This is so amazing, I can’t wait to see what they accomplish together. God bless all 4 of you wonderful individuals.
why did nasa not do a moon flight before they cut the program before they had the plane but why did they not just fly around the moon
@The smoker going *back* to the moon
The Bible says there is a firmament over the Earth solid enough to hold back the "waters above" in Genesis 1. It says that the sun, moon and stars are within the firmament. Over and over the Bible says that the Earth does not move.
God won't bless these liars
Yes!! My family is so excited! My son can not wait to be up there one day! Thank you guys for everything!
@hello lol does your son want to be an astronaut?
@@cherylharewood2549 Yes he wants to be the pilot for the rocket! He charts the moon every night lol
@@hellolol7404 very nice
Charting the moon?!! How old is he? What a goal. Reach for the moon!
Yeah, I thought about being a space guinea pig too 😂
Absolute respect and admiration for these scientific athletes with the physical strength, mental toughness, and bravery, that only the people in their field can truly understand, yet we all can appreciate. Godspeed to Victor Glover, Reid Wiseman, Christina Koch and Jeremy Hansen. May your mission be a success.

Thank you ABC and Congrats to the Astronauts and NASA. This is so inspiring. So proud to be an American. Such a good feeling of hope. ❤
@@packs4L You are so right. Including the bloody Russians.
I HOPE YOU WONT BE UPSET THAT I AM AN AMERICAN WITH PATRIOTIC FEELINGS.

@@masseffect8294 did you listen to the whole interview? Americans are partnering to set up a global example.

We are so proud of all of you astronauts! We love the MOON! Take care and bless your trip.
Let's hope they tell the truth when they get back. Watch the televised footage of when the first 3 came back very very very suspicious and suspect. Looks like they were drugged and threatened while in quarantine.
@@AA-ke5cuwhat dose did you take?
A big moment for future history
I guess, we landed on the Moon 50 years ago and Artemis II is half as exciting
@@ComsiCaterpillar well I think the major exciting prospect is semi-permanent residents on the moon once the ISS is decommissioned. And relanding with our new systems is a huge step towards that

“Much better air condition in here” NASA 🤷🏻♀️Wats up?!
lets go Canada were going to the moon all of our country's pride going with you and your team making history here people
Nice interview, good job 👍 keep up the good work 👏🏻
This brings me back to the excitement of the late 60's and early 70's. We need to explore. It's good for the country. It's good for technology. It's good for the general psyche
of the country.
Lucky few? I’m pretty sure they worked hard in life to gain this position, and traveling to the moon is a pretty dangerous mission, yet to call them “lucky” seems to be an insult.
It's like they were insinuating like they won the position in a lottery or something. They certainly worked hard to be on the moon. Smh.
Even within the astronaut corps, they were chosen because they are such great candidates. Koch has more logged time in space and spacewalking than most, and Wiseman had similar experience. Victor Glover was one of two astronauts to fly on Crew-demo 2 in 2020, and he was an Air Force test pilot before that. Jeremy Hansen has not been to space before, so this will be his first spaceflight. He had experience in the Canadian Air Force prior to entering the CSA as an astronaut.
" Another step for man, one more giant leap for our legacy. "
Prayers for them as well 🙏
The Bible says that we live under a firmament solid enough to hold back the waters above. Genesis 1 says that the sun, moon and stars are within the firmament. Over and over the Bible says that the Earth does not move.
For All Mankind.
i am so happy
Congratulations to Capt. Glover!! We are very proud here in Ridgecrest, California!!🎉🎉🎉
Good luck and Godspeed, Capricorn One!
0:39 Anyone else hear "Much better air conditioning in here" being whispered by something between cuts? It's easier if you (carefully) turn up your volume.
I heard it
To travel to one planet and look beyond .

Congratulations astronauts good luck on the mission trip to the moon with the artamis 2 and return on the orion reentry
Stay safe
Then when you realise there were fews of those who already did it in vintage era with no experience no proper communication, issues with propulsion but they never gave up, that took lot of courage although best of luck new guys💯
And launched back to Earth ahahahaha
Good luck.
0:39 - good to know the Air Conditioning in there is better. 👍
Dude behind the camera: *much better air conditioning in here*

I saw them at the final four in Houston Texas

Off they go 🎉🎉
glad to see Artemis getting some media attention
WISHING THEM THE VERY BEST‼️ 😌🙏🏽🚀🌕

Many blessings USA!
awsome!!😊
Im so excited to hear will be going back, they wont be landing but will get closer then any of us have in 50 years, the next mission is planning to be a landing! Testing the new tech and well help work towards getting us to mars one day 😁 congratulations team artemis i couldnt be more thrilled especially as a canadain with nasa and the Canadian space agency working to its a great sucess some north American pride.
They can’t land because there’s no way to get back, never has been. The ‘plan’ is rovers go first and build a launch pad so they can get back.
manden otro cohete de otra locacion el propulsor esta como coladera aprende a soldar titanium o platinum. o llega a 6 mil celcius sino entiendes hueco rn la capsula es facil tu puedes por que sino no llega a media cuadra.
Did you hear someone says much better when air conditioner is in here

Lucky my ass!! They worked their asses off!!! So cool!!!

5:10 Not really. Considering the Starship orbital flight test is going to happen sometime this year. It's not going to be the most powerful by then.
@@DG-nk7jo Maybe read what a "rocket" is?
@@DG-nk7jo The only reason why NASA didn't make the SLS reusable is purely because of the low annual budget they get.

I really believe that Artemis 3 should be commanded by Victor Glover, but I don’t see it being likely since he’s on this one.
I want to know more about the air conditioner.
Let's reduce these 2 individuals which worked incredibly hard by race and gender.......
Never Fly alone. That is UNSC protection Commercial Jets. The "Long Johns".
I was hoping snoopy/Woodstock were part of the crew
We fist when to the moon in 72 or something like that with Neil Armstrong that was my generation and now it’s their turn to go to the moon and I wish them luck 🍀
Hello 👋
@Anthony Kelley that's the dumbest story ever... destroyed the technology and the original film for it, and never to return for over 50 years and always stealing more money while pushing the dates years down the line...
GULLIBLE MUCH OR WHAT? 😂
@Anthony Kelley oops sorry Apollo 11 I was late 11 years ago I don’t know were I got 72 from but one step for America and one step for mankind see for bringing my memory
The UFO’s told us not to go back and we’re still going. I hope we’re welcomed this time 😂
Well they aren't landing on the moon like last time they are simply circling it.
Why not land? Like going to the beach and not going on the sand, not sus.

Artemis 2 will not orbit the Moon; they’re only going on a free-return trajectory.
Somebody watching??😊😊
they should fire the interviewer
Good to see a black man and a woman aswell and just 4 white males .
This is what americans should be like this inspires all of us and which is why we look up to them and not all the other stupid things that are happening tight now
agree
People who say there should be no travel to the Moon or anywhere else up there in space because of problems on Earth have a point and I respect that but these problems would still exist with or without a space programme. Humanity has always had problems ever since it came into being and always will. It would be better for the nay sayers to spaceflight to say they are against the very concept and idea of spaceflight, just like I am sure people were against the invention of the wheel.
I am sorry but while I defend their right to express their belief, I do not have any respect for the Moon Conspiracy hoax theorists and believers who obviously have no idea of science at all and will, despite all the overwhelming evidence, persist in their belief and no amount of talking to them will dissuade them of that belief.
I am in fact surprised America can still send astronauts into orbit, let alone the Moon, a country which has so many people believing that Americans and others never went into space at all.
If spaceflight does continue, it will be dominated by the China, a country whose government will not allow any space naysayers to express their opinions on this and other things at all. And certainly it will not not allow any Moon hoax theorists to voice their belief in any way at all.
It looks as if the US will get weaker and weaker, get ever more divided and a country whose problems will get worse and worse.
China will simply get stronger and stronger and I would not be surprised if the next crew on the Moon is Chinese and not American.
Especially as the American human landing system, the Starship, has not even flown into orbit yet, let alone the Moon, and will require a lot of test flights to prove it is safe to carry people.
Therefore any US landing on the Moon will not take place in 2025, I am almost certain of that. It would more likely take place in the 2030s when the Chinese may already have landed there. It may never happen at all, given the deteriorating economic, political and social situation in the States, where there are huge problems like rampant gun violence in which mass shootings (where 2 or more people are killed and more wounded) seem to be taking place, not just monthly, not Judy weekly, but daily.
I couldn't agree with u more the average American only spends 6 cence a year of their taxes on the space programme, but they act like they are spending hundreds of dollars from their taxes, the amount NASA is able to achieve with its comparatively small budget is incredible but needs to be increased for both Artemis and Mars to be achieved. My mum is a moon landing denier and it honestly just showcases the ignorance and lack of knowledge the majority of these people have about the moon landing, she didn't even know there were any missions beyond 11😮💨. Even if the space program was cancelled that extra 20 billion won't do much it will more than likely just go to funding more war machines in the military, I work in the defence sector, but even I can admit it is severely overfunded. The F16 program alone constitutes about 80% of NASA annual budget. How about we go after the corrupt politicians and greedy business practices instead of our presence in space which has brought countless great benefits to the world.
Without the space program, we wouldn't have things like accurate weather satellites, advancements in medicine, scratch resistant lenses, and better materials for building safe roads. In my opinion, it is worth my tax money.
" a country which has so many people believing that Americans and others never went into space at all." Citation needed. "So many"? A few fringe nuts that get extra attention for acting like fools isn't a statistically significant number.
And the problems we have on Earth very much CAN be made worse with space travel. Where do these things launch from? Unpopulated areas, protected natural areas or areas that SHOULD be protected from the damage of rocket launches. What are they fueled with? Is that renewable and infinite? I think not. Super rich space tourists will happily burn the planet down so long as they can go off somewhere else or afford to survive. These kinds of missions, at least, matter but I don't think we can just defend space travel anymore without specifying what kind and for what.
You seem really pessimistic, btw. Not sure what your point is.
NASA we have in Silence a Problen , immediately I need my legs
"much better air conditioning in here"
😂
"A strong maybe" lol
Haven’t we already done this before?….
Yes… but it’s been a while lol ☺️
Artemis will have people inhapabating the moon for a long period of time, in preparation for a future mars mission
This program is to go to the moon and stay, set up permanent bases of operations, and use Luna as a “gas station” of sorts to propel us out to the rest of the solar system.
We are exploring. we have the talent and we need to move forward.
They should bring a UA-camr onboard to properly film everything.

Are they really lucky to be flying to the moon in the NASA's Artemis II ? Wait until they get back home safely first.
This is dark
What are the chances that the crew of Artemis II get re-called to now walk on the Moon? OR will the Moon be that Forbidden Fruit that... you could Watch all you can, but you cannot Touch?
With many Artemis Moon missions planned for the future, me thinks They've got a good chance!!!
They should land on the moon they did it right in the 60s

Are they even gonna land on the moon or just circle it?
She made it sound like they're going there to stay. 🙄
Orbits
Just circle it. Impressive huh? Welcome to 1965 -yawn- . . . our hard earned tax money hemorrhaging into outter space
They will be landing for one week in 2025 with artemis 3.
@@ComsiCaterpillare haven’t done it in about 50 years, we need to take precautions, hence why Artemis II will just be an orbit.
The other option is an increased chance of crashing and immediate budget decimation.
It will basically be like Apollo 9 just orbiting the moon, plus we got to develop a lunar lander
Don't care for the virtue signaling but anything that gets space exploration going is fine with me.
If they're going back to the moon that means they're not breaking any records, they're only maintaining an old record unless men never been to the moon 😏
They’re going physically farther from the earth than ever before, and they are *STAYING* on the moon. Don’t know if you listened with your ears, but we are going back there to stay, not tiny day-long surface missions as we’ve done before in the 70’s.
Wonderful interview, I think Americans have always known deep down that Canadians are their buddies. They live in the house next door. Now to go to the moon with your buddy, that's a cool thing.
