My all-time favorite DCD song. A masterpiece. After learning about Antartica’,, its inhabitants, the alchemy of advanced technology and ancient wisdom (“i.e., “black sun”/“ice & fire””), our true ancestry leading to the origin of homo sapien sapiens, ufology, Earth, etc…… Did Brendan know this already? I would not be surprised.. All the lyrics tell our predicament here - we humans , young Earthlings. WANT SO MUCH TO KNOW IF THAT IS THE TRUE STORY/meaning of this song. Have ❤️’d this song since early 1990’s. Only NOW has this occurred to me!!!💡🔮🧬🧬🧬
Brilliant track from the wonderful Aion album. maybe the band's best. Love this live version . Brendan's voice is still superb even though he is now mid 50's.
I know that Lisa Gerrard lent her vocals to the “Gladiator” and “Man on Fire” movie soundtracks, but I have always wondered why they didn’t use “Black Sun” from Aion as the opening track of the “Man on Fire” movie...if there was ever a perfect opportunity to use that track...that sure would have been amazing...too bad that didn’t happen... I think that would have expanded their fan base in addition to getting their music out to a broader and more diverse audience...

@@mateustetzner2923 é bem complicado mesmo, pq o sol negro existe em várias culturas e todos elas dão meio que um significado próprio pra ele (sol negro é na verdade a suástica). E a música meio que se refere a estarmos presos a esse mundo cíclico.
