Many artists do indeed understand exactly this feeling.There are moments where its very obvious to us it is not _we_ who are making things, but we are channeling something, bringing it into being. It tends to be our "best" work and also feels like someone else made it. Its a very different form of satisfaction than society tells us to aspire to.

it, after making beautiful drawings i always said that I didn’t do it and people always wanted to know how you do it and you cant explian it either. When the ego and personality gets to involved however you struggle to channel. Thats why artisit refer to getting into the the zone or flow.

Oh my frick. This is exactly what Ive been noticing the past few years when Im "in the zone", it's like my drawings, or writings, or sometimes even mathwork is creating itself through me. Im just a puppet for the universe at large right haha

Beaulin you are not your body, you are pure awareness. Your essence was never born, and can never really die. Or tell me: do you remember when you started to exist? This is proof that you have existed since before you remember. Some people remember previous lives, and some beings experience other beings life as their own. And yes, it is possible to steer a hurricane, but if you can do that, you will recognize the hurricane as perfect, and you will thus rarely interfere with anything if you really have that power. Things are being created and destroyed like this on a huge level, by awareness, we are simply not yet fully aware of how creation is unfolding. In reality, the creation is God dreaming not to be God, and when you wake up to the truth of who you are, is called enlightenment. I wish you well 🙏🏼
@@beaulin5628 Is not death and return to the Universe being part of the universe and therefore you are the universe? When we die we return to source, whatever you call it or believe. Your spirit returns to your soul and your soul continually exists. Energy is energy, it just changes. When you die you return to source and add your wisdom to the collective. That is the power of growth. Without growth nothing changes. We are NOT meant to be immortal, we are a part of that growth, we are with the universe not trying to be the power of the universe.

Yes as an Artist I found this to be true. I started glass mosaics as therapy and enjoyment. Money means very little. I made pieces and gave to friends. I would make really detailed pieces and not remember how I did it and stand back amazed and not able to believe what was in front of me. So very grateful and giddy with what happened. I showed a friend who then commissioned two pieces. I couldn’t believe it. Then a third piece sold. I stand back and trust the way will be shown when I start a difficult piece. I am so blown away about how this came together without me pushing or planning. It certainly is joyful. I am bubbling with excitement. The flow is intense. Exactly right riding a huge wave. It saved my life. Thank you.

Read the book "practicing the power of now" It is helping and sure it will help you.
It's usually the things we don't expect that come to fruition because there is less ego involved and consciousness is allowed to flow freely
There can be no consciousness without unconsciousness, there can be no action without an equal and opposite reaction. I've been trying to tell people, the ego is not some flaw in the divine plan, it's a necessary component. I know it sucks and is the cause of all suffering and all that, but without it there can be no free will and without free will there can be no chaos and without chaos there can be no creativity and without creativity no creation and without creation no life and no universe and no consciousness. A pattern is just static, dead, until an element of randomness is introduced. Chaos, unconsciousness, ego, the veil of forgetting, is a vital component in the body of God. Without the dream there is nothing to awaken from.

It comes to you. You think it's your own thoughts. It's pointless to try to manifest anything. It's already on it's way, hence the thought. This is not an 'ego' thought and is usually a beginning thought of the direction you will be going in to complete the path. We don't manifest anything by trying to force a spiritual practice, or asking in a prayer. Something is always coming towards you. It may not at all be what you think you want or need. It may be in a different form. I call them miracles for lack of a better term. It just happens, spontaneously, quickly, and surprisingly, all of a sudden. Yes, that's your path. No stress or anxiety is necessary just because it appears that it's not going the way you intended. Wait for it. Carefully, slowly, and purposefully walk the path. Don't fear when it looks 'bad'. That's difficult because our thoughts get in the way. We don't live in our thoughts but they try to take a stronghold in our mind. Look at it from outside of your mind, where you really are..
Once I let go it all came to me. Once I step into nothingness I became everything

I lost my imagination and creative nature with the worries of life but I noticed how my desire to create was so noticeable after awakening. This was beautiful to listen to and understand this desire inside of me that has been so missing in my life for far too long. I am thankful for waking up. It’s a blessing!

Just experienced an amazing synchronicity. Me and a friend are playing a gig tonight and I asked archangel sandalphon for support. I was told to focus on enjoying the process rather than getting it right, and also that it's not about me, I am merely the channel. And then I was listening to something on UA-cam and my phone changed to this video in my pocket. EXACTLY what I needed to here about the creation process and not letting ego get in the way. Being aware of the energy field with which you are approaching the whole thing. Thank you Sandalphon, and Eckhart brilliant as always 👍
Once the Ego shuts up, things become easier to live. It's a routine to be done. If the Ego appears and does anything to make you worried, afraid, anxious, you must demolish it immediately. I know it can be difficult because everything in a day is made to make you mad. But It's the game. If you take life as a game you will walk on Earth more positively and the Universe will flow through you. It's a chanelling. Because the Universe doesn't answer to heavy questions, the Universe prefers the lightness. That's why people who are destitute and complain all the time about their situation remain in the same situation. It's that I understood. The lightness is the key even things are hard to live, you must keep a big lightness into you.
I agree, I believe life is a game to be played and experienced and when I interact with others or my environment in a lighthearted way filled with joy and love, opportunities seem to open up more for me and things are just easier in general. Your comment validates what I have been intuitively told a lot lately, "it's just a game don't take things so seriously!"

Someone once said meditation is the most creative thing you can do.
I believe this is the perfect description of how art comes into being.
I learned to sing and it was so difficult and it led me to this. Two years into it, and my instructor said I found it. I never felt that before and it was new to me. Now I can do vibrato and all sorts of cool things. It's really in music, if you have the drive to find it you will find it. If you don't you will always be a product of someone else. It's detachment from the physical. If find it, don't loose track. This teacher came to me at the right time. I had no idea what I was doing even people I knew where like how are you doing that? I couldn't explain it to them. It was so difficult. The only way to explain is airflow. A push and a pull. I can feel both and I know when I fall out of it as well. You get very aware from singing. I don't believe in things people say anymore cause the answers are within. How can your mind logicalize something from someone else? It can't. It's all expression. How do you feel? Now go even deeper, drink in the emotion feel what you want. You should tilt like a pendulum then you can go oh, wait that is to then pull back from it. Lightness and darkness.
Thank you so much for this particular q&a! My awakening was spontaneous-this time! The first time I was young and alone, then met a person who introduced me to many such concepts. That was 30-40 years ago! Skip a bunch, then a voice in my head-NOT the self-talk voice, which was immediately evident-told me something like “You are not who you think you are. You’ll never go back to being that, and you’ll never want to or need to. You won’t live that old way anymore.” I’ve been rejoicing ever since, and esp when next thing I knew I stumbled upon Eckhart Tolle! Wow have I been walloped up side the head, no pain involved

The first time I read one of his books I was 15. It was the power of now. I never understood it as I do today, but I knew there was something in his words that interested my soul. Today, at 27 years old I finally understand these words. Please don't be discouraged if you don't think you are grasping enlightenment. It is not something easily obtained. Take care beautiful souls.

Me too! After reading The Power of Now, I got it on audio because the book spoke to me so much and I wanted to absorb more of it through listening. I had no idea how relaxing his voice would be. I can't tell you how many of his audios and videos I have watched. Everything from the pointers in his book to the relaxing cadence of his voice is amazing.

@@jacksmit4332 You may be right. Do you mean "Singin' in the Rain"? Lots to love in that movie! Especially the comic dance number by Donald O'Connor! He was a comic dancing genius! I've always been a "reflector" in life, for better or worse. But I find I'm happiest when my attention is drawn outside of myself rather than inward. I get bored with "my little self." The world, thankfully, is much larger and more vibrant!

As for dancing, I love watching good dancers, and I even tried a lesson or two of tap dancing. I was about 18 at the time, and all the other students were women, so I felt embarrassed and quit. Too bad--I enjoyed the one or two steps I learned in that class!

Eckhart Tolle has this ability to speak in such a resonating way. I feel like one of those people sitting in church nodding as the priest talks. His teachings and talks have improved my life 10 fold. And I cannot thank Eckhart enough.
I stressed myself out today. I thought a friend gave away my box of k-cups coffee that I liked and purchased to drink when I visited. It was such that I upset my stomach and mentioned that I probably won't be there visiting anymore. She called me and mentioned that she had placed those few that were left into the other boxes! I looked and it was true. Oh my gosh! I was totally out of alignment and over nothing important at all. Thank you for the video. Tame the ego. It manifests in many ways I matter how spiritual we think we are becoming.

I'm on that wave, the intensity of it is exciting and I feel connected to everything. Eckhart just described what has been happening to me since I woke up, a slow creative process of writing a novel with spiritual teachings for young adults. It has taken years to get the story right, it started as a short fairy story but the process of writing opened up channels and creativity within me. It's so good to hear what I have been going through explained so well. Thank you Eckhart, now I know it's normal to feel this way. X

I knew this after I realized ... we “get” by giving . Giving is also receiving. And he mirrored that knowing with this teaching .the whole universe is behind us.
There was a time when I was experiencing unstoppable suffering, emotionally and physically I urgently started seeking for something to do with this that could liberate me from suffering. One week or two weeks after I find the way and started practicing it since I get up in the morning until I fall asleep in the night. day after day I was Aware, I put all my energy and effort to stay in that state by avoiding mind patterns. I witnessed I started to feel better slowly day after day, peace and joy in any moment

@@Aleksandra.DaGreat Thank you Alexandra! That's a true, as Eckhart says, challenges are there almost everyday, hopefully we have an option, the Awareness. Without it, we fall immediately in the suffering when challenges come to us. As you say that's everyday a job we owe internally. And gratitude to know at least what to do in the moments of crisis and challenges.

Now I only practice Awareness every time I could, every day and night.

When this creative awakening hit me it was like a slap in the face. An idea came to mind and I knew I could create the idea and make it reality. The experience was intense. Just knowing every step of the way what small things would give me trouble but also at the same time knowing the required action to correct it. Thank you for explaining a bit and furthering my understanding. I am grateful.
I've been experiencing exactly what he speaks of and this video -- and the comments below -- are so helpful. Five years ago, I nearly OD'd from buried trauma and the spiritual awakening followed --- while painful -- led me into a kind of creative vortex that, no doubt, looks like madness to those around me. And yet it pulls me. Every day. And the calibre of work is EXTRAORDINARY. I am most definitely just a vessel. It's such a relief to have a place to express this. : )

When I was studying the ancient Egyptian "parts of self," one was called the kaibit (sp?). I believe the ego - and the energy that created it - had an initial purpose for socializing and interacting with groups of individuals...for survival. The ego meant to support the soul's experience here as an incarnation. But the poor thing got the crap beat out of it! We are made up of many selves, many parts...each with a personality, the ego - from this horrible centuries long beating - became F'd up....agreed? In anything we do, the F'd up ego personality can get activated and entangled, but our work is to acknowledge it, feel it, love it, forgive it and get it back to it's place of serving the Soul? I hope that was as well said as my ego thinks it was... *chuckle, chuckle* Much love to All...where ever you are on your journey. Please try not to be afraid of Anything! Peace out.

🔑 The key of Awarness - focus your breath
I have felt this the strongest when acting. If a scene is working and I'm completely out of the way and the audience is with us 100% it's like magic. I'm not doing it at all but it's being done through me. Very intense energy and no it's not stress it's magic. You have to get out of the way.
I'm just following where my soul leads me. Following my intuition. My joy, peace, happiness is my GPS. Thank you Sir! ♡

I am one of the MOST creative people I know and it is SIMPLY because I listen to WHAT WANTS TO TAKE FORM... and then I obey! But it has to be FUN!!! It's all about consciously having FUN and that can look like cleaning out a closet. You never know where cleaning out a closet will take you. Seriously. It can take you to the Moon and back. It's about following that tiny spark of EXCITEMENT inside of you and locking the 'SHOULDS' in the bathroom. Don't be afraid. Stop being GOOD. Be authentically YOU. Who knows what that looks like?

Sometimes also (personal experience), it may be that we become aligned with the flow of life and hence the “plan” that arises as “mine” is recognized as the plan of the very whole.
So sometimes we don’t “plan” going anywhere, any other city, but there is this natural will that comes from within, calling us to go there. Then we start planning the hows and whens.
But where is this will coming from? Apparently from “within”, but it’s the universe’s will. And when we follow it, magical events happen.

The subsidence of the so-called ego, the Self, the subjective sensation taking place as a brain activity, can be discovered when searching for order, composition. This order cannot be predetermined to its appearance under the eyes, ears, nose, touch, taste. When order appears it appears - it is sensed into existence. On a deeper level, Eckhart is actually talking about gratitude. Gratitude is all about realising "we are not creators" and that we owe the Source sincere thanks for every single act of creation happening through us and in our life.

OMG ... this isn't the first time I've watched a video about being spiritually awake, of course. I spend a lot of time and energy and dedication to exposing myself to spiritual lessons ... and yet at 4:00 I was blown away by his clarity on what is very ephemeral concept. My second Eckhart video ever, and a total convert.

Yes ..I have felt that it is so wonderful and found myself at peace so sweet as I started aligning to the universe ...just peacefully following its plans for me. This way happened to me few years ago so naturally that I just had that knowing feeling of the ways universe works. My intuition was always strong even as a child and few years ago I experienced a few surprising things as well...like knowing all of a sudden who all are walking behind me while I am returning from school after dropping my kid..it lasts for 1 hr or so. Now when something disappointing happens to me also I don't feel much disappointment ...just feels a little sad but I am really ok with what happened knowing that the universe had a good reason to do that. My inner world is so peaceful nowadays. I get a signal or some knowing about some things early on often. They happen within almost 1month. It is actually as you said like riding a wave effortlessly when we just get aligned with universe. Thank you for the fine video. -- Preethi

It's so beautiful what starts to arise from that space of consciousness in your life once you become aware of it. No, you can't plan anything whwn you let universe take controll. Then you are just powerless puppet. This is absoutely scarry and terryfying for me. No matter who you let to take controll: god, satan (they are the same being!) universe, whatever. For me, it's better to be dead. And worst is, that you really can't die. Pure hell. You have absolutely no choice. You are slave of universe.
Only those who were 20-30 years totally powerless to their fate knows, what i am talking about.

When creating something for the good of others and you feel stuck or a temporary block, relax and let things be for a while, till it comes naturally to you. Whatever you need to continue ( thoughts or ideas) will comes naturally to assist you. If God wants it to happen through you then it will happen. Relax and go with the natural flow. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
The production quality of this teaching is superb. Eckhart comes across more vividly than ever.
Free will implies a separate ego. When we choose and try and steer life according to our limited self, it is always partial and doomed for failure since the illusory self cannot be satisfied.
Once this is dropped however, we allow life to unfold on its own.. thy will be done. This takes an enormous level of trust and surrender, in our culture we are almost totally conditioned to use the mind to guide us through life, which may very well destroy our species.
If one looks deeper the idea of surrendering to a Universe separate from us is nonsensical. Surrender is basically realizing your unity with the Cosmos, while remaining an individual aspect of it (of course nobody can deny the individuality inherent to it - if a man breaks his leg down the street, I still remain unaffected by his pain, unless I choose to become involved with it)
Free will still exists, but most people do not understand what it actually is. Free will is not something you have, it is something you are. You are freedom and you are will.
Why not just drop the mind? Is it necessary to have a mind?
TTYL NRN thats the same thing. Mind and ego and sense of self, the problem with spirituality today is there is so much vocabulary and every using a different set of words for the same thing but then other people using it for slightly different meanings, its a huge mess.
To be totally technical and scientific about it, we are basically referring to the default mode network in the brain, which is responsible for the sense of self/separation as well as spacetime. Prolonged meditation is able to reduce the activity here, so that there is no more doer, just a synchronized doing.

@@geespar1 those with Alzheimer's still have a mind though. Only their memories are gone. Without mind (in the narrow human sense) one cannot function at all, there would be no thoughts whatsoever. Without the mind in the broader sense, in terms of metaphysical idealism, where spirit / mind (being the creative aspect of spirit) is all, nothing can exist - since ultimately every aspect of manifested creation is mind. Thoughts are what everything is comprised of, thus even material things are simply thoughts in "dense" form.
I am still reverberating and healing from shattering last year --divine of course- and I wish nothing but to surrender to whatever comes. Just want to flow , a river of trust and surrender, and watching as the movement happens. I feel like I might never initiate an action again. I am radiantly aquiescent? casey eckels, I feel the same way. After I got out of the military, I had my Awakening. It has been a VERY ROUGH two years, I almost didn’t make it. Now I’m basically agorophobic and just sit at home, biding my time until I know what I want to do. I know what I don’t want, but not what I do want. Now, is doing nothing just wasting time, or am I waiting for some A-HA moment and start helping the world? I don’t know at this point.
@@zp6097 hey i was trying to respond to you and may have erased it accidentally, or not, so if this info comes twice...i just watched piece called Free the Mind on Amazon Prime about techniques to work with PTSD and Vets...you might check it out. also, i buried myself in Eckhart, Taoism, a sage called Mooji, Tara Brach an d Abrham Hicks, also the course in Miracles that ET talks about, ..all very different styles of pointing to the same space. i am graced to be with an income that frees me from working right now, after an intense wonderful career in the environmental sustainability field. The Voice i hear says Be Still and Heal now.

I too, am biding my time - I can’t rush into something for the sake of it anymore. So unemployed, not studying and just fulltime caring for my 20 year old Autistic Son. I can’t spread myself out so thin again.

I think maybe ourselves are trying to put us in this spot where we don’t do a damn thing till we get down a couple levels to our more authentic selves. Once I get going on something, I will go full force with it. All acceleration, no steering. So, I am finally taking time to plot a course first, THEN screech tires and burn rubber down the road! I’m 44 too! 😁

I went from an incredibly shy person who rarely posted a picture of myself to making comedy videos and singing and posting all this on youtube!
