Keeping you in my prayers. I hope you are feeling much better at this point. You have such wonderful girls and hubby! I had a hysterectomy a few years ago. My first surgery. I had a catheter in and bag. I had about 3 bags of IV’s. I had no pee in the bag. Nurse did an ultrasound on my bladder and it was empty. This was about 6 pm. I was full of gas from the surgery. As it came out I started operating normal. By 6 am I was good to go. God bless!

I love your and Kayla’s phone cases. I have the exact same brand just in a checkerboard pattern, the square shape is so fun. One thing I would like to ask is the one that Kayla has, I looked at that one. My only deterrent with it was the reviews said the gold outline wore off. Has she noticed that problem or is it still nice looking? Hope you feel better, you have a great family to recover with.❤

Hope you’re recovering well, Tracy 💜😊. I had an oral surgeon consult appointment last Wednesday and I’ll be getting my top wisdom teeth out this Wednesday, March, 27.

Kayla you should start a podcast because I like podcasts.
Each day ull prob get a bit better the medication will b making u dry an sick strong painkillers but take them if u need them.maybe eat bit of toast before taking them hope ur on the mend soon ❤

Word of advice: The medicines that you take along with eating after your surgery (especially day after) may make you feel a bit nauseated 🤢 so take it easy. That happened to me after my surgery, but after while you’ll eat normally. Get well 😌
Why would you voluntarily put yourself through this?
Why would a person voluntarily put themselves through a pregnancy? Anything can cause excruciating pain. She needs her stomach muscles which sometimes after kids and c sections break apart
Hi Tracy, I had this surgery 8 months ago, and all that your feelings are normal. You're going to feel very tight, especially when all the swelling kicks in in about 3 days. The meds that they put in you with the long needle is amazing Stuff it will keep you numb for about 3 days and that my girl is a blessing cause you won't feel all that pain but please be careful because when your numb like that you don't realize when you may be pulling at your incision like when your trying to get up or turn just be really careful and mindful that it is numb right now and save yourself some grief when it wears off. I'm praying for a speedy recovery, and you're going to love it when it's healed!!

Lol...they had wire cutters hanging on my wall after one of surgeries just in case I got sick. Luckily they did not need them. Lol.
I totally understand the dry mouth. I had a surgery 8 years ago that was significant and I got something from the nurses that helped with the dry mouth. They were cotton tips with medicine on the tip. It helped.

Just remember a lot of the yucky stuff on your scars is likely dried blood ect. I'm not an expert, just had lots of surgery, oh the joys of spastic cerebral palsy! try not to stress too much! It's all gonna heal beautifully I'm sure!

Wish I could feel sympathetic but I can't for cosmetic surgery. Got the hernia though but most of us do. Get better soon.

I have had a lot of surgeries and when it was my mom's turn, I hand picked the orthopedic doctor based on the bedside manners. (I did my internship at a hospital), it was different being on that side.
What did you get at surgery on
The reason why your pee starts and stops like that is because you were put under into a sleep so deep and long, that your urinary tract fell asleep, and now it needs to wake up. It will take some time to do that.
That was me after I had my c section
I remember when I had some surgeries that it was a long time before I could go tinkle. That's because you have been and the rest of your body have been through. How about a podcast and a go fund me page?
Drink drink drink and walk walk walk. And don’t forget the stool softeners. Your post op pain will be worse if you become constipated.
