Gee i hope this Ford Twin Spinner custom get a full on resto. Beautiful car. My father had 2 of these when i was like 10 we only have photo's and memory's now.
By the way, I'm impressed at how hard you guys work to get these old cars moved. This is where you pay the true price for all the fun you have buying these old beauties for next to nothing at auction!
Bruce - I don't know where you live but the prices I see at some of the Midwest farm auctions are incredibly low by big city standards. I admit not all farm auctions are that way. I recently watched a video of a farm auction attended by a fellow from Nigeria who was there to buy used tractors for export to Africa. The prices at that auction seemed a bit higher than normal to me, but one measure of how low the prices were is that fellow bought enough of the older, smaller tractors to fill a 40 foot container, paid the cost of shipping the container to Africa, and still made a profit selling them in that impoverished corner of the world. This story also speaks to how well American farm machinery is made. Big Ag has driven production costs up to the point where farms of 3,000 acres and more are the norm. Large farms require large combines and tractors to work them, and large grain trucks to bring all that grain to market. Older, smaller tractors that have become little more than collector's items in America are still treasured in other parts of the world for the work they can do, and their ease of repair.
"It drove to the scene of the accident " Good one! I refurbished a bench grinder like that for my garage. The toolbox reminded that I still have mine from Cessna Hydraulic division, bought in 1979. I tried to buy a Chevy luv 4x4 when they were new, too young and not enough collateral. Thanks for the video.
Love seeing these old farm hoards. Seeing that ‘41 sedan reminded me of a mechanic that had a mint one that he had put a 289 in. After he retired, he reinstalled the original engine.
Hard video to watch, sad to see history be lost.. I wish that there was a law that said that these old cars were not allowed to be crushed but kept as restoration projects or parts vehicles depending on their condition Mr Goodplier I just subscribed to your channel , we both love cars and I appreciate you
Hello hope all is good . ok just wanted to say a big thank you for giving us the chance to have a peak on all the cool places with such history . Take care
Always enjoy walking around those old farm actions with you & seeing how people survived before technology as we no it . Your mate Jo ? Boy he's a goer Gets in there & gettit done . 👌🇦🇺😎
HI MR.G. --- GREAT VIDEO !!! I LEARNED ALOT FROM THAT GUY TAKING OFF THE BRAKE DRUMS AND MOVING OUT THAT GREAT CAR.. I THOUGHT THE VIDEO WAS GOING TO BE PEOPLE BIDING ON CARS?? AND BUYING THEM,, YOU WERE A GREAT HELPER FOR THAT GUY.. PEACE ,,..
Can you interview Joe for the viewers? We would like to know.. 1. What was his favorite cereal from child hood? 2. How come he has money and I don't? 3. If viewers want to send him new t-shirts, should they be orange?
Those Luv trucks would've been good to get, even to just make one n have parts. Noticed both had A/C, black one was first I'd seen without the stripes!
As much as l like the old cars and trucks you passed right by that Allis Roto Baler. The first round baler ever made. I hope that didn't go for scrap as people collect them.
Thanks Tim, you bought more great things - have you run out of room yet?!! I like the animal cage, great for your kids (your own or some baby goats!) I had goats, they are fun to keep, but they do like to walk all over your cars and in the house, given half the chance!!
Ok, y'all are doing to much picking on your friend Gordon. Please forward this to Gordon for me, from Gordon. Thank you. From one Gordon to another, I think that you're hanging out with the wrong crowd 😅 because all I ever hear on video is all them guys pickin' on ya. 😂!! Make sure that you accidentally hit them with a rake or shovel once in a while when you stroll by and just say "That's from the other Gordon"! but from you, oops, I'm sorry. NOT! 😅🤣😂 HAA HA HAA! Thanks for the show, another good one, like always 👌😀👍 👏
i just sold my 89 gmc c1500 that was in very nice shape, new tbi 350, 4l60e previous owner restored it in 2013, drove it till 2016 then parked it.. i got it about a year ago, original o.d showed 344k..
I need the back glass and door glass for that 1776 thunderbird i got,Do you have a parts car?I saw there was one at that sale, but with demo dirby guys, they are probably expensive.I wish i knew who got it, if they are gonna dirby it, I bet they throw away the stuff i need.
Try backing off that star adjuster on the back of the drum. Hit it with a lil wd 40 or penetrating oil. Ok, Peanut gallery over and out. Also, I think the saying peanut gallery is offensive. Anyway that's my 2 cents. I'm sure that's offensive to some people too. so my apologies for anyone who is offended or triggered.
I kinda wonder there mr goodpliers if they can get one of those PHD's in armchair mechanics and or body and fender since they know more than the person setting in front of the vehicle. It was just a thought. Now this is a question for the early fords.... the grill is or has either a single bullet or some had dual bullets.... I thought the singles were the six cylinder and the dual bullet grill cars had v8's in them?? Am I close as I had the single bullet grill and it had the number six in it and that is what the car came with/had in it
I think joe needs a new shirt and you should spray the wheel studs with penetrating oil to make those nuts go on and off without stripping those threads
Usually why this happens is people die and have no extended family to leave things too so the state takes over for unpaid taxes and auctions everything off
Mr. Goodpliers - will you please, please, PLEASE! tell me where the video through 16:27 was shot? County and state is enough. I assume it's Western Kansas, but I have a reason for asking that has nothing to do with this particular auction. You don't respond to comments, but please answer this one! Thank You!
@@mr.goodpliers6988 a.k.a. Mr. Badsocket (I hope you have a sense of humor!). Thanks for two reasons. First, because the info you just provided confirmed a pet theory of mine. If ever I get a chance to sit down over a cold brew with you, I'll tell you about it. Second, I truly appreciate what you do. Almost without exception, the really nice survivor cars were plundered years ago. The cars you find are the odd models that have been sitting too long, that will take work to bring them back to life. You save these old beauties from the crusher. Thank you!
You guys are hard working men. Keep up the saving of automotive history
Good evening Tim, Thank You very much for sharing!!!!
Gee i hope this Ford Twin Spinner custom get a full on resto.

Bronco 2 ‘s cool. I bought my 1987 Bronco 2 Dec 1986.
The Ranch Wagon is a rare one. That was quite the shopping day for ya. 😎👍🇨🇦
V.good show. Keep them coming. 😄😃👌👌👍👍👍
By the way, I'm impressed at how hard you guys work to get these old cars moved. This is where you pay the true price for all the fun you have buying these old beauties for next to nothing at auction!
Next to nothing!? You obviously haven't been to any auctions lately lol

@@chrisackerley1842 yeah i know....i grew up on a farm. I have no idea what they do in the city....or Africa
What you called a cord less drill dad used when I was a small boy. He called it a brace and bit.

That 68 Camaro front clip had a story.

12:33 Allis Chalmers RotoBaler; started 1947-ish(?) for few years, took a break & finished production late-60's/early-70's w/ the 'white top' model

LOL. I hadn't even noticed I had a tear in that shirt until I saw the video.
I would like to see your yard and collection of cars
Peanut gallery here... When I move cars I usually only use 2 or 3 lug nuts. Faster and easier!
The Ranch Wagon jumped out of there like it was anxious to go!
Malibus make great bracket racers. Saw one with a 500 cube big block. 2 quick 4 u 2 see lol!
I have a good two door Malibu available now. $2500, has title. Ready for a drive train!
Mr. Goodpliers, where are you located ?? Tks, Ed/A

As part of the peanut gallery my hat's off to you guys for all the hard work.
Welcome to the peanut gallery
That’s what all the highway workers do one works three watch. Nice score on what you got
Very cool!!!!!!!!!
animal cage is actually a fleetside pickup box livestock rack that would just slide in
Good picks! Any plans for them?

I had an '85 S10-my first truck. It was a nice enough truck, but terrible in the snow. My next truck was a '92 4x4 S10.
how much did the big vise go for that was a nice one
I just broke my 6 inch bench brace today I could sure use one

I would have liked to have the bench vise, at the beginning of the video, but I don't think I could have picked it up.
Yep, second the WD40 or Penetrating oil on dem dry as a bone studs, Lube em up and that tap will love you for it. It only takes a second to squirt
I was hoping you picked up the s10 and the luv trucks. I'm interested in the s10? Are you selling it as is?

Silus-where are you??
Not so much that older trucks are collectors, guys are buying them to rebuild and drive. Can't afford the new crap.
If you like watching someone changing tires this is for you.
Did you grab the Vise
we got the blooper at the end,
the bucket was bought brand new .
Interesting, but I haven't seen much I can use.
