While I appreciate the comments and opinions of everyone please keep in mind that everything being said was thought about in depth constantly over the last couple weeks before this decision . Take care and stay safe .
glad to have you back home in CA
Stay safe Adam, you’re a national treasure, we need you!!
Thank you for the familiarity Mr. Woo! Stay safe
@Blue collar Silver dollar Very well stated!!!!
Thanks for everything you do, and thanks for being a good example- staying smart along the way.
“I got the whole row to myself.”
....you got the whole plane to yourself.
Lol
My Dad is a pilot, so I've spent a significant amount of time spend in airplanes and in airports. This is so profoundly strange to see. This video will be a peculiar historical document someday, documenting this bizarre moment in history we're living through. Glad you made it home safe, and a big tip of the cap to the folks who helped get you there.
Famous Among the Barns I’m amazed they didn’t cancel that flight.
@@wesrm1 At this point, i think whatever flights they can get because so few people are flying.
Famous Among the Barns They are operating at a loss aren’t they. They probably lost money and didn’t even break even on that flight. In normal times that flight definitely would have been cancelled wouldn’t it.
I didn't think they ever turned off the moving sidewalks.
Its just like 911 when they pulled all the planes from the sky. Its a moment in History.
As much as I hate crowded airports and planes, flying that empty just feels creepy!
Reminds me of the made-for-TV movie "The Horror At 37,000 Feet" from 1973.
the langoliers
No its not creepy that the plane is empty. Whats creepy are you obedient government slaves. This is the direct result of YOUR obedience because you haven't yet realized that as you praise flags and pigs (police) while singing anthems with your right hands over your COWARDLY hearts, you have failed to realize that TYRANNY has become LAW. You have begged, marched, fought, voted for, and DEMANDED the chains that bind you. CONGRATS! The only thing "creepy is YOU.....
@@sandsrealestatewest663 Are you really this messed up or did you mean this as a joke?
Either with pandemic or not, either with full planes or empty planes , either full of people at the airport or not.people always never satisfied regardless what the situation is there always human beings complaining.full planes complaining, empty planes feels creepy.come on people come to your senses.
that was eerie to watch....felt like we're living in a TWILIGHT ZONE episode right now....stay safe Adam!!
No coughing? No little kids crying? This is one eerie plane video!
Its like a private jet...
Duke of Haas I was seriously thinking this is the cleanest I’ve ever seen a commercial plane ✈️
Duke of Haas I went Vegas week before they closed not one person coughing!! It was busy too
Our original comment was made to illustrate that during a typical onboard airline video (often the take off and landing portion of a specific flight) one usually hears in the background adults coughing and fussy kids crying. The fact that this background din is not heard on Adam's video only reinforces the notion that the plane is far from full and therefore we are all living in a creepy and historic moment in history. The coughing observation has nothing to do with the current Covid-19 pandemic...coughing is simply part of the background noise one usually hears during any commercial flight. We apologize if our original comment was opaque.
Gotta feel weird to fly at time no one at airport really and no traffic around or on plane much now. not sure when ever see that again after we get past this virus chaos.
I understand your need to go home. Please be careful. Many prayers that you and yours stay safe, healthy and in his loving hands forever! 🌹
Thank you
“Feel free to change seats if you want, just not one near us.”
😂😂😂
An almost empty plane would be a treat for me, lol.
Ikr
Glad you made it home safe. How strange seeing normally crowded places so empty.
Thanks buddy
I really hope we get over this pandemic soon. My hearts go out to everyone who has been impacted, everyone who is currently ill, and everyone who is not ill trying to stay healthy. Everyone is in my prayers. We will get through this!
We will be like this for at least another 6 months until a vaccine come out. So we have to decide to keep the economy shutdown for another 6 months or go back to normal.
When swine flu happened in 2009, nothing was shut down and that was just as bad as this virus.
I hope so thanks for your prayers
We won't get through it with idiots like this woo guy walking around disrespecting everyone
@@dennis1345 I'm not sure he's doing any harm he's walking in quiet places away from people.
@@dennis1345 It is not his fault. He obviously waited until almost no one is flying.
The big problem are they still have international flights. But in general all passenger flights should have been grounded at the end of February.
Our government is horrible and has done nothing. If they shut down flights at the end of February, then most of the spread would have been stopped.
It made my heart sink a bit to see Orlando (MCO) empty, no happy vacationers excited for their upcoming adventure. Glad you are home safe and sound!
Kudos to flight crews everywhere for having to come in and shuffle the masses around. They too need to be commended and thanks for doing so. Welcome back to SoCal!
“The masses”?
FILMSTUFF STUDIOS thanks so much for the recognition my daughter is one of the amazing brave flight crews who bring passengers home
That’s for the shout out for us Airline workers! It’s weird loading flights with hardly any bags or passengers. Hopefully this will end soon and we can get back to a semi normal life! Love your videos! Stay healthy and safe!
It’s a blessing essential workers are still at it . Thank god
@Richardo Frankie And even with less than half as many cars people STILL can't merge!
When Disney World opens back up, you all stay home so I can have the park to myself.

@@spiker039 I think attendance will be noticibly down. I'm planning on going opening week to test my theory, and I'm sure Adam and the rest of the Disney vloggers will too..

Can’t wait to go back to Universal ! 🙏🏽😃
They will never open again. Sorry. 😢
Very eerie! I have certainly never experienced travel like this. Thanks for sharing your travels.
Flight attendant here and I’ve had no more than 20 people on my flights.. and that’s being Generous.. I’m talking less than 10 people on my flights .. 😳 glad people are listening and staying home
Blue collar Silver dollar I’m on a regional aircraft .. only holds 79 people .. it definitely is surreal seeing the airports empty but it’s for the best right now .. :/
When is your regional filing bankruptcy??
I'm glad your able to work still. Thank you
MEL-JaY why did they turn off the lights during the flight?
Craig Campbell it just depends on the flight attendants .. we always have them on before take off and final decent and that’s to do our compliance checks .. other than that we have them either completely off or on low lighting
Adam: I'm going back to Cali, Cali Cali. I'm going back to Cali.
His parents: I don't think so!
Great footage. Thank you! It is interesting to see how empty the airport and the plane were. Welcome back to Cali!

Surreal. Thanks for documenting your flight, Adam!
There’s something about watching this that’s terribly sad. To quote the Wicked Witch of the West as she melted near the end of The Wizard of Oz, “What a world.....what a world”.
Wow. Thanks for showing us what it’s like out there. I can imagine it must have been strange seeing one of the worlds busiest airports a ghost town. Great vlog. Thank you Adam. Stay safe.
Looked like the zombie apocalypse with the empty airports. Enjoyed the plane ride! Glad you were able to get a flight home.
Thanks for taking me on the plane with you I've never been on it was pretty cool for me to see.
It hardly look like you were even moving from that high up. Which is amazing.
Thanks for the virtual experience.
Thanks for the ride but next time can you get us a bag of peanuts and a ginger ale? Thanks and God bless
Glad you made it back to LA safely. Thanks for taking us along. Stay Safe!
Glad you got back ok. That little “lightning rod” is a “static disperser” used to shed away static electricity in flight. Usually placed on the wing tips or near the fuel jettison outlet. Yes, a little turbulence is usually encountered in most clouds. It’s about the differing air density inside the cloud vs outside of it.
Even right after 9/11, I’ve never been in a plane that sparse. Surreal.
Thanks for all the info
You beat me to it
@@TheDailyWoo We call them static wicks, and static dischargers. You may also be interested in knowing that you were on a legacy USAirways A321 enhanced version. I could tell by the LED lights. The barking dog you heard was the hydraulic PTU. The yellow electric pump was powering the green hydraulic system while moving the flaps. They are always slow on the ground like that. I have worked on, and taxied that plane many times. It's a shame that there weren't enough people on that flight to even pay for the fuel.
Hope all is well man.best wishes brother!
It looks too long to be a static wick; looks to be a fuel discharge nozzle
Safe travels. Going to miss the Florida vlogs. They’re the best.
Welcome back Adam! Easter is coming and spring is in full bloom and the BEST TIME to be in So California!!!
Welcome Home Adam!! I enjoyed this trip as it's as close to flying as I'll probably ever get. We're happy to have you back here in Cali🌞

love how the escalators are close to avoid people touching the handrails, yet the elevators have buttons to push
Zac Grant Aviation they have to have elevator access in order to be ADA compliant or I am sure those would be closed too.

Stay safe Woo 😷 we love you bro!!
Glad you made it home safely! Thanks for sharing your airplane ✈️ flight !
I don’t know how they can afford to keep the planes flying.
Kevin Ball a lot of airlines are filling their passenger cargo bays with commercial cargo which is helping them stay afloat. Because there are so little people flying and so few pieces of luggage, many aircraft are able to take a decent amount of essential cargo like masks and respirators to various locations which not only helps cover some of the fuel cost but also helps to distribute medical supplies. Some international airlines are even filling the passenger cabins with cargo on the seats and in the overhead bins.
They don’t. They have to keep flying regardless the significant losses. “Essential industry”
Not too mention that those flights are slowly rising in prices !
Kevin Ball, the Fed deemed airlines “essential” because medical personnel are moving around
@Jesus Greenblatt Thank Geitner for that
I'm glad you were able to go home Adam...I hope you stay healthy and safe🙏
That was bold Adam I hope you are self quarantining for the next 2 weeks.

Youre channel is one of the channels ive found that has inspired me to create videos.
It was so eerie seeing the airports that empty. Ive flown to and from Orlando times and each time it was crazy busy and swimming with life. For sure a sign of the times.
Keep up the awesomeness that is you and your channel! Stay safe and cant wait to see the next adventure!

outstanding shipmate. Takes me back when I was in the Navy. I left San Diego July 1983 . back to Houston Texas my home. I almost bent down and kissed the ground. Thank God I was home.
That plane actually looked super clean!
Great job! It's a wonderful thing to see what's going on out there. Glad your'e back.

This is amazing!!! Nobody will ever experience this in the airports and on planes again...I was a frequent flyer in my 20’s to and from Europe and I cannot get over the footage..I’m so envious Adam!
😎 you rock so much for documenting this!
Good video, Very strange to see the airports and flight so empty, but I am glad you made it home safely. Best place to hunker down for this is at home. I think you made the right decision. So happy you’re home safe! What an interesting experience that was to witness & seeing everything all empty! Loved that Downtown LA shot when you were landing.

Home sweet home. Welcome back, Adam. I think that "rock" you saw was Kennecott/Rio Pinto copper mines. I live
too close to this place. If I were younger I'd get out of dodge. You know I swear I've read a book about the isolation of towns and hiding people. Desperation by Stephen King? 🤔 Any ideas, friends? Loved the flight. So glad you're back! Whew.

I flew on January 1st 2000 Y2K and the airports and flights looked like this. This brought back memories.
@Joseph Shmo I remember thinking that they should just put all of us in First Class.
Glad you had the nerve to fly back then. While everyone was so fearful things were going to fall apart I just chilled out and thought about how many businesses were making bank off of our fears. Lots of computers, generators, survival packs, insurances, etc..This country and the world is so weird anymore. Pandemics come and they go. You either make it or you don't. Glad you made it back safe. Thanks for sharing. Things are a lot different than they were a few weeks ago to be sure.
that must be the cleanest plane ever.
If something good comes out of this, airplanes might be cleaner than ever. food for thought.
GoGoGadgetBasketballBand they need to install a HEPA system in ALL commercial flights 😏
GoGoGadgetBasketballBand , every plane now has that new car smell
It may 'look' clean. But whether or not the seats are sterilized/sanitized, etc. Is a different matter.
Cleaner planes, and probably less maintenance delays for the next year when things go back to normal because airlines have tons of time to get all the time consuming yearly maintenance done on their entire fleet. The usually have lots of planes out of commission for up to a month at a time for routine maintenance, painting, checks, etc. Normally they do all that on a scheduled rotation to make sure they have enough planes operational to cover all their flights. Now they can just service and do everything they need to their whole fleet with no issues. Every plane is going to be squeaky clean, fixed up, and looking brand new once this is over.
@@benjaminburditt134 "Once this is over" That's a big assumption. Things might never get back to the way they were. The airline industry might only see a maximum of 30% of its previous customer base in the future.
Wow this is nuts!
Really puts things in perspective
I was in Orlando’s airport in February and it was very crowded
Now not so much
