Fractals are an art form imo. One that wasnt practical or even possible to produce before computers were powerful enough. Now we can have wonderful works of art such as this video, and everyone of us who has a computer can participate and create their own works. Thanks for this..its wonderful
Wow, this has got to be the most cinematic Mandelbox video yet, and possibly my favourite. The sense and depth of perspective is mind-blowing. Hollywood-beating stuff - congrats!
Mr. Marczak: You are a Super Master of this medium! I keep marveling the possibilities of large wall sized ,or just big canvases of stills selected from your trips, and modified to print. You are creating some great art and should prosper.
Wow, what a trip! Wonderful video, as always... Chopin and those two lights (and of course the beauty of fractals) make the whole thing really elegant and artistic =)
The entire video, the mix of music and pictures, it made me to imagine a scene where two persons are walking somewhere deep in the fractal and then the one asks:"will we ever get out here?" and the other says "no one knows" and then it zooms out very quickly and when the viewer sees the whole mandelbox, he knows that they're fucked O_o Wait, that's just typical for movies like "The Cube"
For whatever reason, my watching fractal compositions like these for too long starts to produce notable unpleasant physical sensations... Mild nausea and headaches. What the hell's up with that. :-|
hehe its supposed to be creepy its the mandlebox! any of the tiny detail you can see you can zoom in forever on and find as complicated structure's as you had to start with
It seems like all the good Madelbulb Fractals have vanished. These ones are maddening. It's as if the person making them has their head stuck in a single idea of scale. The whole point of Fractals is they're scale invariant. So..... Why not start zooming in on the details instead of avoiding them?

Also very nice choice of music. Makes the fractal structure seem elegant as well as mind boggling!
These light moving are really awesome, I need to add point light support into my own fractal explorer application.
Ok, I am not easily impressed, but this was ...beautiful. In choice of music, idea, everything... love it.

How can I add these lights in mandelbulber? It's not written in the manual.
By the way, I love the application =)
beautiful, and with the lights it looks like it might be a real place
It's like a fabulous, fantastic, frantabulous factory floor!
great choice of background music :)
Late to the party, just discovered Mandelbulber,
what a trip! Thanks for your efforts!
absolutely stunning. FANTASTIC WORK, xlace! keep em comin. goes perfectly with the piano :)
I'm stunned. This is beautiful
Simply lovely.
It's wonderful, thank you ;)
An absolutely amazing adventure, and very well put together. This is one of my favourites :)
Wonderful animation and lovely music...
@ImThePangolin, On Mandelbulber website go to "User Manual", and then "Lights tab"/"Predefined lights"
Wonderful...Wonderful music and images!
So far the best!! Great!!
Music too!!
graphics r stunning! you are a mandelbulber god!
Great as always!
Is it just me or does this make the imagination of touring the inside of an alien spacecraft a helluva lot more real?
brilliant use of different programs `1!!
Awesome!! Keep them coming!! Thanks!!
thank you!!
The perspective at 1:10 is stunning.
Is there a way to make the texture even more glossy and metallic for more detailed reflections?
Awesome work.
The sense of scale has to be beyond awesome with the oculus rift.
Awesome fractal rendering and choice tune, but it's Chopin Opus 64 Waltz No. 2
The companion to The Minute Waltz (Op.64 No.1)
this must of took forever to render. wonderful
ugh beautiful fuckin song and imagery, divinity through and through

Wait, that's just typical for movies like "The Cube"
wonderfull combination!!
Beautiful!
Great Job. I see you fan-base is getting larger.
Nice work ! Thanks!
3:07 It are actually two different fractals, one placed into another?
MAGNIFICENT!!
Pretty ... but almost uncomfortably Geiger-esque
Superb!
Please, what are the formulas used for this fractal?
So awesome!!!
Chopin was very fitting.
Inspiring! Well done. 👍😉👍
Great Job.

What the hell's up with that. :-|
idk how i got to this... but wow this is nice :D
Yes, it's different fractal used as a background.
great job!
How long did it take you to render the entire thing?
@xlace Thanks!
hehe its supposed to be creepy its the mandlebox! any of the tiny detail you can see you can zoom in forever on and find as complicated structure's as you had to start with
@elvisinpersonator, please read video description :-)
No Pentiums here ;) (Another awesome upload...tnx)
@feebasfactor yeah stuff like this for some reason give me a headache.
marvelous fairy tale
@c1us1ek Nuta jest w drodze :-)
Extramentally mind blowing LSD free travelling.
to jest tak dobre, że odpadam! @_@
Wow.
L-O-V-E-!
thanx! :)

+Cloeren Jackson Have you seen this one: ua-cam.com/video/uAG6YmB8q_M/v-deo.html
It's classic Mandelbulb
+Cloeren Jackson Why not share some of your own fractal creations with the class, then, if yours are so superior?
looks like a secret demonic city...
Imagine watching this with Oculus Rift...
or actually being inside of it.. so awesome!
Reminds me of Alien.
Mathematical!
