I loved how all the running lanes was filled perfectly 😂you can tell they practiced it alot
huh @Repent-and-believe-in-Jesus1
I was a walk-on for two years (not at Texas A& M) and all I can say is that was so cool to see. Those walk-ons do the exact amount of work as the scholar ship players without any of the "benefits" that the scholarship players receive. Nice job by the Texas A & M coaching staff for giving those players a memory they will never forget.
If they do good, they can get the scholarship
I’m not sure if you know this, but way back when, the kickoff team was always all walk ons at A&M (and consistently had one of the lowest yards per return allowed). It’s all based on some of our traditions, but even cooler, the coach that started the walk on kickoff team was present at the ACU game. Awesome moment, the only thing better would have been if we actually forced the fumble. The energy was insane though, by far the loudest the stadium got all day.
Nobody cares😢
Rudy vibes. Not enough of this in college sports, the level of excitement from the players on the field and sideline was contagious. A+
Thank you Texas A&M for that awesome moment in time. I hope we can all strive for that.
@repentandbelieveinJesusChrist1 I’m not so familiar with that quote. Was that Shakespeare or was that Fyodor Dostoevsky? No wait, that’s Hunter S. Thompson isn’t it???
“The whole team is on the sideline!”
Yep they are.
I had to get confirmation and we found out that some of the players were in the end zone, so he was not truthful with us.
This is AMAZING! So AWESOME Interim Coach did this, even better the kick coverage was so great and almost got a fumble recovery! Love this, so inspirational 💯❤️💪 🏈
They got out there and made something shake
This is pretty awesome. Good for them. Go Dawgs!
That's what's sports is all about
At playback speed .25 you can see it actually was a fumble. Ball is out before the knees hit the ground. Not sure if hands are counting as knees now or not.
Yeah, I think you’re right. The only thing I can think of is that it was already a 31-10 lead for A&M, with no real hope of ACU coming back with such a short amount of time remaining. Perhaps coach didn’t want to make the opposing team feel like he was rubbing their noses it in. Obviously I don’t know with any certainty, but like you, I also saw it as a fumble. Popped out just a couple of milliseconds before the ball carrier’s knee touched.
Imagine being a senior walk-on and not getting to even do this.
THAT’s when they throw the “37 men on the field” penalty flag!!!
They ought to be the regular kickoff team. People don't realize how much inspriration these guys bring to the game
Im a longhorn fan and this was still awesome to see!
It's things like this that makes college football the best sport. I don't understand how people just sit online and insult other teams all day. Yes I want my team to win but every place has it's traditions, history and golden ages that makes CFB the rich sport that it is.
Awesome to see this! These guys work just as hard (if not harder) as the starters and it's nice to see them get on the field!
The 12th Man - a great tradition! 👍👍👏👏👏👏
This is very awesome actually 😂
Imagine if they let up a touchdown 🤣
Once upon a time A&M would have all walk-on kickoff squads. An opponent ran one back and the coach decided "We'll have one walk on (number 12) on each kickoff to represent the spirit of the 12th Man.
It's happened before.
Back in the day they were one of the best kick off coverage teams in the country with the all walk-on team.
@@es330td except I think if you look at the stats, the all walk on kickoff team is one of the most elite kickoff teams ever in football. I think they consistently had one of the lowest yards per return in the all walk on days. It was a new coach that changed it to one player.
Jackie Sherril did it full time and it was incredible and the best kick-off squad in the country. Once RC took over he dropped it back to just one player wearing #12. About once a decade it comes out for a late game kick and it's just as intense and incredible every time. These dudes are usually insane.
Makes me emotional this is what football all about.
College football, gotta love it
Gig Em!
That’s good stuff.
Good for high school football coaches to see this video and learn something about how they treat their players.
All i seen was those cheecks by the cooler
Coolest thing A&M has ever done
Jackie Sherrill is the one who started the walk-ons for special team.
How cool was that !
guys with nothing to lose and everything to prove are going to work harder than anyone else out on that field
Number 43 got cracked. His knees buckled… 😂😂😂😂 He didn’t lay no boom down. He got boomed lmao😂😂
Yes the whole team is typically on the sideline….
But that was awesome. Love the heart before the kick off was even live.
Kinda smart to make your senior night against ACU, you get to beat up on an FCS team to say goodbye to your seniors
Low key most schools do their Seinor nights against the worst teams they can
@@Torpid6441 Iowa State did not get the memo.
We always do a lower tier team on the second to last game. The last game has usually been t.u. or LSU.
@@Torpid6441not in the big 12
Nothing is more dangerous than a bunch of walk ons with nothing to lose
Pretty cool actually lol
Reminds me of Rudy and Vince Papale(Invincible).
I like how well explained this was. I definitely know what I just watched. Oh well. They're not paid anyway
Buffalo Bills be LOVIN’ that 12th Man plan!!!!
Those walk-ons give more of an effort cause that might be the only time they ever get on that field.
43 got lit up on that hit but somehow got pushed onto the ball and the rest is history
It was Abilene Christian🤷🏾♂️
Fastest I’ve seen any team make it down the field
That;s actually pretty awesome. And I hate the aggies......but respect!
I believe the WHOLE team was on the sideline the WHOLE time 🤔
idiotic announcers all game.
Some were in the end zone so was incorrect
Great stuff even if you don’t like TAMU!
If you wanna know the talent level between division one schools and smaller schools this is a perfect example 😂😂😂… those walk ons could probably start on a division two school
The twelfth person forever🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Some Aggie traditions are cool.
National Champions next season
finally i see replay..yes a fumble..ball was loose a millisecond before ground..
look again closely..
..say what you will, you can defiantly claim fumble and yesterday the smugness was thick calling fumble..
my take was people interpret replays differently, as sad as that sounds, so i reserved judgement
...after extensive review,
it was fumble, close, but right call
look at the hand, look at the hand;
or don't .
10 men ready to make a football play. This is how you change an environment.
It’s a good thing a&m didn’t play New Mexico State last Saturday!!
I was focus on the women holding the two green bottles 😊
Gyaatt
should be playing them sooner
tHe WhOle TeAm iS oN tHe SiDeLiNe🥴
"The whole team is on the sideline"
Yeah bud, thats where they usually are. 😂
Wasn't a fumble though. Call was he was already down.
That was a fumble
Did they overturn the call?!
He was down
Hilarious that Aggie fans do the horns down when they aren’t even playing us.
I did enjoy watching the walk ons.
Lol us
Well it was a rivalry that was around way before any of us were. Difference between A&M and Texas is tradition. A&M has it and Texas doesn't.
can you imagine if abilene christian scored a TD on this return? it wouldve been hilarious
How cool is that you play Abilene Christian and are up 31-10 in the fourth that you can do that. Too bad that ACU isn’t joining the s e c. Lol gig em aggies. At 6-4 coachless. Heck start a 13 th man tradition. I wish I had the minor league network on my cable I might have seen it live as I was channel surfing between real games today.
It was a trash game for senior night lol. How much of a loser do you have to be to come to this video and comment this? Go do something productive
Hahahah with 3rd string players and walk ons that didn’t get much time on the field.. you’re bitter.. that same team beat miss state 51-10 last week. I guess you forgot that. Lmao it’s ok. You’re so bitter and weak. Look at you.. so small
The freakin commentator ruined it
A$M deserves better than they’ve been getting. But A$M fans don’t, so I guess it is what it is.
Throwing horns down and they're not even playing Texas, that's how stupid Aggies are 😂
Doesn’t really mean much when the game is over….against Abilene Christian 😂😂😂
This use to be their regular kickoff team back in the days and was the best in the country for a while.
“All-Walk-on Kick-Off Team”
Just say what you really mean to say
“All-the-white-guys that ride the bench and fill out the roster” 😂😂
saw a couple brothers i think too
You should learn something about college football. The team has 85 scholarship players and doesn't need to be "filled out." The walk-ons, of many ethnicities, are the players who want to be part of the team but were not offered scholarships. Texas A&M has a long standing proud tradition of honoring it's walk-on players on its kick-off teams. I'm a t-sip and even I know enough to respect their tradition.
@@Chudsicdon't disturb the racist
@@hippityhoppitydayumnot even that serious man, it’s a joke.
@@kdfan35 can't joke about that anymore, sorry.
What's even more impressive, is that they're only up 31-10 to a powerhouse 5-6 Abilene Christian team that lost 52-17 to Central Arkansas. Lol!
This is a team recovering from their head coach getting fired and is playing with a 3rd string QB. It makes sense that they only won by 28.
Any team can break off a kickoff return. The coverage was superb - lanes filled and made the contact pay.
With 3rd string players that didn’t see time this season and walk ons. When did you play? I’ll wait
You must not watch coll football
@@johnrion3232 So, you're one of those guys huh? "Did you play? I'll wait." Lol!
Like that's some sort of badge of honor, that qualifies only former players of a stupid game to have a valid opinion. Pretty sure there are several thousands of football "experts" who never stepped foot on a football field.
But since you asked:

My youngest daughter just turned 9, and wants to be a princess or a school teacher.
What's your resume?
Tom Brady is natural talent while Patrick Mahomes had to train to be great
Lmao hey bro you got something on your lip
@AlexisGonzalez-ds6oi he also lied too Brady was like a 6th rounder and wasn't good in the combine just chatting
The walk in team is almost as good as the overrated starters what a waste of talent. This program will continue to underperform and never win a ring again
aggies- scared to play the pumpjacks of West Texas👆
aggies- scared to play Fort Worth horned frogs
aggies- scared to play austin
Messi is the most Impactful and Influential player that has ever been in America
No one cares it's 🏈 season
Who?
Yet no one cares. Poor aggies 🤣
I mean, the 95k people that showed up to the game were all pretty hyped. Didn’t hit 100k like usual, but you know, it is an 11am game against an FCS team the morning after honoring those we lost 24 years ago only 8 hours prior, so that’s acceptable. Most college stadiums couldn’t even fit 60-70% of that anyways
@@McFarkle and still, no one cares.
Texass A&M has the dumbest “traditions”…😂
OSU sending their rejects to OU is a pretty great tradition 😂😂
Keep in mind Texas a&m fans all the comments I've been reading on Google about how they played better without Jimbo Fisher. Remember you're basically playing a high school football team. But I understand the players getting excited in this game they had had too much to be excited about all year. Next week in baton rouge and be back to the good old days of earlier this season.
Against, Abilene...lmfao
what is bro saying
It was Senior Night moron.
