This is how good printed instructions are concocted, and now that we use video to deliver instructions we employ the same methods. The cost has nothing to do with it. The part was designed to be versatile. If we put several holes in the closeout for it to be universal for every use case will it be a closeout still? No, it will be a panel with a bunch of holes through it. Our aim is to serve as many different needs as we can, without disappointment. If you look at all the marketing materials we publish, read the product page and view "what's in the box" photos, view our installation videos, you will see before purchaing what he product is, what it includes, and what it doesn't have, then you can comprehend ahead of time what you are buying. This way you can evaluate if it is right for you before making your purchase. This is why we put so much time, effort, and money into proper showcase of each product in words, images, and video. With all this we aim to cut down on disappointment, and get more of the response we are after...which is satisfaction. But since we are on the topic, and you are already a customer, then I would like to hear how you would solve the issue I described. Let me just get this one out of the way...it is impractical to hold inventory of every use case closeout already pre-drilled. I hope you consider this and give me constructive feedback.
We can't possibly answer that in any confident way. There are so many sub cages out there and they have their mounting and geometry differences. We have not surveyed any compatibility to date, because it would be an incomplete project with only a few different types that we can possibly commit to.
They are called posi-tap connectors made by Posi Products. We have an OEM deal with that company that entitles us to sell tham as a sub component of our kits. We cannot sell them as a standalone product. You can find them at AutoZone, other car parts retailers, ACE Hardware, etc.
Just picked this mount configuration tonight. Man, it's definitely going to look so clean. Well done gentlemen.
