@@ClockworkMusics I listened to an AM radio broadcast of a Beatles performance from late 1962. The quality is obviously pretty poor but you can tell Harrison was already ripping it up on guitar back then. His performance of Ask Me Why is so tasteful. Wonderful use of the whammy bar.

My personal: I Saw Her Standing There Not A Second Time I Should Have Known Better Baby's In Black I've Just Seen A Face Wait For No One A Day In The Life While My Guitar Gently Weeps Savoy Truffle Hey Bulldog I Want You (She's So Heavy) I Me Mine
My "best"; assuming I'm allowed a single LP, which means about 22 minutes per side: Side A: 1 A Hard Day's Night 2 Help! 3 Day Tripper 4 Norwegian Wood 5 Love You To 6 Lucy in the Sky 7 For No One 8 Tomorrow Never Knows Side B: 1 Come Together 2 While My Guitar Gently Weeps 3 Helter Skelter 4 Blackbird 5 A Day in the Life The order isn't chronological, I'm trying to make a tracklist that "flows"; the beginning and end of each "side" is important. No matter what songs I pick, I'm leaving an awful lot out. You could tell me I'm allowed 2 CDs - that's about 148 minutes of audio - and I'd still have to leave a ton of wonderful songs out.
Quite far from my personal list, as I'm a huge fan of the Beatles' hard rocking, psychedelic, Sitar and experimental tracks. Tracks like You can't do that, The Word, Good Morning good Morning, Why don't we do it on the road, Revolution 9, Only a Northern song, For you blue would never appear in my Beatles negative list. My personal negativ list includes: Hold me tight, Tell me why (just because of the falsetto part, that squeaks like a fork on a plate), I need you (terrible arrangement and lame), You know me too much, The long and winding road (pretty boring and "schnulzig"), All together now. Out of competition the short tracks: Maggie Mae, Dig it, Her Majesty.
Your worst songs on Hard Day’s Night and Beatles for Sale would have been on my best album. Interesting how many different opinions there are on The Beatles.
You guys are all fools... This is easily the best list: 1. Do You Want To Know A Secret 2. Hold me Tight 3. I'll Cry Instead 4. What You're Doing 5. I Need You 6. Think For Yourself 7. And Your Bird Can Sing 8. Lovely Rita 9. Baby You're A Rich Man 10. Martha My Dear 11. Savoy Truffle 12. It's All Too Much 13. For You Blue 14. She Came In Through The Bathroom Window (Anthology 3 version)
honestly i'd say yer blues is one of the best song from white album (mostly bc of that AMAZING live version with eric clapton and keith richards). i donno why u dont like it that much(
Wish you hadn’t included covers that they didn’t write. Then maybe All My Loving would have gotten its proper place. Our worsts have a lot of overlap, but you and I sure have a very different opinion of what their bests are!😕
I always find it funny how lots of people love, 'here , there and everywhere', and long and winding road - genuinely two of my least favourites, next to Mr moonlight, I actually prefer revolution 9 😂 ,,, nah it's all a matter of personal taste , nice idea for a video 👍🏻😮
I've heard some people call it "The Long and Whiny Paul" 😂 _Ouch_ - but I kinda get it. It's Paul at his most indulgently sentimental. For some people it's just too much.
My worst album choices: 1. Chains 2. Don't Bother Me 3. When I Get Home 4. I Don't Want to Spoil the Party 5. Act Naturally 6. What Goes On (I'm so sorry Ringo) 7. Doctor Robert 8. Good Morning Good Morning 9. Flying 10. Why Don't We Do It In the Road? 11. Wild Honey Pie 12. The Entire B-Side of Yellow Submarine, in a row 13. The Medley, but all the songs are on shuffle (there are really no bad songs on Abbey Road, so this is a compromise) 14. Maggie Mae DELUXE EDITION BONUS TRACKS 15. Komm, Gib Mir Deine Hand 16. Sie Liebt Dich 17. You Know My Name (Look Up the Number) 18. What's the New Mary Jane 19. Revolution 9 20. Yesterday, but it abruptly cuts to Dizzy Miss Lizzy halfway through.
Enjoyable video, even if I don't necessarily agree with all your picks. Just a wee word of advice though. You're overusing some words like "amazing" and "obviously", probably without even realising. Obviously every Beatles album is amazing, but you could possibly do with a thesaurus for some other synonyms.
1. I saw her standing there. 2. All my loving. 3. If I fell. 4. Eight Days A Week. 5. You've Got to Hide Your Love Away. 6. In My Life. 7. Here There and Everywhere. 8. A Day In A Life. 9. Hello Goodbye 10. While My Guitar Gently Weeps. 11. Blackbird. 12. Hey Bulldog. 13. Something. 14. Long And Winding Road.

10. Martha My Dear
11. Savoy Truffle
12. It's All Too Much
13. For You Blue
14. She Came In Through The Bathroom Window (Anthology 3 version)
you chose wrong on the white album, the songs you picked were from the same disc
@@La_domniz have done an updated 2024 version where I fix that mistake
honestly i'd say yer blues is one of the best song from white album (mostly bc of that AMAZING live version with eric clapton and keith richards). i donno why u dont like it that much(
@@unstoppablebear6384 don’t mind the song, this video is last years version, I like it more now
@@ClockworkMusics cool then!
I'll Be Back is so underated id put it at 2 or 3 best track on the album and so is i dont want to spoil the party
@@TomsRetroGames rn I love both songs, they’re on my new video which I uploaded this is my 2023 rankings
WE BRINGING THE DEAD BACK TO LIFE???
Wish you hadn’t included covers that they didn’t write. Then maybe All My Loving would have gotten its proper place. Our worsts have a lot of overlap, but you and I sure have a very different opinion of what their bests are!😕
@@heatherqualy9143 I have an updated video with my new thoughts, I’m not sure why I choose a cover lol. What are you fav songs
@@KING7CANTONA thanks I really appreciate that
I've heard some people call it "The Long and Whiny Paul" 😂
_Ouch_ - but I kinda get it. It's Paul at his most indulgently sentimental. For some people it's just too much.
Why not wild honey pie instead of why dont we do it in the road (for worst)
The Beatles worst album is better than most bands greatest hits albums
@@dkizxpt-su3ze agreed
My worst album choices:
1. Chains
2. Don't Bother Me
3. When I Get Home
4. I Don't Want to Spoil the Party
5. Act Naturally
6. What Goes On
(I'm so sorry Ringo)
7. Doctor Robert
8. Good Morning Good Morning
9. Flying
10. Why Don't We Do It In the Road?
11. Wild Honey Pie
12. The Entire B-Side of Yellow Submarine, in a row
13. The Medley, but all the songs are on shuffle (there are really no bad songs on Abbey Road, so this is a compromise)
14. Maggie Mae
DELUXE EDITION BONUS TRACKS
15. Komm, Gib Mir Deine Hand
16. Sie Liebt Dich
17. You Know My Name (Look Up the Number)
18. What's the New Mary Jane
19. Revolution 9
@@dorsetbear thanks for the advice. :)
if you wanna see my new version of this video then its out now, i have improved abit, as this was my first video :)
Tabasco Cat are a close 2nd to the Beatles
I would still enjoy the worst Beatles album
Didn't you do the same on a video a few weeks ago?
Yes I am re uploading some videos, the last one was singles, worst and best, but I am working on a huge video so I need to re upload. :)
Razoir
Merci
I wouldn't choose any of these for either list. Oh, and "You Like Me Too Much" is not on Yellow Submarine. It's on Help!
I think he meant 'It's All Too Much'
1. I saw her standing there. 2. All my loving. 3. If I fell. 4. Eight Days A Week. 5. You've Got to Hide Your Love Away. 6. In My Life. 7. Here There and Everywhere. 8. A Day In A Life. 9. Hello Goodbye 10. While My Guitar Gently Weeps. 11. Blackbird. 12. Hey Bulldog. 13. Something. 14. Long And Winding Road.
You have great taste 🎵👍
