You have a really nice truck here. I had a 1987 short bed 2wd that I bought when I was 18. I should have never got rid of it when the engine locked up. Now I have a 1987 GMC long bed truck though. I can't explain it but these trucks are just really fun to drive. 87 is my favorite year because I was born that year. Just wish mine was 4wd like yours

That truck is from my hometown was parked out front of this older gentleman’s house for years later was sold and fixed up then you bought if im not mistaken that truck is a California truck
You’re kinda cheating though, you got the best year. Fuel injection, overdrive trans, a/c. I daily drive a 1990 c1500 which basically has the same drivetrain you got and its like a Cadillac compared to my 86 k30, no way would i drive that thing everyday. Ive had a squarebody as a second vehicle since the 90s. Ive drove them for a month or so while my daily was down but yeah its rough

what transmission is in there th350 400? Whats the rpm at 75 mph (high ways around here are 70-75) Thanks
700r4. Rpm is about 1800-2000 at 75
