Keep up the good work! Spinoff show idea: haircuts in CLT.😂 These barbers overcharge and average at best. I had to try 10+ barbers when I moved here. Charging $30-35 for a cut and an additional $10 for beard mustache trim. Don't get me started on the hairlines. I tell them not to touch my hairline at all!
I don't eat the white gravy... stomach can't handle it. Those hasbrowns looked RIGHTEOUS!!! First time seeing someone eat them with mushrooms! Love it!
I'm with you on that. I use to eat there all the time. I think they give you a choice of white or brown. Livermush and egg on white bread, lightly toasted with some grape jelly 😋

I ate here while visiting the city. The staff is nice and the food is cheap and good. Real good. Instead of the flounder, I had the catfish. If you like Maria’s, try Sunflower. I promise you’re gonna love it.

As someone who loves a good biscuit and gravy, that gravy was a borderline crime. No pepper, terrible texture, and I swear it looked like the sausage was diced instead of cooked-then-crumbled up into the gravy.
Listen, if you want a real good soulful breakfast, try some scrapple with grits cooked right and scrambled eggs and toast simple but the bomb if cooked right

"liver tastes like metal" well yea if you dont know how to cook it chime it will taste like that xD. my mother makes liver on the stove cooked while its swimming in lemon juice and its the best thing ever. it doesnt have a hint of any gamey or metallic flavor.
Liver has that Irony taste which comes from minerals in your blood which cleans out through your liver with water. Most people with anemia should eat alot of liver especially fried Chicken liver.
