Lol … if Steve was still in the band , ( my opinion) I think they would have had/ kept a heavier edge… a ballad here and there , but probably more riffs …
I have both the 40th box set and the 2009 deluxe, gotta say that the 40th remaster sounds way better than the 2009, very small differences in the mastering but the 40th is slightly clearer (especially on the bass side of the spectrum), but I can't hear any differences in the L.A. Forum concert, love the BluRay disc, the different masterings on it is great (don't like hearing "You know what I'm talking about" on 'Rock Of Ages' tho) and the BluRay artwork is so great
@@aaronanderson9387 yeah it’s a very cool package, they did a great job with it .. I wish they’d do something with Hi & Dry… Mutt did a great job of recording , mixing etc with hysteria… and yeah the new mix is awesome ..
@@augie3281 so you know what my dumbass did after picking up 15 albums Record Store Day …..ordered 14 more through UDiscover Music. They had a big sale . Picked up some great classic rock that of course I already own on cd . Stuff like Paul McCartney, Tom Petty even one from Thin Lizzy ….
If i had a girlfriend 😻❤️🌹 right now, and i would like to meow playing her some legendary rock ballad ❤️🌹, i would definitely choose LOVE BITES ❤️🌹 😻💕💞. Also, PYROMANIA is a legendary classic album of the 1980's 😺👍.
Love Bites when it first came out I’m sure was played a lot and wore out a lot of backseats in cars lol. Pyromania was the last of the trinity from our Leppard Cat friends…
Instead of having the same '83 concert, maybe a disc of their videos from the album, and some behind the scenes stuff, or maybe acoustic. If you have the first box, this seems like a lot of money for very little new content. Blatant money grab...sad.

Their last good album IMO. They sucked after that. "High and Dry" and "Pyromania" were their best works. Nice boxed set.
