An episode of The New Price is Right as aired on HSV-7 on the 28th of June, 1983. Original Ads included along with a little bit of World of Sport at the end of the tape too.
It's great seeing all the old cars and appliances in showroom condition. It feels funny hearing Deeksy's voice in the early 80s - i always associate him with "Wheel" in the 90s and 2000s
This was one of the best game show in Australia when Ian Turpie was the host and John Deeks any the prized and called out to the contestants to come on down.
I work at a pub where they have Chase The Ace... I want the music when the guests run down to the stage, to play when the lucky winner draws their card
They ran a few incarnations of that, and also a version with a guy named Garry Meadows in 1973 shortly after the then New Price is Right debuted here in the states in 72. (It's always been fascinating to me that this version here never changed its' name to simply "The Price is Right", as ours did after its' 1st year on air, given it ran about 5 years, sort of wonder why.)
No I do not sadly but I do have some content you may like on my new Shadowolf Sports channel as I'm currently going through a lot of my old tapes and converting them to digital and uploading them to UA-cam. There's 3 videos there now but that will increase as time goes on as I have a lot of tapes I need to convert. The link to the channel is here. ua-cam.com/channels/7Wut9iywi-tyX7y8-SNCzw.html Any other miscellaneous stuff I find on those tapes that aren't related to sport will be posted here if I find it interesting enough to post. Thanks for Watching WOS, I love the old World of Sport and Footy stuff you have uploaded.
@@BryanShadowbuckVery rare to see the HSV7 version of price is right. Not to worry Look forward to seeing more of your videos mate. Thanks for the message on my channel. WOS had so many memories of a great sports show.
@@BryanShadowbuck I used to love watching this after school when I was a kid. I always loved it when the little man hurled himself off the edge in Cliffhangers. It was the only game I didn't want the contestant to win. I guess I was a sadistic child. Can't believe it when they brought this show back a few years ago with appalling cheap prizes and even ruined the Cliffhangers theme. No wonder it didn't last. RIP Ian Turpie.
So beautiful to watch. Glad the commercials were included as well.
What a great final.... between Bruce Reid and Danny LaRue

We used to watch this every day!!

The set of Australian TPIR used the same colorscheme as our 1972-75 set
RIP Ian Turpie (1943-2012).
Fantastic, does anyone have some more episodes of this great game show they could put up please? Brings back memories of my childhood.
CAR

Boy I miss this show. Hope many miss episodes can be found please.
There's a mistake in the Bullseye game: 59 cents times 5 is $2.95, not $2.94
9:57 You Buy The Car
10:19 You Win The Car
Wow, Jill really effed up.
The Datsun bluebird what a classic.
I miss the 80s...
I never been to Mayisia before
11:11 Ouch
Come on Down Under!
18:00 If that were me, I'd flip the table...
I had a feeling that was going to happen. She was doing so very well, until that came up. Hate it when that occurs.
@@chrisfinch8637 Drew Carey also hates it when that happens...a guy rolled a 2 and said higher and it was a 1...he once said "Well I quit"
Believe me, I've seen that happen many times. It's those 2's and 5's that kill people most often.
2:02 - She said $680, not $658
9:06 Lucky Seven
9:53 Lucky Seven Know as The One Dollar Deal
Given this is The New Price is Right, did Australia air an earlier version of TPIR similar the original American version that ran from 1956 to 1965?

I’d like to see games like card game, check game , danger price, pick a pair, safecrackers, trader bob, & 3 strikes & 10 chances
If It's Trader Bob on The Down Under Version of TPIR being uploaded to UA-cam, I'm Calling It Trader Ian (or Trader Turps)
