I bought a GS550 engine, frame and wheels about a month ago, knowing nothing about building a bike but knowing I wanted to have a go. I've got a copy of the service manual and at the moment I am literally following along to your engine rebuild playlist, day by day, learning as I go. Thank you for such detail and style of presentation!
Thanks for watching. Part # 23222-07000 available at www.suzukipartshouse.com/oemparts/p/suzuki/23222-07000/piece-arm-and or www.ebay.com/itm/394032846697?hash=item5bbe301769:g:m0EAAOSwuV1iWbSm&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAAwFrQYNu9yuvPbWVPZXWkjX64lCOkRuqATrTs4MxWqqSxcUJlOYgsbIldGsHJNe0CdS2vCMWHKnZQ1rmuLS4wKjCeEXMBfjKON4PvU9atNAgbExqmMmJsBfh%2BqTCf2SdsKb6GecgL7a1Ca6xgu9eRx8IIsdl4zhOsNunudeBBCk%2Foh4EOELeM%2FTXfZPeaffSxtIt5qIkr6cBHyUPYK%2FpxVoF11RgfkSRj9yKhUBUdW%2BQez4INjQqrKlZ%2BP1OFn6pzxQ%3D%3D%7Ctkp%3ABk9SR4zahMTfYQ
Every new video I find differences between our bikes lol, on the GS 750 the mechanism acting on the push rod is behind the smaller cover, Oh and I wasn't able to get hex fixings for that part either the threads are finer.
Im having trouble locating parts for my gs550. Its a 77. Im trying to find the swing arm bearings but i cant find an aftermarket supplier. Where did you find yours?
@@UnderTheHood93 On the main jets, my initial choice has been 95. However, I have yet to start my bike and test, so where I eventually land is yet to be determined. Thanks for watching!
I swear, i have come to your videos EVERY time my gs550 needs a repair. I owe you the millions I would have paid a mechanic. Thank you.
I accept crypto! 😂 Seriously though, thanks for watching.

Appreciate you watching! You know I dig your build series too! 👍🙂
Have to tske all that play out at the screw and locknut under the cover, not at the cabke, that is only for fine adjustments
Thanks for watching.

Also what size jets did you use for your carbs for your pod filter set up?
On the bearing, I found more than one for sale on Ebay. I don't recall exactly which seller I bought mine from.
