Hey there, my awesome bunch of bananas. I hope you enjoy the video. Just want to say I appreciate all of your absolutely tremendous support and a massive shout to my fantastic channel members. Thanks for your continued support. Take it easy all.
😄 well, I'm glad it tickled you 😄 I felt it necessary 😄 I will be comparing both in the next video to give it a good send-off and one last burn. Thanks for commenting, buddy. Take care.
😄 it is sad to see it go. The stainless version was better, but the ti bushbox was still a good stove. Thanks for watching. Take care. Have a great weekend.
😄 my time spent with the xl has given me great memories, but my needs have changed, and this will be my go-to stove now. Thanks for commenting. Take care.
It is a winnerWELL thought out stove for sure!........see what I did there! 😄 brilliant design and worked like an inferno right out of the gate! Well built and 100% titanium. Take it easy bud.
@BushcraftWithSteOutdoors thanks brotha same to you!! Yes I love my winnerwell stove its my best right next to my pomoly surprisingly but the steels Are not the same.. keep rocking mate ✊️🔥✌️💚
Very well demonstrated Ste, and well done demonstrating how to make a top down fire in the stove by placing the bigger pieces of wood below the top layer of kindling, a sure way to obtain good coals for your cooking too, assuming decent hardwood fuel. 👍🏻🏴🥃🖐🏻
Hey there, thank you very much for stopping by and checking out the video. I'm glad you found the demo entertaining. That style of fire lay definitely works for this stove! The draw is crazy! Thanks for commenting. Take care.
Bushbox have more flexibility in fuel variation still, due to higher position of front opening in combination with multiple opening positions on the sides and combination with small grill crate. For example I like to use it with wood pellets. And you have handy transport accessories ready during stove usage :) Only thing I don't like is problem with slightly bigger pieces of wood if you want to have grill crate on top. This part is much better solved in Winnerwell stove if you have it with stove stand.
That's a great point you make. Each stove offers its own unique features. For me, having a larger surface to cook on and use more pots is paramount present time. Thanks for stopping by. Take care.
I like the wider profile but I'm honestly happy with my canway gasifer and my kelly kettle w/hobo stove. Take it with a grain of salt tho because i mainly got those to cook and boil with post hurricane.
I bought the original of that stove long ago, hoping to love it! Unfortunately, it was not to be. It's OK for one boil, one burn. Extended cooking is out of the question unless you use wooden pellets, which kind of negates the intended use of the stove. This is a great stove to use in all manner of situations. It's very pricey, though. Take it easy.
Hello mate. Nice stove, will I buy one? Not a chance. If I was buying a new stove I'd probably go for the Winnerwell over the Bushbox but I'm not going to spend in excess of 150 quid to replace one titanium stove with another. Thanks for sharing. Be safe and be lucky man.
😆 Hey, Wol, me old mucka. I hope you are well, bud. See, you would be trading a 62% titanium stove with a premium 100% titanium stove, haha. The price to be fair to the winnerwell isn't much different from the £170 plus the Mrs paid for the bushbox. Also, at £93 the main stove can be used solo and at a massively reduced weight of 311g! Take it easy bud.
A nice looking stove ste 👌 but to be fair if it came in at a reasonable price for the package , then yes I'd buy one ,, as separate items ( not a chance ) brilliant review though 👊👍 ps only turn a steak once 😉🍺
@Gunslinger-1962-martin Hey Martin, great to hear from you, bud. Hope you are up on your feet. I wonder if they have thought of merging the stove and table together as a package? I know the table is only sold as an optional extra as the stove is perfectly functional on its own. The steak was only turned once, I promise! I just looked under the other side 20 times. 😄
@@BushcraftWithSteOutdoors Lmao man those stainless trivets really do bug the hell out of you don't they? I don't deny the Winnerwell is a good buy if you're looking for a titanium folding stove, I'm just not going to throw away the money I've already spent. As for the weight saving if the cubic capacity is the same that just tells me Winnerwell have used a less substantial guage of titanium plate to make their stove.Regards to J. Be safe and be lucky man.
@wolswildcamping1257 Hey, up Wol. The cubic volume is actually larger on the Winnerwell, although they have used thinner titanium in the construction. The edges of all the titanium have been folded to improve rigidity. The volume of the Winnerwell is 3457ccm, and the Bushbox is 2969ccm. It's not just the trivets that are stainless on the Bushbox also, mate, it's the drop-down ash pan which is also stainless and mine started to rust after use. I wouldn't say it's worse than the stainless version, but any rusting on a titanium product is just wrong, haha.
Thanks very much, my awesome man, for dropping by and watching. I'm very glad you enjoyed the video. The stove definitely lived up to expectations and more. Another quality piece of kit from winnerwell. Take care bud.
Great video. 👍🏼👍🏼 I’ve been hooked on the Emberlit stoves. The FireAnt is my favorite. Mostly because of its size and multi-fuel capacity. If I get a bigger stove, I think the Winnerwell will be my first choice.
Both cracking stoves them, buddy the fire ant is a top name for a stove too 😄 The winnerwell is and expensive one, but definitely my favourite to date. Have a great weekend.
Hey Ste, Wow! that is a great little stove, I like the design and how you can use it as a mini BBQ grill for steaks! also like your mod for adding the alcohol stove. Thanks for sharing. Now I have to add another volume to my wishlist..
😄 I bet the list is long now, Jeff 😄 it is a great stove for cooking on and plenty room on top for 2 pots rather than one. Thanks for stopping by, bud. Stay Crafty.
Good review, Ste. Thanks for that. I was never a fan of the bushbox style of stove with its "taller than it is wide" layout as I think it limits its applications. This new one's wider footprint makes it much more versatile. I use a small cheese raclette with coals for a brew and cooking bacon, pork, etc. on short day trips, but I would prefer a bigger (shoebox) size. I liked the honest reality of you showing what it looked like after the first burn. They dont stay pretty for long. And the "its not me, its you" scene was inspired. Thanks again.
Hey Liam, it's always a pleasure talking to you, buddy. I completely understand your perspective regarding the stove's form factor. This design simply makes more sense and renders it a far more practical stove. Regardless of the cost, this stove is definitely worth considering if your budget permits. Yes, it's a priority to showcase the stove after use, but as you rightly mentioned, they don't remain aesthetically pleasing for long. I'm happy with its condition after 2 uses. Thanks for dropping by my awesome fellow. Take it easy.
Hey buddy, great to hear from you, pal. It is a pleasure to use. I have two burns chalked up to it now, and it is so effective and easy to use. Price is up there, admittedly, but you get what you pay for, and in this case, you get a premium quality built efficient stove! Take it easy, fella 😉
Hey there, Shaun. Great to hear from you, pal. It is a large chunk of change, I agree. I'm currently on my second burn as we speak in the garden now, and I can only commend its performance so far! It is absolutely unstoppable when it gets going. I would say it's a definite investment, and it's worth the one-off hit in the pocket if you only wanted the one versatile stove. Take it easy, bud.
I'm 99.999999.9%, and I have made the right choice. The bushbox has served me well over a long period, but when a stove that suits your needs better comes along, you adapt. The bushbox is still a cracking stove, though. Cheers, pal.

Sent for free or not you did do a full demonstration to back up your likes and dislikes about the stove. Hey there, Mr Smith. Well, thank goodness for you, bud. There are viewers out there who appreciate a video for what it is! I know this because I have the best viewers 😉 thank you so much for the positive comment and your time. Is the fire box titanium full titanium? It is definitely the closest relative to the bushbox 😄 when I was looking at them . The only thing that swayed me to the bushbox in the very beginning was the odd shape of the fire box when assembled! Other than that, they have a wicked following. The winnerwell stove is fantastic. It's definitely worth a look if you are in the market for that beautiful third stove! 😄 Thank you for dropping by. Take it easy.
I know you didn't want to warp the top grill!!... but!!!!!!!!... you had problems flipping your stake because you can't put steak on a cold piece of metal... you should have warmed it first. When you flipped it back again it was easy because it had warmed by the time you originally flipped it.. ( does that make sense??) Anyway well put together, thank you.Take care out there.
Over coals, it should last a while before warping. Over flames it will warp significantly faster, although it doesn't affect performance in either scenario. Thanks.
That is a great question, buddy. It's really very simple. You can use the feeder tray with the stove and leave the table at home. The legs on the front of the tray level the tray with the front of the stove. Thanks for the question. Take it easy.
