Honestly I have zero idea if this fight was actually meant to be done with a team even, like with the amount of buffs don gets and most of the attacks being very easily evaded when there’s only one or two ids. And also the amount of filler turns at the start meant to fill up the blood bar or whatever making it extremely easy to gain additional skill slots and set up your conditionals makes this fight much easier when you’re just soloing it
Btw my run with cinq don solo got her skill 3 rolling a comical 41,manchaland Quixote couldn’t even do nothing about it with the last skill he throws out. I wasn’t even trying all that hard I was focusing mostly on the story.
Funnily enough, I've beaten this fight pretty much *without* Don. She was there, of course, because she has to be, but for the last ~70% of the battle (so basically from the beginning of the actual fight) I only used her Evade skill and nothing else - it was W-Corp Don, for the record - because she had a truly *obscene* amount of Bleed on her and would intstantly explode into red mist upon initiating *any* clash. And while I was perfectly aware that during their final climactic battles the relevant Sinners almost always have a hidden buff that makes them effectively immortal as long as there are any other allies left alive, I had absolutely zero desire to test that theory in case it turned out to be wrong. And so my Don was relegated to Evade duty with, like, 40/10 Bleed on her and 5 total HP left, while everyone else pathetically struggled against the OG Don (except Barber Outis - she was regenerating a million HP per turn and winning every single clash with ease).
Yeah team was probably meant, but rather it’s supposed to have the sinners be absolutely cooked throughout as once you get to the final sinners the extra slots go to surviving members so don Quixote can get more slots to finish the job if she’s slotted 1st. Since you get the ego gift which gives sp when ally dies you can get away with a lot of bodies. So leverage the early phases with strong identities, they die, finish the job with quixote and whatever small crumbs of the team are left. Essentially don’t give up, fight through, my main issue was prematurely giving up. Course don has been since the beginning the solo champion, so that works too.
To add to my earlier reply, since don can’t die while other sinners are there, you can always end up at the don solo scenario unless she has omega bleed amounts on her(again, can’t die so just attack to lose count). Since all her identities are leveled for this I assume the solo being powerful was clearly intended so players don’t gotta leave the dungeon.
@@h1ghfell680exactly me reaction, I brought GOT, Fluid sack and Pursuance and Lob Corp Ryoshu and yet I still lost like 8 sinners but managed to beat it first try
I found the easiest way to defeat this boss. Use E.G.O: Lantern Don Quixote under Lobotomy E.G.O: Red Sheet Sinclair's passive. Don heals all HP with Skill 3, has 0.5x Pierce damage, and with Sinclair's passive, destroys the boss. Skipped phase with horses btw
You can stagger him quickly or evade him. If you bring Lantern Don solo and Talis Clair for burst, if you want to evade it then a trick for solo run is that you can use is put an evade skill to clash with Be impale or any skill with unbreakable coins and then put another skill to clash with said skill, after the clash the unbreakable coin will attack into the evade. I recommend solo, all Don ID and EGO are at lv50 and Uptie 4 for this fight, she also receives a lot of offence level and clash power up.
I mean this boss is easy, the only threatening thing about him is the Be impale skill. He only uses it in phase 1 so if you get past it with burst or evade then this boss is a joke. Also Don gets mega buff in this fight.

Nay, her name is Quixote or Don Quixote if you'd like. "Don" as a sign of her nobility

13:18 am i crazy or is there a noise reminiscent of the fanfare that usually plays in her ego here
It kind of sounds like a firework or something

N Don is resistant to their attacks + the new EGO gives healing regularly and in corrosion
