@@rockyd6078 only notes and s models work with dex, the three newest gens if I remember correctly, and maybe their foldable phones. Some phones support HDMI connection, less fancy but pretty similar results.

I have the Moto G Play 2021 the one released this year it has a Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 460 with 1.8GHz octa-core Kryo™ 260 CPU, 600MHz Adreno™ 610 GPU processor in it will it support a USB C video playback dock or a USB Type C to HDMI video playback connection to my TV
You can also use it as a vr set. I like watching movies in it. It makes it look like a giant screen
I can't wait for the day the raspberry comes with a similar SoC
It won't, thats too expensive and no one will buy it.

How to add samsung dex to a M-series galaxy phone?
AKA how to profit off of someone elses debt or theft
How was this a good video idea, I am not sure. If you want to promote theft I guess. I expect better from the UA-cam channels I watch.
Please show us some Browser Games for The PC and Laptop or Tablet and Smartphone ☺️👍
Love the videos is it possible to emulate Xbox 360 games at all? Would love to see this.
Not yet, wait for a decade atleast
The S10 is more powerful then an Xbox360 by far.
@@meinfuhrer5041 Doesn’t mean it can emulate it.
watching this from my S9 Plus on dex
Dont buy blacklisted phones guys, if the original owner knows the imei its over

ah! i see, thank you 👍
Yes, you shouldn't buy stolen phones.
I'd be very interested in seeing this running Xcloud
His this only work with Samsung phones ?
Is there an alternative to Dex for the ones that dont have the S phone?
Why is the phone blacklisted? is it likely stolen?
Blacklisted.....hmm just a fancy name for stolen. As someone who has had their phone stolen ETA shouldn’t be promoting this. 9 out of 10 blacklisted phones are stolen. Rule of thumb, black listed and no box = stolen.
Don't buy things that are likely stolen. Even better don't make a video admitting you did, and encouraging others to do the same.
One with a Cracked oled screen but with functional touch is even cheaper.
Aesthetic bro
You know what, I love your channel because you think outside of the box, you really made my day with this video, I hope you and your loved ones are safe
So you can't watch 4k video If you connect it with 4k television?
Looks good if you already have the phone. However, a new Raspberry Pi is probably a lot cheaper and a lot more versatile.
A raspberry pi isn’t as fast and not very much cheaper though.
If the usage is with a TV like this video, a ThinkCentre Tiny could be a better buy right now than the Pi 4, depending on what accessories a person may need or have on hand. There are some tiny computers around that only need storage and a power supply, two things that don't come with the Pi 4 either. Yeah, the Pi 4 will use less power, but it also has less power. Both options are good, just adding another option for people who may see this. I'm biased because I just bought a couple of tiny desktops after looking at the Pi 400.
@@alejandroooow It's a lot cheaper. only $68 on amazon!
@@johnsmith-gs4qf you need to add up the charger, the hdmi adapter, the case (which needs to be good because they get very hot), the sd card, and possibly other accessories. That doesn’t sound so cheap to me, and you must keep in mind that the pi is way less powerful. Don’t get me wrong, a pi can be amazing but not in this case
@@alejandroooow You wrong! I RIGHT!
Waiting for Samsung to release next galaxy with sd888 and android 12 🥵🔥🔥🔥
Does the screen need to be on all the time while using desktop mode???
Nope
No, you cam close the screen. Saves battery and increases charge time. Probably keeps the phone cool, too.
Good to know. I have Huawei phone with desktop mode but you have to keep the screen on all the time, which is a dumb decision from Huawei
for digital artists on dex:
if you run your phone in desktop mode [or dex mode for samsung users] and you own or buy an old wacom tablet.. intuos or bamboo you can start drawing painting designing.
those old tablets work in desktop mode (because then the aspect ratio of the pentablet and the desktop are the same).
penpressure works and using apps like medibang, infinite painter or even krita (full pc version) for android you can start being an artist without forking out big money for a computer/laptop.
with a lapdock you can even do it on the go ...
130$ for that blacklisted phone is quite too much. even though, i would change the ixxei and fully functional again
I use to be able to pick up the S8’s for around 50 on my local CL but everyone is hiking up the price nowadays.
@@Zenik506 Don't be such a snowflake. It's up to him what he buys, I honestly don't see what it has to do with you
@@patrickrafferty1936 Promoting the trafficking in stolen goods sure seems like a sure fire idea for a channel. Wonder how long before this gets demonitized and a strike from UA-cam.
@@ETAPRIME Yes, you can buy all sorts of stolen stuff on CL, but you really shouldn't. Especially if you know, or can infer, it is stolen. You probably shouldn't make a video telling people to do that either. Sounds like aiding and abetting, or worse.
@@martinlebl631 it’s stolen?
I always enjoy your Dex videos. Great job!
Samsung has DeX since the S8 and SD 855 is still a great performer in 2021. So if you do value headphone jack a lot and don't care much about the camera, go for the S10 series. Furthermore, the S10 series is eligible for Samsung's three year OS update policy. What it means is that the S10 series will get Android 12 as its final major OS update.
Bro fortnite gameplay in samsung dex
If yours is old, then mine is dinosaur
I wish the tab s6 version of dex worked this way.
How is it different? Generally curious.
Or a DeX alternative for the tab s6 lite
You mentioned that blacklisted devices usually go overseas and I was wondering if that might be because a device blacklisted in the us will work in non us carriers, like Vodafone or Wind or Tim? I'm genuinely curious about this
You keep saying there is other betina rapping apps. Ok what are the names of them? I can't find them. Please I have been wanting one for a long time.

Very cool. I think this is what Apple is trying to move toward to with its push to make iOS and macOS the same system. In the next decade you’ll see them move away from laptops and move towards phones and tablets that can dock into screens like this.
If apple wanted to do this, they could do it tomorrow. There is nothing stopping them from allowing an ipad-OS like mode from an iphone except huge amounts of money.
I would love it if I could use "Dex" with an iphone, but it's never gonna happen. Likewise, I would love a touchscreen Mac with apple pencil support, also not happening because money
@@kaojaicam Three years from now, Apple should have no issues bringing Stage manager to the iPhone
Great setup in a Tiny House or RV,... When you get home you plug in your phone & you have TV & PC :)
here...let me show you how to still use a stolen cell phone.
Yeah, seems like a great idea to have UA-cam come after your monetization for promoting crime.
I own an S10 and Dex has become extremely handy for me. And I haven't gone into emulation yet but will give it a try.
Can you please tell me if you can get 1440p resolution with these adapters or just 1080p?
You have to be on Android 10!! Because USB Storage is not working on Android 11 anymore. So you can use external drive for Retroarch Roms. And if you need 1440p@120Hz and 4K/60 with HDMI Port you have to use this Dock: "Cable Matters USB C Multiport Adapter USB C Hub HDMI, DisplayPort, VGA, USB 2.0, Fast Ethernet, 60W PD in Black - Thunderbolt 3 Port Compatible for MacBook Pro, Dell XPS, HP Spectre x360 and More"
Interesting thought for use of a phone hat has no telephony usage.
My own concern is that a blacklisted phone is deemed as to having been lost or stolen, which begs the question regarding the legality of purchase.
Could the IMEI still be identified and flagged by other software, risking a knock on the door from the boys in blue for being in possession of stolen property?
Doesn't really beg the question. It is a receipt of stolen property, so a bad idea in any case.
I just read that the minimum requirements for Windows 11 to run is a Snapdragon 850. I've heard the 855 are practically the same as 850 but with 5G built in. I guess you shouldn't have any problem.
Actually, the Snapdragon 850 is a Windows 10 ARM version of Snapdragon 845.
I think I know the answer to my question but does a front end work with DEX?
Yep
Makes you ask why phone manufacturers haven't established a factory standard USB docking interface. Give an old phone new life as a booger picking, tricycle motors computer. You know, instead of being toxic landfill?
Why are the same forms of action labeled different. Everybody is a computer now. The lines have been broken already. Computing functions are all the same glorifying the same tasks because different companies are convincing you different things. Lol it’s nuts truthfully. And 9/10 people just do like 4 things, and they only go it rarely anyway no ones even utilizing any of the tools their phone like really
Walmart sells a working unlocked S10e for 160$ as cool as buying a blacklisted phone is most people should realistically buy a refurbished unlocked phone for just a little bit more Also the S10e and other phones use the 865.

One plus phones support I believe HDMI over USB. Is there any performance loss with just screen mirroring?
If you do wired screen mirroring, there shouldn't be any performance loss.
I dont know if you use keyboard and mouse for gaming. But i play with keyboard and mouse. And i find that when playing on S10. That when i hold down W to move and i hit control and space bar at the same time. ( i play warframe bulletting jumping) The phone stop thinking im holding down W. Do you know of a way to fix this?
There use to be (not sure now) a USB C adapter actually sold at Kmart Australia with DEX compatibility for $20. I think it was taken off the shelves because not many people knew what it was for. Might still be able to get it online. I have a similar adapter myself.
Is there a way to use the keyboard for similar touch screen functions? We used to have the Android HP Slate 21 which had a built in app with this option and I know Bluestacks also had this.
Stuck with a crappy exynos s10, hated it since day one. Weaker than a snapdragon 835. I hate Samsung with everything i got because of this scam they pulled on the worldwide variant.
