How exciting you're going to the UK!! It seems like they have quite a few options from what I've seen. Would love to visit someday. For TJ's 'fish', I really appreciated that they're gluten free as I can't have gluten anymore. They're okay but it's great to see a gf mock meat option

I like the omni potstickers. They carry them in my local Walmart. I like them best fried on one side in sesame oil until golden, then I add a bit of water, cover my pan with the lid, and finish cooking in the steam. Definitely one of my favorite ultra processed vegan foods.

Remedy kombucha is an Australian brand and I am so excited to see it being brought to the US! they are my favourite kombucha brand here. The passionfruit flavour is epic!

The OUI coconut yogurts in the little glass jars are hands down the top plant based yogurt ever made. You should try it if you haven’t!

God I LOVE siggi's yogurt, even as a person who hates coconut. I'm also a kite hill mainstay girlie for the protein, but those siggi's yogurts when they're on sale at whole foods with two little abe's lemon poppy muffins is the best breakfast 😭

It’s a bit of a mystery why someone would go to the trouble to send them if that’s all they are.
I know! Does it say “coating” under the ingredients? Cause the coating ingredients would be listed separately.
I throw some nori & old bay on the TJs fish filets & cook them way longer then what they recommend & I actually like them!

I love the Trader Joe's vegan cream cheese best, it reminds me of the Philadelphia cream cheese that used to come in a brick. Also, Tofutti tastes so real. TJ fish filets are awesome..! The texture is like a British fish n chip fish fillet, beer battered vibe.
I haven't tried the TJs cream cheese in a minute. I wasn't a fan last time but I think they've changed!

Love these videos!! I'm so excited to see what you think of our vegan food in the UK! If you're doing any supermarket taste tastes I think fun things to try would be cadbury's/galaxy vegan chocolate or lots of our biscuits (cookies) are accidentally vegan like bourbons/jammy dodgers. Also fun 'traditional' british things to try would maybe be M&S' Percy Pig sweets (which are now all vegan!!) or a Gregg's vegan sausage roll haha

I was really surprised to find that the Amazon fresh brand vegan cream cheese is absolutely amazing! The perfect amount of tang plus it's super creamy. So if you have an Amazon fresh store nearby, I highly their brand of vegan cream cheese.
I just got those fish fillets from Trader Joe’s yesterday. I got their fries too for fish and chips. Hope I like it. Will try soon.

I have tried the Trader Joe’s fish fillets. They are excellent and to me they taste exactly like battered fish. In my experience it is not mushy inside at all- I cook everything in the pan, no oil, and texture was perfect and flaky just like fish. It has a great texture and taste in my opinion and they nailed it. They are going for the essence of the taste and texture, but vegans sometimes annoy me with their overanalyzing of everything as if they are expert scientists in a lab. If vegans have such snobbish, unrealistically high standards that everything should taste exactly like meat, then you are still a slave to your tastebuds and you might as well go back to eating meat. If someone gave me this and told me it was fish I would believe it. Just enjoy things and appreciate what they are offering. It’s about tricking the mind into eating the plant based option and they’ve accomplished it in my opinion.

Yes it’s my first trip to the UK! I’ll take any recs :) And we had to get rid of some of our stuff. But we didn’t have a lot to begin with. And because this place has a dining area, and our last one didn’t, it looks even more empty. But we’re looking for affordable furniture!

I found it hard to beat Gardien Fish fillets.amazing imo..
I’ve only had the Gardien and looking at the texture of the TJ’s thought it would be a tough comparison. Gardien is frighteningly accurate.

I think the nuggets are meant to be breaded and seasoned to your own liking. Like naked meat you can use in your recipes free of predetermined flavors lol

I think the gardein f’sh fillets are wayyyyyy better than the Trader Joe’s version. I keep the gardein in my freezer on the regular. I won’t buy the Trader Joe’s one again

That kite hill protein yogurt is the absolute worst. I like the silk greek style yogurt. It's really good.
