Actually Betty and Sonny Tufts made another movie in 1946 called Cross My Heart a musical comedy where Sonny played a lawyer who has to clear Betty of a murder charge,one of her lesser known films,even Betty seems to have forgotten it.
I love this Lady. Her movies and her singing have brought me happiness for many decades. (I'm 80 years young). She had a hard life, but had an incredible talent and energy. God Bless her dear soul❣❣❣❣❣ She grew and worked on growing in her life....and, to me, that's spiritual success❣❣❣❣❣
Thanks for this I enjoyed- nice to hear the true story behind Romance on the High Seas- much as i love Betty, so glad somehow Doris Day got her break in this due to the studio not letting Betty out.
