middle strat pu is always in my way greetz and keep rockin
I like the neck pickup tones in this demo. I thought its a very musical tone for clean and low gain. Did you consider using the Lollar El Rayo in this guitar? I wonder how much difference there is between the Seth Lover vs the El Rayo.
Thanks for comment, brother I guess el rayo wold be even better to my taste, more presence. I dont know how much it is about a nickel cover, i guess noticable. I buld those guitars and sell them, even sometimes wanting to keep them I will sure get another take on el rayo Still- while my nr1 lollar mini hb on roasted neck tele wins head to head, just waiting for opportunity to get them cheaper. All those boutique stuff is to pricey, i wait for some used one the people are bringing to my shop Keep rockin'
@@MrCela-Guitarworks Your Tele with the black cabronita style pickguard has very nice tones as well. They seem to have many differences including the scale length.
Hi there, nice tone especially the neck tone.. I have duncan seth lover not yet installed. I have 1 question i f you dont mind...I came accross one article stated that duncan seth lover only suitable for 50watts amp and below do you think I can use it on 100watts and get proper tone? Better to get information first before I install and reinstall it later
I admit never heard it before that the wattage would affect the quality. I like those low power hb and i think they work fine in evry situation. To me the issue is - how much headroom do i have. Some amps are more distortion amps and they would cover the beauty of pure tone keep rockin
Great tone, great playing.
Wow! I’ve never seen another hsh strat with SL pickups and and Gibson scale conversion neck like mine. Very cool👍
Even a Strat sounds better with Seth Lovers.
