Stop downplaying how you defeated the Black Rabbit Brotherhood! You didn't cheese it, you artfully enacted a "tactical bunch of junk in the middle of the arena" strategy. Sun Tzu would be proud :p

I just binged multiple episodes of this stream over the weekend and I checked your twitch to see if more is there. I saw that you played and finished this game months ago and I'd like to say I really appreciate you going back, editing it and uploading it here for us to enjoy. The boss fights alone must be so much footage that you edit.

Holy ark sword is just busted. That things heavies carried me through laxasia. With the right position that weapon is just ridiculous and because of its transformation it’s even more versatile than some dex weapons. 7 coil spring sword is another favorite of mine

I just started this game last week and every time I beat a boss, I load up your video to see what you did the same or differently since you're one of the playthrough videos I found that did a technique build like myself. Stuck on LaxASIA since last night but I feel you, gotta just take a break (or two) from these damn bosses! ( and F the damn green swamp monster still...forever hate that mf). I've become a fan because of your energy and you're too damn funny! Keep up the great content and can't wait to see you finish this game.

I am pretty sure that all weapons have the same time to block, even if the animation looks faster on some. The difference is that some have longer recovery after attacking, so they are slower to block in those situations. But just standing and blocking should always be the same.
28:10 - I'm mad as hell that I've played this 4 times and not ONCE did the puppet and carcasses fight each other >_

My favorite weapon through the first 2 play through were the heavy blunt puppet arm axe with fire handle.
The dancers blade is pretty badass. Not sure if that’s exactly what’s it’s called. But I used that a lot. Very quick.
Great video! Can I recommend trying to pair the blade you have with the dancers curve blade handle? It has a very similar attack pattern but the charged heavy goes further distance and it has a very cool and fun parry mechanism

I haven’t seen you use the shot put. It staggers them when they’re ready to be staggered. Instead of trying to land an r2 attack.
The lightning wave attack in 1st phase and specifically the lightning meteor attack (not the balls I can parry those ones easy it's the final slam attack that fucks me up) are the worst lol

Laxasia is the toughest boss in Lies of P. You have to learn her move set and when to parry to have a chance of beating her. Never was able to parry when she crashes down with her lightning attack. Great boss, great game.
just watch her hp bar after deflecting last bolt-parry after last bolt hits her
@@user-yp5bc3qq9dDude THANK YOU , I reloaded my boss saves for practice cause I'm trying to get no hit on them and I could not get that timing down consistently, this helps a ton you absolute legend. (sorry I get overhyped)
If you're talking about her initial dive attack in phase 2 (after she sends a bunch of thunderbolts at you), the easiest strat is to simply use the grindstone that guarantees perfect blocks at the very beginning of phase 2. With that, you can block all of her projectiles and her dive attack.
@@ShyamadeepPrasad well i prefer acid grindstone for melee, her bolts r suprisingly easy to parry
Hey Marz, in terms of weapons, the game rewards you massively for picking blades that are effective against enemy types. So use acid blades/spear for human/humanoid, electric weapons (wheel and shock stick) against puppets and fire against plagued enemies. The normal weapons are massively underpowered compared to the elemental ones
not really, you need to get those staggers and you need to be really aggressive, they also give you the elemental grindstones for a reason

Lol my one shining moment from playing this game is I beat Laxasia on NG+6 only using legion arms and throwables.
Always fun watching Marz squeal and scream and then laugh at herself in these boss fights
I was looking forward to playing lords of the fallen but I couldn't get past the 1st boss and I was so sick of raging against it especially cause I knew what to do to beat her but I kept dying.

I almost wish this fight didn’t have the lightning parrys. Before I learned that, this fight was beating Orphan of Kos for the hardest soulslike boss. It still might be depending on RNG

Yes which is ultra lazy in my opinion.
She very rarely finishes a game, so when she finally does she has to space out the uploads so she actually has something to put on UA-cam.
When someone says "this boss suck, this fight is horrible", my honest opinion is that the boss is difficult and is the player who suck, because the boss is the same for everyone and some people don't have the same hard time and got to try for hours, if you struggled, I'm sorry but it's your fault. That meme is actually truth, and is the base of this kind of game, you need to get good.
And now I know why Mogh's fight wasn't in her videos, I was asking myself why she cut if off, I guess she was ashamed after getting carried by two players, there is no shame in ask for help, but aparently they where two random strangers that broken the game

Ah Laxasia, hardest boss in the game for me, maybe even harder than the swamp monster. I was actually forced to parry! (or use the thing that makes you auto-parry for a few seconds :D ) Awesome upload Marz.
The hardest boss is by far the optional end boss. You clearly missed that :)
@@mercenaryntx The Nameless Puppet? Oh, beat that boss on my second try! :D I used heavy weapons, and Puppet String, so I was able to power my way through that fight. Laxasia though, forced me to actually parry and find the right timing.

@@brianthebroken Wow, you did good then! I made the mistake skipping it on my first run, so in NG+ it was significantly harder. I spent two weeks trying to beat it, while Laxasia was only 1 day. Mostly because I already knew her. And the Nameless Puppet also cost me a controller (and some joint pains :D), because I was pushing the buttons too hard :D

I have yet to beat Laxasia. I've tried at least 50 times. I've only managed to maybe get her down to 50 % on Phase 2 GRR!!!!

I literally said the same thing about Mohg to my brother. After I invested so much energy and stress tolerance into Malenia Elden Ring started to become a chore at some parts and Mohg drained me...I took a break from the game for like 3 months, because at that point I was dreaming about Elden Ring, I couldnt get the game out my head and I needed rest from it. (EDIT:I mistook Marz talking about Mohg, for Morgott)
